Found by accident. A small pub but very friendly. Has live football but no ales.. so not a pub I would come back too. Unfair to give a poor review due to that as very nice inside and people there also very friendly. Only a 3 star due to lack of ale.. otherwise would be higher

Yes of course , I forgot to mention the 7 pounds for penauts and 2 packets of crisps that my wife bought for us . 7 pounds mate !! I mean, are you serious ? Discuss on Google over prices ? .you are too pricey , service was bad and people were just a bit too over the line to bring a woman to the place . Just accept it, Don t discuss it. It was late, service was squallid ,dark, and some places around the area are much cheaper , with better service. I m the customer and I did not like your pricing , your customers, and experience you cannot forced me something that WE did not like . I might come back but definitely not at that time of the night and not for drinking spirits Maybe pints, Yes, that place is suitable for pints, That s it, my bad.. and maybe food, I d like to try your food, MAYBE is good, but I have to inform people TO NOT GO there late at night because except for me dancing alone in the shop, it was a very bad atmosphere, people "trying to be friendly" to my wife while I was sitting smoking..do you think she does not get enough attention from his husband mate ? Who wants to bring a wife in the middle of 4 middle aged pinted adults men to relax and chill ? For those prices ? For that kind of service ? At that time of the day ? NOBODY. Enjoy your pub mate, best of luck. See you for breakfast soon.

Been here with my wife for a very late drink it was around 23. People have been nice do not take me wrong , 4 people in the pub, they put music for us , i asked for a cigarette they gave it to me, very cool people. Real nightmare was pricing: I have spent 40 pounds for 2 double gin tonic one baylies ,one wiskhy and peanuts ! 40 Pounds !! I know alchool it could be expensive but preparation was not even fancy, they did not even put ice in the gin , not stirred, not preparation at all, just tapped the gin in the glass and that was it. the are way better options in Ringwood to get yourself a proper drink. Plus my wife was the only woman and they assaulted her like a glass of water in the Sarah deserts. Questioning her regardless the presence of her man. Very annoying. In wheterspoon I ll probably would had spent half of the money and had left the place with no trauma WE WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN COME BACK IN THIS PLACE. NEVER !

A locals pub with a friendly atmosphere…… one of our group has a very serious Gluten intolerance so was very happy when the landlady produced some bottles of his favourite gluten free Speckled Hen ale. Wednesday night was their steak night and with the landlady confirming that they could cook the steak to our friends gluten free needs, we booked ourselves in for about 7pm. We had our table reserved in their new outdoor seating area. Rump / Sirloin and Ribeye we’re the choices with homemade peppercorn sauce, onion rings as sides if needed. All 9 of our steaks were cooked as asked and to perfection. If we lived closer we would definitely be taking advantage of their good beers and steak dinners as for £30 for two starters and two steaks …… you can’t go wrong. A good small local pub and well worth a visit. Members of East Kent Triumph Owners Club.

This is a great little gem in Ringwood but it is a basic bar. Client is friendly as is the staff. There is a great jukebox however it stole a quid off me and the bar maid didn't know what to do or offer a rebate. Pool table available and a nice rear terrace however there is no heat lamps. If you want that then head to Framptons over the road.

My friends and I intended to come into this pub for a quick drink, however we wanted to leave as soon as we stepped in. We were made to feel incredibly uncomfortable when half the group bought drinks and the others played pool and were told 'this isn't a youth club'. The others were made to buy drinks but at the minimum price of £4 if using card. The rest of the visit was very awkward as we were the only ones in but thankfully we couldn't hear the complaints from the bar as the music drowned it out.

The lady who served me was not very friendly. This was my first visit here. I ordered food and was standing waiting for it, the server didn’t tell me until I’d been standing there for a while that she’d bring it over… when she did bring it over she gave me a knife to eat a sandwich? It was not a nice atmosphere, the servers behind the counter were smashing around emptying the dishwasher. Couldn’t hear myself think. Wouldn’t go back here.

My friends and I visited on a Sunday afternoon from out of town at a local’s recommendation. I loved the atmosphere - lots of plants, lots of seating. There weren’t many customers, so it wasn’t loud. We were hoping for afternoon tea, but sadly it is not available on Sundays. Some of us got the Sunday Roasts instead. More in our party (of 10) would have liked to try the Sunday Roast, but they only sold it to some of us due to limited staff & presumably limited ingredients. The rest ordered sandwiches. I’m sorry to say I was not impressed with the starter or main course (the meat, potatoes and vegetables were a bit dry), but I did enjoy the crème brûlée for dessert. Afterward, we visited a gin distillery around the corner. They allowed us samples, and I was impressed with the flavor and smoothness.

Best fish and chips in a long time… the small size of the kiosk had me convinced it would just be drinks etc, but oh, how wrong I was! Such a variety, quick and friendly service

Possibly the worst sandwich I have ever tasted. I can only describe the bread as poor quality thin sliced white bread, the cheese could not be seen, there was a generous amount of caramelised jam! over priced at £6.50! The tea was reasonable. The cakes looked nice.

Visited today, staff very welcoming. Cooked breakfast was very good, love that you also get marmalade with 2 rounds of toast with it as well. They had other breakfast options on their specials board too. Good value for money. Would certainly visit again. Thankyou.
