So visited plenty of times before, also the one in Windermere. When enquiring was the pale ale the same as the Windermere branch I got a shrug of the shoulders from the girl behind the bar and I was told after a delay that it’s a different business and that the son now runs the keswick one. It showed! Place was really quiet, staff seemed dis-interested, shame really as numerous visits have been good! Oh well back to the Windermere branch of the same name! For a much better experience I hope (and free bar snacks)

Popped in for a drink at this wonderfully quirky pub whilst staying Keswick. A real gem of a place that offers something a little different in the way of drinks and and ambience. Lovely log burner and loads of doggy friends! We didn't eat however the food looked lovely. Will definitely visit again when in Keswick.

Highlight of my wife's birthday night away was this bar. Very unique and quirky with a good selection of unusual drinks. Recommend the arge pints of ice cold beers in ice cold glasses and different types of flavoured flat ciders tasty. We ordered the platter for two which was quite a good size but could of done with more meats and cheeses seemed to be more salad. My biggest disappointment was on the door it states that it closes at 1am on a Saturday. We returned at 11:45pm for last few drinks and was turned away by the bouncer inside the bar who said that they stopped serving drinks at 11:30pm. My wife asked if she could order a quick drink as it was her birthday, but bouncer said No which I felt was a bit tight.

How have we never found this bar before on our trips to Keswick? We ran in here to escape the rain on a wet and windy Saturday and didn’t leave for the entire evening! Wow! Super quirky bar with an amazing selection of beers and brilliant live music. We didn’t have food there but we will for sure on our next trip over.

Wow, yet again a great time had with friends, it was their first time visiting but it certainly won’t be the last. Loved the atmosphere, service, beer and deco but it was the absolute fantastic food prepared and presented by Anita that stole the show, amazing what she has developed in her kitchen. The menu is extensive but recommend the sharing platter and trio of pizza, more than enough for 4 people.

Visited last August with Family & Friends for the Open Mic night and a bite to eat. We all had a fantastic night. All the staff were excellent. Super friendly and helpful. Our sharing slate with Camembert was outstanding and Anita from the kitchen personally served it to us. She was super nice and clearly takes pride in her job. The selection of beers and wines was very good. The live entrainment was brilliant and the guys who organized it and played the drums were excellent Thank you all for a great night.

Crafty Baa managed a big group of us for my 40th celebrations. They were really busy but catered for us really well with great food and drinks and live music too. Great quirky baa, thanks again! 🥳 (dog friendly too👌)

Guys , constructive criticism here. If you are really a craft beer bar then be one. Half hearted at best. I had the house IPA and it was undrinkable. Can choice was incredibly disappointing. I’ve been in this scene for a long time, just decide what you want to be because you are not craft.

Small but perfectly formed. Great bar with good music playing, very quirky decor so lots to entertain the eye. Casual dining with sharing plates absolutely spot on.

I really wanted to like this bar and o can see what they’re trying to achieve. I love IPA but every beer we tried was bad. Just poorly kept and tasteless I think. Ended up with a headache made worse by the dreadful music. What a shame

Nice. Very busy but a cut above the normal bars in Keswick. Very good choice of beers and drinks. A bit cramped but it's only small

We'd been to this bar's namesake in Windermere before but not visited this one. We came just because a local singer was performing here. Plenty of choice of drinks - something for everyone. Great staff who managed the bar well when it was really busy. We really loved the seating area under the stairs - a really cool place for two people to sit out of the way!

Great selection of Beers and Ciders. Loved the fact they sold Mild, a Fav of mine thats hard to find. Deffo worth a visit, something for everyones taste. The Barman was really helpful explaining The choice of beers.

Quirky, and very interesting small pub with huge selection of unusual beers and whiskies. Good music, dog friendly, and has a log burner downstairs. Love the use of repurposed items to decorate.

We have been in the one in Windermere many times. And this time we were staying in Keswick for the weekend. We popped in a couple of times for drinks and a couples sharing platter. With cheeses, olives, meats and salad etc. there was 3 of us adults and the board was massive and we couldn’t eat it all between us. But the platter was lovely and would highly recommend. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and drinks are good variety. We enjoyed it and would go back.

We had family visiting and had a table for six on the covered patio which is now lit and heated. There was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Short blackboard menu but with good varied choice. We all had something different and everyone one proclaimed that their dish was delicious. Would highly recommend.

A big crowd of us were there yesterday for a special function. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating especially with the food which was a cold Buffett. What choices and excellent quality, dietary needs met for all! Never been before but I will certainly return to this lovely pub. Thank you.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

We chose this pub for a dinner because the place nearby where we were staying didn’t have enough choices on their menu. We all were very pleased with our portions and found them very generous (but couldn’t stop eating because they were so good). The waitress was very friendly too and provided good service. Thank you! When it was time to return where we were staying, we couldn’t get an uber or taxi back so very kind local man offered to drop us back!
