Enjoyed the food, quick service, place was very busy, probably needed more staff, tables weren't cleared. Recommend the people overseeing, to do some work.

Sure, the beer is competitively priced but often has a sour taste. I stick to Lagers, which tend to last a bit better. I like that I'm more likely to bump into an old friend here than anywhere else. You can't beat them for value. You can get food and a beer at a very good price, even if it might not be large portions. Its a pity they have a "no dogs" policy. Service is usually very good, its not often I have to wait more than a few minutes to be served.

Sunday breakfast, hung over. But it was cheap (soo cheap, it made me double check the prices). We will definitely be doing that again. Clean and pleasant staff. Only issue I had was finding the coffee machine. Clientele was interesting to boot! Well worth a visit.

In my most humble opinion as a well seasoned Wetherspoon's visitor, this is probably the worst Wetherspoon's in the world. And it's my local. I've been so disappointed this year in the quality of food and beer. So, so disappointed. Please sort this out or close down and disappear. So sad for me to say that as a CAMRA member and a Spoon's regular.

Great local pub, a good mix of characters so you’re sure to find someone to chat to. Overall staff and customers seem like good honest people.

Got in just before lunch it was full school holidays found table ordered food within 10 mins food DELIVERED hot and waitress was outstanding she put meals on counter then cleaned table and DELIVERED food

Got our food and drinks but smelt smoke and looking round saw two guys who seemed regulars vaping and staff not bothering to ask them to stop.

We came here for a chat and decided to have some food, I'm so glad we did as it was delicious. We had chicken strips and salad and enjoyed it so much. Will certainly be here again for some food. Staff friendly as well. Thank you

Very busy on Saturday afternoon and 6 cask ale on although it was the beer festival

Called in for a coffee at lunchtime. A very nice surprise to find that you could have free refills. Great prices, and the atmosphere was very good,with an eclectic mix of ages. The menu is extensive and affordable.

Wetherspoons standard place. No parking but huge place. Most toilets up steep stairs but there is a wheelchair accessible toilet on ground floor. Some outdoor seating for good weather. Quite a large venue. Quick service at bar.

Service was prompt and staff were friendly and polite. Didn't partake in the food, but it looked ok. Atmosphere was fine for the time of morning.

Good place to go for a pintand a meal

Love the cross shuttle food is better than Bramley spoons. The staff are so nice and make sure your food is amazing and never had an issue here. Food is brilliantly priced they have a small fire in winter . Locals are friendly and I don’t drink but loads of alcohol if that’s your thing.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime with family. Food choices were good and service was quick.

We came today for a family breakfast . Tables all sticky and not clean properly. We were given dirty coffee cups so had to ask for clean ones. Breakfast came and it was disappointing. Uncooked bacon, greasy food, the mushroom tasted like they had been boiled. Not a great experience. The staff are nice enough, but the food is definitely below par which is ashamed because it's quiet a nice little pub. Won't be rushing back in a hurry

Staff friendly even though busy

Very small portions.Order for a panini was sent back because the bread was that hard it broke a filling in my daughters mouth. I had the fish and chips and the fish batter was rock hard. My mother had a jacket potato and the skin was crunchy and hard. Didn't come with any butter. Overall very poor and I will not be eating there again. Worth travelling down the road to The Old Unicorn which is 5 stars .

Disappointed with the interior......not up to the usual standards we've come to like and expect from Weatherspoons....

Had breakfast, typical Wetherspoons food. We had English muffin breakfast sandwich which was okay to be fair for the price, the tea though, well let's just say, if you used Yorkshire Tea, the brew would have been sooo much better. Tetley tea bags are not great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Food could be better but it's cheap

We arrived and the table we took had been used (not a problem), we asked if staff could clean it for us and it was left with food on the table and we hD to re ask for it to be wiped. We ordered of the app, our drinks arrived but 1 was missing and we had to go up to the bar to collect it, I explained that a drink was missing and they went to another customer, another staff member had to come to me after he had finished with his current customer (it was sat under the tap).. The food came and was lovely though.

I visited here on a very hot weekend with my friends and family , there was probably a group of 20 of us and I honestly cannot fault the staff at all. It was extremely busy and despite the staff evidently being tired from the heat they were still doing their absolute best. I happened to interact with Callum on a few occasions after noticing a tattoo of his about him being a type 1 diabetic and striking conversation. I informed him one of our party members was also diabetic and straight away he offered to help in any way necessary in order to accommodate to them. Every time he was seen on or off the bar he had a massive smile on his face and was polite to customers, sometimes even singing to himself as he poured drinks. Callum was a star and by a mile the best wetherspoons staff member i have ever been served by. The company should be extremely proud to have such a polite and cheerful young man.

The food is OK, it is a case of you get what you pay for. Its just your normal average pub

The portions were so small, a dozen chips and a burger put in a dinner bun. When I was asked if everything was OK, I said the portions were very small, the man kindly said he could bring us more chips, but he couldn't do anything about the burger as they were standard size. I refused the chips, because I was more upset about the size of the burger. Wetherspoons you need to look at your portion sizes, I know prices have gone up in general, but the customer still has the right to a decent sized meal. I saw the bar staff clearing and cleaning tables and they seemed friendly enough, but the whole place feels like it could do with a refurb.

Just a quick stop off whilst out and about. Food as I usually find at wetherspoons is served promptly. It came piping hot which is always a bonus. Didn't have many chips on my plate but the man that served me very quickly agreed and brought a full bowl extra out which was appreciated. Nice relaxed atmosphere plenty of slot machine in a corner I'd that floats your boat .

Beer is decent with a wide selection.

Great pub with good food and atmosphere! Magenta served me on the bar and explained the different drink options and deals. The food was lovely and hot, with quick service! Would recommend.

More care and attention is required - I know Wetherspoons is a budget restaurant that provides extremely good value for money, however, on this occasion the standards were much lower than I would normally expect from this chain. The lady on the counter wasn't paying attention to our order and missed extra cheese from one of the burgers, we then had to send the burger back so that the cheese could be added. The manager brought the receipt to us and said it had been missed from the order so we had to pay an additional £1.40 for the cheese. In my opinion this should have been free of charge as it wasn't our fault it was missed and the additional wait time when the burger went back into the kitchen wasn't something that we should have had to have gone through. This wasn't the end of the disaster, whilst eating my burger I found a piece of greaseproof paper between the burger and the bun, this is an extremely careless error that should not be happening. I could have choked on it but fortunately I didn't. When the management was informed, my plate was immediately taken away, even though I hadn't finished my food! The staff just seemed to be rushing around everywhere and this resulted in carelessness and lack of attention. There were staff dropping cutlery on the floor too, it just wasn't a pleasant experience. The manager did offer us a free drink or dessert but we declined this as it was more about making them aware of the terrible service, we weren't looking for freebies. The food was okay, the chips were fine but my burger was very overcooked and dry. I don't think I'll be going back as there are better Wetherspoons than this one nearby.

Not a bad pub but food wasn't great. Had fish and chips which had to be sent back as very little fish actually in it. Chips were hard and mushy peas were in a clump. Not great at all.

This is the best wetherspoons I've been to. The cleanest by far. Fabulous service, delicious food and excellent value given the current economic climate. Pleased to see plant based options. Wouldn't go for my breakfast anywhere else.

Worst Spoons we've ever been to. 45 minutes before being served. Was at bar to ask for refund when food was served, other people asking same or complaining of food served cold . Our food was barely warm . Absolutely disgusting service.

A bit dark and dreary where we sat in the entryway but the place was clean and drink/food were as described and on time.

Good selection of fair priced drinks, food looks great value, comfortable friendly place. Very surprised to see so many mums bring their school children in after picking themselves up from school. Kids given crisps and pop whilst mum's hit the wine by the big glass full, not an environment for kids unless eating in my opinion

For a smaller Spoons we think this is a great bar one of the best, staff are always friendly and quick serving. Special mention for Callum, Magenta well done hard working and always attentive for a couple of young people credit to Spoons

Visited this pub on a work trip over the easter bank holiday and i have to say the service was immaculate. Despite the staff being extremely busy and rushed off their feet they served with the best level of quality. I believe the lad who served me was called Callum and he aways had a smile when serving me and was brilliant when recommending wines and ales for our group. Both drinks i had were his recommendations and were brilliant !!

Went for breakfast, nice food, quick service….,BUT….when you expect mushrooms on your breakfast you expect more than 1 (yes just 1) small button mushroom….appalling. However, i assume this is all Wetherspoons, a big let down and in my opinion, a disgrace.

First time visit. Will be going again. Staff were very pleasant.
