First time coming here for a sit down Indian and can honestly say it’s the best one I’ve ever had. Food was incredible with huge portions. Staff were attentive and very polite. Will most definitely be coming back soon.

The Hyderabadi Biryani was so bland. Seriously - not flavour to it at all. Same for the Vindaloo Chicken I also ordered the Matka Kulfi - awful! Authentic Indian dessert? No! It was Ice Cream with a few finely chopped nuts in it. DO NOT ORDER!

Excellent in almost all aspects except the jalfrezi sauce which was a little watery and lacked chilli. Otherwise very good.

The poppadoms were spongy, the dips were not fresh probably out of a jar, the chicken was lukewarm and lacked flavour, the pilau rice was lukewarm warm and had a pile of water at the bottom of the bowl-just like Uncle Ben’s and the garlic naan lacked garlic and was dry. Anyway the beer was good!

I must of eaten in over Fifty plus Indian & Bangladeshi Restaurants across the UK over a forty year period and I have to say the food I was served in the Curry Leaf restaurant Devizes has to be the worst ever. I regularly opt for a Chicken Biryani and this dish here was dreadful and was the most disgusting Indian food I’ve ever tasted. Firstly it was served in a dish no bigger than a coffee cup. There was barely three tablespoons of rice. The rice was extremely oily (dripping in it ) and the pieces of chicken or should I say lack of had a strange taste. The accompanying vegetable curry side dish was just as bad. It’s basically consisted of nothing but a thick gravy like sauce with sugar pea pods being the only vegetable. Bland and tasteless. I didn’t kick up a fuss as I was being taken out to dinner for a special occasion. But I can assure you I myself wouldn’t have paid for it. I live in Devizes and Never-less to say I won’t be returning as not only did I leave hungry the food tasted horrid.

We have tried a few curry places in Devizes and we found this place to be the best when it comes to flavour and authenticity. There is a wide selection for dishes offered and the house specials are great. We often visit this place and the staff have been really friendly and accommodating. Really delicious food and we’ve not had any bad experience.

They forgot the Garlic Naan I ordered but I don't mind since they seemed to be substituted with chips.

Very tasty, authentic Indian food - highly recommend! Good service, and different from the other Indian restaurants in town.

This place has THE most delicious food !!! We have ordered to eat several times for takeaway, but this was the first in person dining experience... The waitress was very good - attentive and helpful, but not in your face. It was one of the coldest nights on record, so we needed a cosy meal !! The Curry Leaf was perfect !! Very reasonable prices, the pickles are made in-house ( totally amazing flavours !!) and everything was eaten - clean plates all round !! Try it out !!!

It's an excellent curry takeaway. Prompt service as a walkin off the pavement. One pint later, and I was away. The chef is at the top of his game. Lamb madras flavours were proper old school made with fresh herbs and spices. Nice and spicy.. Pilau rice and garlic Nann both 10/10. Difficult to find fault if it's a takeaway curry you are after.

I wouldn't buy it again as it didn't taste right, it was like lemon had been poured in it. not nice at all so I couldn't eat it

My partner ordered a takeaway, which I collected this evening. It was very disappointing - the meat in the Lamb Tikka Biriany was almost inedible and certainly not worth £13.95, there wasn’t a lot of chicken in the Tikka Masala and the Nan bread was soggy. All 3 items were lukewarm. This is the first time we have used The Curry Leaf - we won’t be using them again or recommending them to our friends and family.

THE best curry house in Devizes area hands down. The Curry Leaf Special (HOT SPICE) is delicious, a firm favourite.

Not a criticism. But maybe some mint yogurt with the onion bhaji’s. But delivery and taste is lovely and hot as well. Thank you. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love ordering from here. I don’t know ow how they do it because no matter what meat you order it’s always SO tender and gorgeous. My all time favourite restaurant to order from. The quality and taste is 11/10.

Disappointing return to the UK. I find it most annoying and also dishonest when restaurants claim to cook food in a Tandoor when they clearly don't. The lamb and chicken had been pre-cooked and reheated, were lukewarm and slightly tough. Never been near a Tandoor. The restaurant presumably assumes that it's customers don't know the difference. The Biryani was not authentic and very greasy. Everything was so bland. The poppadoms were ok.

I can’t fault The Curry Leaf for their Takeaway service; excellent customer service, accurate delivery time predictions and delicious food!

Had the food delivered by just eat. The cheesecake was frozen still, and absolutely tiny for £5. The delivery driver didn’t even give us a chance to buzz him in. He held the buzz in and done this three times, we have a baby which I explained to him and rather than apologising told us to put it on the notes (we’ve ordered from other takeaways and NEVER had this issue. One buzz and give us a chance to open the door. I thought it was common sense) sadly no apology and just tried to blame us. The food was good but sadly the delivery driver really ruined the delivery.

Fabulous menu selection - rare to get tilapia fish and it was gourmet and delicious! Great work guys

Fairly priced for the quality, arrived early and hot. The korma was a little sweeter than would have liked but will always vary from place to place so can't complain, still tasted great.

Chicken wasn't cooked correctly and the food was just generally bland and tasteless.

I had to ring the restaurant twice and I was told they would ring me back and didn’t. The food was cold , so had to microwave it . When I spoke the delivery guy he said that he had five deliveries and gave no apologies what so ever. Absolutely furious. Was not even offered an apology from the restaurant either

asked for chicken tikka balti to be hot and spicy and wasn't disappointed, taste was spot on lots of spice and lovely thick sauce.

Fantastic experience! We went in as a last minute decision for dinner. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. I asked what I could have as a vegan, and the waiter came over, explained the menu with three clear allergen listings and gave recommendations. I ended up having a curry that is usually lamb, but he made it with veg instead. Was very knowledgeable about allergens in the rice and breads and made me a special rice to accommodate. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I will definitely go back!

If I could give a lower score I would. The food was tasteless and practically cold when it turned up and the popadoms were stale and burnt. Won’t be ordering from them again.

As the hotel I was stopping at doesn’t serve food on Mondays I decided to travel into Devizes and found this absolute gem. The food is absolutely divine and is quite honestly on a par with anything I’ve had in the past. The prices are excellent considering the quality of food on offer and anywhere else you’d be paying another twenty to thirty pounds on top. Highly recommend the Curry Leaf. You won’t be disappointed.

I ordered through just eat for 1845, after a number of messages saying it’s been delayed the food turned up at 1925. If you can’t supply the food at the ordered time please don’t take the order!! The food was hot and tasted good but there was an item missing.

Ordered for 5.45PM, confirmed for 6PM. It was then delayed to 6.20PM however I have just called the restaurant 6:45 who have advised driver issues with traffic (I live 5-10mins from the restaurant) and I will need to contact Justeat directly for a refund, not to expect a delivery.

We ordered a veggie takeaway, we found very little difference in the sauces, but having big chunks of chicken in one was very very disappointing.

Very disappointed. Ordered at 19:30, arrived at 21:30. Food arrived somewhat warm, naan breads were stone cold and curry was lukewarm. Considering not ordering again in future due to this.

Curry was just warm when delivered and ordered a dessert which must have been in bad with food as was melted everywhere and was inedible.

Not very nice coming from a vegetarian, meat eaters liked there’s. Lack of flavour and watery. Won’t be ordering as a vegetarian from here again.

First and last time ordering sadly. The portion sizes were extremely small. Nothing included in the bag like prawn crackers/popadoms/fortune cookies etc. even with £40 spent. We love a bit of flavour and spice but this was way overdone, who wants to eat food that physically hurts? Pakora was the only redeeming feature.

Food quality and portion size was not worth the price. Also they forgot my £4 drink. The food did arrive early, even after the drive had trouble with finding my address. But it just doesn't make up for my disappointment. I will not be recommending this establishment.

poppadoms were a bit stale love

We have been here before on a journeys and enjoyed the food on a takeaway basis . But this time a little disappointed Goan curry was a lot hotter than expected more of vindaloo heat The poppadom tray came with lots of poppadoms but just 1 tub of pickle normaly with a sit down meal you get 3/4 different dips other than that small gripe it was nice

Food took over an hour to arrive (app said it would from when order was placed) food was incredibly good. Best curry I think I've ever had. Tender chicken flavoursome sauces, big portions. Starters were delicious and food was hot and tasty.

Food was an hour later than the ordered for time (35mins later than updated ‘running late’ time). Food was only warm. Appreciate you were busy, but more updates would have been better, as I would have cancelled earlier.
