Lovely pub and the staff provided excellent customer service throughout our visit. The food was lovely and was not disappointed on my first visit

We only live in Norton Canes and keep receiving offers through our door, we were at a loose end on Saturday and decided to give The Crown a try. We have a fabulous time, all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly and it always sets off a great atmosphere in a restaurant, the staff all seem to really like working there and have excellent customer service. We will be back soon, food was great but we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Thank you for a great dinner.

As usual looked after impeccably when we had a lunchtime visit. A very relaxing and pleasant experience. Small appetites at our age so we shared a meal. Were supplied an extra plate without asking to make sharing our baguette easier and more pleasant. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I don't normally review pub meals, because they are usually what they are, so this is an exception. This was a family meet-up: two youngsters, two parents and two grand-parents. The venue is very pleasant. We ordered a range of items (starters, mains and desserts). The menu itself is fairly standard fare, but (more importantly) the quality of all of the food served throughout was extremely good. The service was also good. We only regret that The Crown is not a 'local', but it will be our preferred meet-up venue in the future.

A regular meeting point for friends and myself it’s the right place and a good central meeting point very good value for money with lovely staff and a clean pleasant environment

We have been visiting The Crown for years and have visited on three Christmas days. It's a lovely place to eat, the food has always been great and hot. The staff are always so friendly and always smile. We will continue to visit The Crown for years to come.

Visited here with my wife Glenys and friend Gerry for lunch. It was a very pleasant experience. From the warm atmosphere both physically and otherwise it was a lovely lunch. The menu was reasonable as was the prices by today's standards. Service was friendly and quick. The food was excellent especially the lovely crispy chips. I have tried, perhaps too many, chips in restaurants and these were top class, probably say the best. Our only reservation was pulling off their car park which in the rush hour was not easy. Apart from this minor comment which they cant do anything about it was an excellent experience.

Been in tonight 13th November 2023 and the new decor looks fabulous, food was amazing, well cooked and piping hot 5 🌟 service all round, our hostess SHANNON was ready to greet us on arrival with the loveliest of smiles and made us all feel welcome the second we walked in to the minute we walked out. I was very disappointed during a recent visit to the Crown with family. I ordered a vegetarian dish, cheddar, leak and potato pie and when it arrived I could see pits of meat in the gravy and asked if it was meat. They took it away and brought a new pot of vegetarian gravy without giving any explanation. We also ordered 2 southern fried hunters chicken and were told that one of the toppings, shredded chicken, wasn’t available so it would arrive without this. We said ok. However at the end of the meal, I asked if the lack of topping on the hunters chicken dishes would be reflected in the cost. The man asked if we were told before hand that it was unavailable and I said yes, but we still had less than advertised on the menu surely the cost should be reduced accordingly. He simply said, this cannot be done. I was totally disgusted by his total refusal to acknowledge that I even had a point and he walked away with not the slightest apology. It was very clear from the service provided that all they care about is the money and have zero regard for the customer. The single worst eating experience I have ever encountered.

Booked for a family gathering of 20 people - aged 6 right up to 92 😬 Excellent service, which made the whole experience of ordering for 20 people less stressful. Could not fault any of the staff. Food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Been many times in the past, always had good experiences. Should have known better car park was empty. Tired decor, ripped chairs. Meals were average, some of the food was cold, peas, onion rings and fries. We were offered new fries but was at the end of our meal so we declined. Disappointed to say the least.
