Lovely little pub, lots to choose from and the food is incredible, 3 courses for £12.99 was a really nice surprise also, the food on this menu was plated and cooked incredibly. Really would recommend I went for lunch on a Wednesday so it was nice and quiet, not sure what it's like in peak however

Never been here before but will not return. Had sirlion steak which was very chewy so had to leave most of it. Only one mushroom and the ring onions were not they were just fried scraps! chips OK. I complained to staff and asked for compensation suggesting a dessert which I got. Had to take my plate up to the bar as was waiting a long time for anybody to clear our table, my husbands sausage was not very well cooked also. Dissapointed not worth the money.

First time trying this pub, at a glance the pub is clean, and quiet for a Saturday evening. We ordered the tandoori chicken, ribs with Mac and cheese and a chicken, bacon and avocado salad totalling £68. The food came relatively quickly within 20 minutes but one order was incorrect and was supposed to be for the table opposite us. The server had at this time already left leaving someone else's food in our care unattended, she then came back to collect it and delivered it to the correct table. I am shocked at the lack of care this pub takes when handling food. I mentioned my concerns to the manager and she brazenly told me that no law prevented this practice. luckily for the other costumer, my nephew didn't sneeze or add additional seasoning to the wrong order because the absence of care from the staff her was abundant. We did eventually get the order correct but it just got worse. If you're looking for authentic tandoori this is not the place. It was dry, sour and the accompanying bread could remove a filing. The salad was ok but not nearly worth it's £12 price tag and if sub par food wasn't enough, you could always speak to the manager and that will be enough to make you never want to return. She did agree to refund the cost of the tandoori chicken but the service she gave us was so appalling that I wouldn't even consider a second chance. What a shame.

Awful service, lack of care when handling food. Manager is ok with food being left on the wrong table possibly tampered with and then delivered to the correct table, which is exactly my experience this evening.

Nice family friendly local but they don’t let dogs in so if you’re taking Fido then you’ll need to sit outside. But there are heaters outside so it’s not the end of the world.

Amazing sunday roast. I’m a firm believer that nailing roast potatoes is crucial to a solid roast and the Crabtree absolutely delivered on this front. Drinks were served cold and promptly, always ideal. And the staff were all incredibly attentive and chatty. Overall would highly recommend.

First time visiting the Crabtree. It seemed nice enough inside but we felt a little letdown by the food. The rainbow lasagne I had was either cooked too long or left under the heat lamp, but either way it was a touch dried out. It tasted better than it looked though. I was told that the other meal, the sausage and mash, also seemed a little dry. It was all okay, but I hoped for better.

Food was great and so was the service. One of the waiters even bowed to me.

Went to this pub for the first time for our anniversary, so it was supposed to be a romantic meal. We were Given a table next to a door despite making a reservation 3 days prior, so it was freezing cold every time someone walked in. The starters were small portions, the mains we both chose they couldn’t make so had to choose something else. I ordered a vegan burger that came out looking like a kids meal, it was tiny , and completely tasteless and with no accompanying sauces such a vegan mayonnaise. The salt containers were empty so we had to take one off another table and that was empty too. My husband’s meal was bland too. I had the biscotti dessert, sadly it was filled with nothing but whipped cream with half a tablespoon of ice cream that was already melted by the time it arrived at the table . Overall terrible, tasteless meal. I do not recommend.

Good enough pub serving standard pub classics well. Been here twice recently and only downgraded slightly as one of rhe bar staff ignored me to serve regulars instead and then just shrugged at me when I pointed out she had served two groups who had arrived at the bar after me. Shame because the lady who was on the second time couldn't have been more pleasant amd fun.

Popped into Crab Tree with inlaws as spurs of moment thing had lovely meal and Mathew the waiters was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again.

Great atmosphere for our staff party.

This pub use to be my local. We had our very informatl wedding reception there 50 years ago and decided to return. We invited a few friends and the evening went very well, the service and food were all great (we had the platinum buffet) at a very good price. All in all no complaints or reservations at all.

Another enjoyable evening at the Crab. We had food and drinks and did the quiz, as we have been doing for many years. Curtis and Jade working hard as usual making the whole evening a pleasurable one.

Great local, the food was lovely and Jordan was very helpful and patient with all our changes and requests. Can recommend the halloumi and chips.

Very good service and good. Only issue was that the cue to order was quite long and only one till was open, the lady was doing the job of 10, so props to her.

What a shame, should have been a special treat with family - but in fact we wished we hadn’t gone! We asked for a table by the window - which we got, but still very hot and stuffy in the restaurant. Venue looks scruffy. Dirty, sticky menus. Outside area needs a good sweep and clean! Not one member of staff acknowledged us … or smiled! We couldn’t use the QR code to order our meals, so we eventually ordered at the bar. No one checked if our food was ok. Our meals were fine, but the customer service in general, urgently needs improving before we would return.

Amy G was amazing today, she had amazing attitude, helped us with everything and made sure everything was okay!

The whole evening was extremely enjoyable. We had food and drinks. The food came promptly and was exactly as ordered even though we were a large group. The guys that served us were so helpful and welcoming. Curtis greeted us the moment we walked through the door and ensured we were catered for the entire time. Jade, Katie and Dara were also working at the time and made our visit an experience we would definitely recommend to others.

While having a spa break in Camberley we decided to venture out in search of a Sunday Roast. We stumbled upon The Crabtree and I have to say I’m glad we did. The staff where friendly and attentive Curtis who took our order was great and even came outside to make sure everything was ok. We ordered roast beef rib with all the trimmings, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings & a medley of vegetables. Along side this you are able to order extras We decided on roast potatoes & gravy, Yorkshire puddings & cauliflower cheese. We really enjoyed the food my only gripe was that the roast potatoes are similar to “aunt Bessie’s frozen roast potatoes” I think if the potatoes had been fresh peeled Oven roasties then I personally would give the meal 5 stars. I have to say the meal was really good value 2 roast dinners 5 sides and 2 pints of soft drink came in at under £50 which was amazing value for money. All in all. We thought The Crabtree was a great little find really nice welcoming staff all really friendly & smiley they couldn’t do enough for you. The overall look of the pub was nice, I’m thinking they have undergone a refurbishment recently And it’s been nicely done. Lovely garden to with ample tables and chairs we were able to eat outside seeing as the weather was warm and sunny. We would definitely return if we are in camberley in the future.

went in early Saturday evening as a party of 4, fir a start girl at the bar was totally disinterested and couldn't manage a welcome smile. went to the bar to order food, 4 different dishes and every one of them was not available along with a list of other dishes not available. We left. disgraceful that a restaurant should be short half the menu at mid weekend

Food was very tasty and staff were attentive and polite. Definitely would recommend to eat here.

Came here tonight (18th July) around 8:35pm and 7 people waiitng in que with one person behind bar serving tea and coffee which of course takes ages. This isn't the first time this has happened. It's a Thursday, hot weather. Your pub will be busy. Get some more staff!!!

Used them for a long time. Always pleasant staff. Clean and well maintained. Sadly does do Pub quizzes, but nobody is perfect. Parking spaces are a bit tight for larger cars.

I’m a frequent customer and l always find it very good to excellent. Amy and her team work hard to give very good service. The food is good always arrives hot which is a plus as far as I’m concerned. I last visited on Father’s which is a testing time for service but it was still very good. Thank you

It was a really busy evening in the bar. I enjoyed scampi and chips, woukd definitely recommend as generous portion of scampi. The bar man didn't stop he worked so hard and still managed to serve with a smile and exchange pleasantries.

Very nice small town pub with lots of room, comfortable tables, open fire place and lots of parking. Outdoor area as well. Reasonably priced menu with a varied selection. Great selection of beers on tap.

Booked a table for 2.15 and had to ask where the food was at 3.30! Very understaffed and also lack of enthusiasm from what staff were running the floor! Lady on the bar taking food orders and drinks was helpful and polite. The Sunday lunch wasn’t great, roast potatoes are obviously frozen with very little taste, veg wasn’t fresh, again frozen and they advertise half a chicken on the duo roast dinner and it’s only a leg of chicken which is accompanied by fatty gammon. Eaton mess has no meringue in it just loads of cream, ice cream and hardly any fruit. Overall, very disappointing for £115. Considering Sunday is supposed to be a busy day they didn’t have enough staff for the tables they did have booked and the quality of food was very poor.

Wanted to try, greeted pleasantly, seated quickly, only issue I can say I expirianced was the chairs was not good at all me and my freind both had issues with them, maybe some softer and or slightly bigger chairs instead of just wood, but other than that we still had a good time and enjoyed our food.

I celebrated my birthday with friends and family at The Crab on Friday, May 31, 2024. Our group of 13 had ordered in advance, and I must say the entire team aimed to please. The food arrived hot and freshly prepared, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Thank you once again for making all of our visits such a pleasant experience and for being such lovely people. ♥️ Lesley x

Order 2 meals. The main came as a starter when I queried it came back as the main half an hour later. Pretty certain it was the same thing returned as the main. Sadly the crabtree has gone down in my expectations once again. Probably won't eat there again.

It was my son's 21st birthday, the booking was for 6 , the food was OK, I'm sure we would all have enjoyed our meal if it wasn't interrupted by the young male on the bar that evening, he persisted to remind the whole table that he wouldn't serve them alcohol nor where they allowed up at the bar . Actually it was and absolute joke , everyone apart from myself had water only to drink . I ordered at the bar as soon as I arrived, this young man had said the same thing to me prior, I assured him that I was the only one drinking alcohol, that no-one else drinks alcohol, he persisted to tell me that they cannot come up to the bar , I further assured him that I would be paying in full and I would be the only one drinking and attending the bar . He had interrupted our family meal to repeat the same statement again . We all really did not enjoy our time there , it was rather embarrassing being reminded over and over for no reason. It's actually a shame as this is my son's favourite place to eat , we will never be returning and this young man should learn some etiquette and manners .

We held my Nan's wake here today. We were able to have food, drinks and share memories and photos as we wanted. The staff were accommodating, friendly and respectful. We could not have asked for more. Thankyou Crabtree staff, especially Amy!

The rib of beef was very fatty, so we ask if we could change it for chicken, which they did. The manager was very apologetic and said that she was going to report it to the supplier.

Such potential and yet falls short on every aspect. Most of the staff look and act like they do not want to be there. The one that cleared our table just grunted when I thanked him for clearing the table and no 'How was your food?' Food quality is pretty low, and is just thrown on the plate. Portion sizes are good but I didn't really want a large portion of poor food. Toilets we nice and clean. Outside wasn't nice. The tables and chairs looked like they hadn't been cleared of dead and rotting foliage for an age and were literally chained and padlocked together. Someone on the table next to us fell over said chain when getting up. H&S seems not to bother them. Think 'Wetherspoons' with higher prices and poorer service.

Staff friendly and helpful, food ok but probably wouldn't choose to eat there again. Just not as nice as other similar places. I had sausage and mash and found it a bit bland with watery gravy, chewy 'crispy' onions. The side of root vegetables was tiny with two slithers of onion in this mixed dish. Puddings were pretty good though.
