The best venue in London if you enjoy craft beer

Great stop when craving Sour beer and immaculate atmosphere. Nothing very affordable or session - friendly, but I will consider this a gem for a special treat

Having visited the Bear at Paddington, I tried this branch in Covent Garden whilst on a short break in London. A good variety of ales, it's smaller than the Bear. Helpful bar tender.

I have mixed feelings about the place. There's a moldy smell in it that's very prominent, but the beer menu is absolutely awesome. My choice was to drink outside, and I recommend you check it.

Friendly team but I really came here to say, and to celebrate, that they sold a mild!! If you see a mild, buy the mild.

I like this pub. The staff are all friendly and know their wares, and the beers on offer are cracking. The layout is the only thing that I would change as the area is quite narrow.

Lots of taps and choice but it is dark & you can never see what they are when people are at the bar. Quite pricey for the stronger stuff.

Wow - just loads of choice! The Craft Beer Co. doesn't look big, but there is more seating downstairs, and the choice in beers is so huge there is a menu you can pick from. The friend I was with had a Blueberry beer that was pretty much like syrup but it was hilarious to see him drink it. I had a couple of beers and a rather wonderful cider. It was all fairly laid back, the only downside being trying to get down the stairs with your drinks...!

Large choice of beers the ones I had were satisfctory/good,it was quite quiet but atmosphere was ok.

Very nice pub, I've wanted to try London Black for a while and it didn't disappoint. There are loads of options on tap so the selection was good. Many brands I'd never heard of which was nice. Roughly £7.70 a pint but that's average for the area.

Fantastic range of drinks, and (if you're there at the right time) super knowledgeable staff. First time there I was taken on a proper beer tour, excellent fun!

Bar staff are incredibly friendly and informative. We came in quite late but they seemed so happy to serve us and even happier to talk, the bar staff on at the night of 08/02/25 were unmatchable

Insanely good beer (especially if you're into your craft!!), great atmosphere, cosy. Guy behind the bar is VERY knowledgeable about his beer. Pricey for the more funky and rare beers but if you're an Untappd nerd you'll love it anyway. Great variety, super friendly, let us try a few before buying, go go go!

Staff are lovely, beers are great but this company is desperate to drive up craft beer prices as much as possible I know craft beer is expensive, and it's an expensive location, but I've had these beers at more reasonable prices in other zone 1 venues. I guess it's priced for tourists tho

Excellent service. The gentlemen I interacted with the evening of Dec 28th y the main bar were extremely professional and gave me many a recommendation for breweries in London. Phenomenal beer selection, but not enough barleywine/old ale.

About forty craft beers, if only I had more time I would have tried them all. In addition to the "classics" they also have an absolutely enviable selection of "seasoned" beers for sale

An absolutely fantastic find. 25+ beers to sample on tap.... Plus more in the beer menu. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. The Scotch Egg was pretty good too. Absolutely fantastic.

Great selection of craft beer. Taps seem to change daily. Friendly bar staff who let us sample beers before ordering and made great recommendations based on our taste. Seating is limited, but it's a welcome venue offering quality brews, amongst all the generic pubs selling Fullers, etc.

I had the pleasure of visiting this pub last night while passing through, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received. Charlotte, in particular, provided an outstanding experience. Her warm demeanor and attentiveness made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. The atmosphere of the pub was inviting, and the selection of drinks was impressive. Charlotte’s recommendations were spot-on, enhancing my overall experience. I have frequented many establishments in London, but the service here stands out as one of the best. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a friendly and enjoyable environment. Nice place, good atmosphere, very friendly staff. The basement is a good place for meetups as well. They have some very interesting beers to try - good even for those who are not much into beer. Some imports can be quite expensive (e.g. the very nice shrimps and bananas one was 12.50 a pint) - but you don't have to get those ;)

This place has potential, but I won’t be coming back, which is a shame as I live around the corner. It started well with a friendly conversation when we asked for their recommended IPA—it was good, but we were surprised to be charged £10.90 per pint. I don’t mind paying a bit extra, but a heads-up would’ve been appreciated since that’s far from a typical price. We then switched to lager, and it was honestly terrible. I’ve tried plenty of lagers before, but this one tasted off, likely due to dirty pipes. When I returned the three lagers, I was told this is how they’re supposed to taste. After some back-and-forth, I managed to get one beer free on my next order, an IPA, which still cost £9 per pint. I’m happy to pay a premium for good beer, but when the service is lacking and the quality is subpar, it just doesn’t add up.

This place… we asked for an IPA and paid GBP11 each. Next we just wanted a lager and got the worst dusty lager ever. We returned it and had to pay for some other IPAs instead, which they recommended: GBP 9 each! Avoid this place at all cost

£17.90 for two flat pints. one kernel pale and one pretty decent - not one of them is worth £9

I maybe got a bit too tipsy, but the staff had positive vibes only and I felt very welcome and had a great time as a solo traveler from Finland. This is the first place I have ever tasted a fresh tasting bitter, so I had a new experience with beer which makes the selection awesome! They also played great music, like The Space Oddity by David Bowie - no autotune bullshit, but amazing craftful music by real talented artists that sounded great! It was alright, went there before when I was in twenties with some girl and others having a brilliant time when the pride festival was finished. Now it’s been changed, I’ve becoming a different person, being independent, innocent man and staying safe.

I ordered 25 ml of Bowmore 18, they only send half of that, so I complained... your manager said this is normal for London!!!!! ...."if the 1/2 I paid is normal for you, I'll warn everyone here about it!... Very unfriendly manager, poor service from staff... stolen doses... pathetic!!! Attention Brazilians, when ordering a dose, ask that you do so in accordance with the local laws. Despite showing and arguing, these people use the goodwill of their customers to carry out small scams... I've been going to this pub for over 8 years and I've had small inconveniences, but they've never stolen in doses... on this last visit they did the It's unimaginable that only a farm joint would dare... a warning... I've already filed complaints with the consumer inspection bodies...

Bar with a large selection of beers and craft beers. Prices still remain high. The upstairs room is small and often crowded. The lower part is not very beautiful and lacks atmosphere. Impeccable service and advice!

Brilliant place for beer! Such interesting choices, lovely staff and they even allow you to bring in your own food if you want. Highly recommend stopping by for a pint or a few!

Good and friendly service. So many beers to choose from! We stumbled upon a ukulele get-together downstairs which was fun to listen and sing-along to. I'll be back!

This is a must place for beer lovers, they have real beers with good selection of strong beers above the local 4.325 , that served in most of location.

Central London isn't blessed with dedicated craft beer bars, so this feels like an oasis amongst the dreary chain pubs. Loads of taps, almost too much choice.

Extremely disappointed with service, took my family here, ordered over £30 worth of drinks only to be told as soon as we sat down that we need to leave as my 2 children weren't allowed after 6pm. I understand pubs have rules but they clearly seen I had kids whilst serving me. Great beer, terribly treated

A must for beer lovers. Unlike pubs that practically always sell the same beer, in this place there are 20 to 30 beers on tap plus all those available in bottles. If you like beer you can't miss a stop here. For the rest the place is both on the ground floor and in the basement (where there are also the toilets) but practically the people are only upstairs and it is therefore quite crowded and noisy. There is nothing to eat (small packets of nuts). Prices are a little high on average compared to those in the area.

Best bar for lat nights in Covent Garden, I had the pleasure of being served by Rachel who looked after me the entire night I felt welcomed and got to taste some amazing beers, would definitely recommend
