The Curator in Hillingdon

while waiting to travel on our holiday we called in for a drink and a bite to eat . the staff were very friendly and attentive . the food and drink were very good , the place was very clean and atmosphere pleasant. John and his team made us feel very welcome . a great way to start our holiday . thanks guys .

Like most people here I guess we were killing time before an early flight, but Bloody Marys were in order and were excellent, as was the breakfast - the Vegan breakfast especially.

The restaurant is quite nice inside but the tables are packed very closely together. I ordered a full English breakfast and coffee. The coffee arrive lukewarm so I asked for another which was hot. The breakfast arrived in about 6 mins, which always a worrying sign for me. Generally it means it was already sitting there waiting for someone, or its microwaved. I think it was option one, the food arrived lukewarm. I could be bothered to complain, I didn't have the luxury of time. The food itself was quite nice, however, when I'm paying £25 for breakfast I expect better. That being said, its an airport, so my expectations are low to begin with.

Wish we'd given it a miss, not too busy but tables are so packed in together you just don't feel comfortable or relaxed, took a while to get served which was a bit of an ordeal, the server took mine and my partners orders then went to leave without taking our order for our son. The food did come out very fast and for the most part was quite tasty, the coffee was ok but only arrived once we were half way through our meal, the restaurant wasn't the cleanest and the price was extortionate for what you got, for an example it's £3.50 for a single slice of toast!

The food was bad and cold, but luckily the portion was not large. We had something like Sunday lunch, Yorkshire with beef. If you can choose, don't go here.

This place looks grubby and is not particularly pleasant. There is a limited breakfast menu and no free coffee fill ups. Service needs prompting but the staff are friendly enough. The French Toast was ordinary. Breakfast for 2 with only 1 hot dish came to £28 without service. Perhaps you should look elsewhere but there isn't much choice.

The Curator in Terminal 3 (after security) should avoided. Good service but awful food. I ordered the Tower Burger £19.50 and it was inedible!

The food was just ok and the service was just ok as well. They seemed to be having staffing issues. I had the nachos, which I have to day were not any better than the ones at Taco Bell.

This place was a godsend after dealing with Heathrow's size. Much better and more comfortable than average restaurant fare.

Stood in the queue for a while for them to let a table of 3 then a table of 4 in before us! Drinks and food very overpriced. £4.25 for a half pint of coke. I know it’s an airport but even still. Also, the cutlery is rather odd, the knife they give you is more like a butter knife, it didn’t really cut anything. We ordered a tower burger to be told they couldn’t do a fried egg in it but could offer scrambled egg on the side??? Food okay but nothing amazing

I arrived at 11am and they made a fuss about serving the breakfast menu until they finally acquiesced. It took 4 requests to get a glass of water and another 2 servers to get me the bill. Eggs with habanero sauce were tasty but the service is sloppy.

Come here to be repeatedly ignored (as in totally blanked) by staff when you need basic service like getting a table or menu. I cannot comment on the food as I gave up and left. Went to Sputinos instead - was greeted, seated and had ordered with 3 mins of walking through the door!

Popular and might be a line but it moved quickly. Service was quick also and friendly host and servers. Flat white coffee £4, beef sandwich with Yorkshire pudding wrap was tasty (very interesting concept, like a pita made out of Yorkshire pudding wrapped around beef) £14.25, side of garden vegetables £4.75.

We were instantly greeted with a smile (and a dance!) by Dorothy who was just lovely. The menu was really appealing and it didn't disappoint! Food was gorgeous!! Best airport food we've had - and reasonably priced, too.

What an awful place. Yes you have to queue for a table, but that's normal in T3. However the food, the service, the place is awful. Our food came in installments. My gravy for the sausage and mash came after I'd finished. My wife's vegan burger came after she had finished her sweet potato fries. But, the worst was was my grandsons chicken strips which came with a side order of HAIR. When I complained they brought more, but these were raw, which was originally explained as the marinade. They ultimately agreed when I demonstrated the blood oozing out of the chicken. It's pricy too Do not eat here, especially if you have an upcoming long haul flight.

Nice enough place ,, but ‘creamy’ scrambled wggs were rubber and toast and bacon cold … sent back Scrambled eggs now hot but you could cut them up and use as a pencil eraser … clearly just jammed into a microwave and eggs are brown on top , from heat lamps? Nice enough wait staff

Super rude customer service. It would be a good idea to learn manners before you work in customer service.

Best curry I have had for a while, underrated, generous portion, fresh naan, chick peas and mango chutney, perfectly balanced. I know, this was indeed a nice surprise as I normally come away dissappointed by the eateries at UK airports.

The least crowded of the options at terminal 3 and for good reason. £ 11.25 for a burnt croissant and 2 really awful cups of coffee.

Reasonably quick service entirely undone by overpriced food. Notably, my pint of Stella was warmer than any of the food on my plate. And the Stella actually had frost on the glass…..

If it were anywhere else I would give it a 3. But, it is airport food and it is better than most. Service was fast and efficient. It was crowded, but you didn't feel encroached upon.

Bad experience. Worst hamburger ever. It was like eating a show sole. Stay away from this "restaurant".

A decent breakfast in a comfortable seating area within the airport. They said food in under 4 mins and it was faster. Huge portions. The knives (cutlery) were an odd curiosity.

Arrived at 11:30 on a Tuesday. It was reasonably busy but waited only about 5 minutes for a table. Service was excellent. We ordered a small plate of nachos and a steak and mustard burger. The nachos were excellent and quite large for a small plate. The burger had a reasonable sized steak cut into pieces to fit on the bun but unfortunately it had very little taste and had a lot of gristle. Plenty of beer choice. Beer was nice and cold. Reasonable prices for an airport bar.
