The Crown Inn in Wrexham

We went on Thursday (steak night), our steaks were cooked to perfection. All the staff are friendly and attentive, special compliments to Craig, Shaun and Rob.

I enjoy coming to this pub as the staff are very warm and friendly, especially the cook Kraig, above that the food he prepares for customers is unbelievably good. He will go out of his way to make it the way you like. Kraig is a very heart warming person and I hope he gets the credit he deserves as part of The Crown, highly recommend going there for the food cooked by Kraig!

Very busy lunch time today Wednesday 22 May, Bar staff were excellent, a nice smile for each customer and good service. Food was very good, and we got a thank you and good bye from the lad behind the bar when leaving, well done we will come again.

Fantastic food and staff , cannot fault anything , go at least every two weeks with family, going again tonight. Good offers on some weeks has well .

Another excellent meal at this gem of a place. Large family gathering on Saturday and although the pub was very busy our food was great, the service first class and everyone looked after greatly. Great value for money here too. Can’t recommend too highly as it’s always great here.

Very good, staff were cheerful and friendly, food was of good quality and tasty, the area we sat in was very clean and warm. Overall it was very good, I would go again and recommend it.

Went to the crown twice in the past week and each time it was first class. The food is lovely and great size portions and the service is first class. The new menu has some great new meals on it and I’m never disappointed when I call in there. Keep up the good work!

It’s been a while since we’ve been here due to a very long wait for our food last time, but we thought we’d give it another try. Unfortunately things haven’t changed !! After waiting more than half an hour, we asked a waiter how much longer our food would be and he returned with the answer “another ten minutes “. Three tables near us had already been served, one of which came in a while after us. Another 15 minutes later our food arrived, only to find they had brought me the wrong meal. So by the time I got the right one, my husband had nearly finished his. If it had been worth waiting for I wouldn’t have minded, but it wasn’t. It will be a long time before we go back again!!

Called in earlier today for tea and it was excellent. The beef brisket was really really nice and a great special whilst the steak was first class as always. Often call in and this place never lets us down at all as staff are first class too.

Can't believe how my friends and I got treated, staff and John made the people feel bad, he blamed myself and family feel bad, I never once said anything

We had a festive Christmas lunch today, the bar was beautifully decorated and a big tree, the table was beautifully decorated with crackers and serviettes, the food was out of this world, thank you to the chef, Rob and John served us and the bar man were all very helpful, thank you. Nothing was too much trouble, and we are going to recommend them to all of our friends, book here you will be as pleased as we all were everything was perfect. thank you to a great team. Excellent as always. Great service and Rob was excellent as always. Food was great. Beer was great and this was my second visit this week and every time I come here John the lovely landlord is always willing to talk football and so welcoming. Great staff and great place with great food and service. Get down there and be looked after as I always love this place and it never disappoints me.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Staff were great as always and Sophie was excellent and incredibly helpful to us on the night. Food was lovely as it always is and even though it was busy nothing was too much trouble for the staff - especially Sophie.

My friend and I visit The Crown frequently. We always have a good experience. Food and wine is good and affordable- a great mid-week treat! Special shout out to Sophie who is always friendly and attentive.

Booked a table on spec after a busy day and had a lovely meal. The specials menu was really tempting and great to see. Very enjoyable night and staff were amazing as always despite being very busy. Offer on main meals is very good value for money too.

Group of approx 7 children, running around opening & closing the side door which we were seated right next to. They ignored our polite request to leave the door closed. Their parents / caters took no notice & the staff behind the bar didn’t take appropriate action either. Lovely evening with super food, drink & service spoiled by this intrusion.
