lovely place to stop for a quick bite to eat. staff are very friendly and attentive. food was delicious and everything is very reasonably priced 100% reccomend!

We came here after a friend told us what a great time they had so thought we'd give it a shot Sían and the team were lovely. Our drinks were great, food was fab.

We pop here just to have a drink but food looked and smell amazing so stay and had food what didn't disappoint either. To make this vist better the staff was amazing 2, so welcoming.

Ok. We had the senior meal deal for about £6.50. Two courses. It was fine, you don’t expect fine dining for that price but I was pleasantly surprised. We’ll probably go again.

Had a very lovely visit at The Crab Apple. Spoke to a lovely lady with red hair, didnt catch their name unfortunately. Very professional and polite, nothing was too much to ask for, and she was very helpful with my allergies and even recommended dishes for me. The food was delicious, even my nana who is a hard woman to please said she enjoyed it. Will be returning for definite. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Although a little down-market, we were very happy with the quality of the food and drink at A very sensible price. A convenient place to meet friends and we will be returning.

Been using this pub since day one, seen many a change etc over the years. Presently I think the landlady and staff are pretty well switched on, very helpful and attentive. Eating many a time to be honest never really faulted the food or service. It's a great pub and my kids have always enjoyed the outdoor play area and facilities. Myself enjoy the sort shown and the entertainment was always fantastic when I was the regular dj up to 2022.. Oh one concern is the brekfast meal. Can we have tinned tomotoes please no one likes grilled tomotoes these days. Lol. Awaiting the warmer weather and perhaps the pub could start some outside bbqs like previous times and make use of the outside bar to relieve the pressure on the main bar.. All things aside lovely pub and great atmosphere with some locals of great character..

Always love coming to the crab. Food is always amazing, great value for money and always good service. Staff are all welcoming and friendly, go above and beyond for the customers and the manager always goes out of her way to make sure customers are happy.

We visited last night to celebrate having an offer accepted on a house in the local area. Our children chose The Crab Apple as they've visited with another family member before. The food was great, we are a family of 5 and a meal and drinks for all of us was £38! Love the new drinks choices (Thatchers berries or lemon on draft!) and having a kids play area meant we could relax while they had fun!Brilliant service from Jordan and a lady whose name we didn't get unfortunately. We will be back very soon!

We decided yesterday to have a takeaway carvery, we've always had good food from The Crab Apple and they sure didn't disappoint. Greet food, it was nice and hot which makes a nice change as any other carvery I've had has been almost stone cold. Not here though. Tasty meat, veg cooked well lovely gravy I would be happy to drink that by the gallon! I've never ordered a carvery takeaway by filling in a form but the experience was simple enough and properly explained. Service with a smile, Jordan was friendly, informative and in general a jolly nice chap Many thanks I'm sure we will return again for another soon

Cannot recommend this place enough! Amazing children’s play area, very inviting and safe. Food service was superb and can’t fault the friendly, knowledgable staff. Great value for money. Very welcoming and safe space for all the family! They also provide second to none entertainment on weekends and we always have the best time. Perfect for date nights, nights out, family lunch, catch ups. Every occasion. Hats off to the staff at The Crab Apple, Clevedon for doing such a fantastic job!

Went here with my partner for the Euros final! Staff provided great service and drinks came quickly even though it must of been a busy night for them! Food was great and at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and helpful, will be coming back soon! :) Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great night for food and drinks in the Clevedon area.

Came in to watch the band last night and after 18 months of rules, it finally feels like we have pubs back, it was brilliant, staff were great and still super safe, great job

One of the best pubs in Clevedon! Cheap pints with quick service even when busy! Typical pub grub, good quality at a cheap price! Special mention to Lisa who made our visit a real pleasure.

Not a good experience ... You don't have to wear a face mask anymore was definitely the order of the day ... Wouldn't have expected this as serving food !

We had a fantastic time at the crab Apple in Clevedon on Saturday 18th July.It was a very busy night for the staff but they were all very friendly ,helpful and efficient.The food was first class and very good value. My husband had the Rib eye steak and said it was the best he had ever had.It was a birthday night out and the staff helped out with the birthday cake in spite of how busy they were.Excellent night out thank you to everyone.Liz and Richard Bessant.

Long overdue catch up with a friend, not all cocktails available, when we did choose one we were told no cranberry juice so couldn't have that one either!!Wanted wraps for lunch, no wraps available!! Very disappointed in the lack of choice, not like they have just reopened!! Wanted to stay local, waste of time!!

Visited late afternoon today to have a drink with a friend. Went in to ask how we ordered drinks seem as we haven't been there in a while to be told to download the app or there is table service. The guy doing the table service completely ignored us even though he walked by 3 times to ask others at different tables 'if they wanted the same again'. Finally downloaded the app after 20 minutes but struggled to select the drinks we wanted e.g lemonade & cranberry juice. In the end just settled for lemonades. Drinks arrived not completely full to the top. We moved inside as it was hot out to hear people ordering drinks at the bar & being served aswell as people walking through the bar with no facemask on / ordering with no mask on which was ignored by staff. Not a great visit. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Enjoyable evening watching the England football match. Great atmosphere. Very attentive staff and the chicken wings were lovely.

This afternoon we decided to go for a roast dinner and sat outside. We were told to await for somebody to come and take our order in which did not occur. We firstly went in and asked whether they would be able to take our order they said we must go back out and somebody would be with us now. 20 minutes later there still was nobody in sight so had to go back in again and find them. Luckily someone decided to arrive. We ordered our drinks which turned out to be wrong but decided not to complain again and deal with it. I feel that due to COVID they dont seem bothered as much towards their customers and is really disappointing as they were always really quick!

Visited this evening excellent food, staff especially Matt and Lisa and ambeance.. We enjoyed our meal.

Had a lovely senior meal deal prefect amount for me and my husband great chefs and good price Lisa was our waitress she was excellent with helping us read the menus nothing was too much for her will be back on our way to Cornwall again

Great atmosphere.... lovely garden with play area and flowers. Good priced food and drinks and service is quick when using the app which is usually how I order. Friendly staff and always available to help. Would recommend a visit! :) as suitable for all, night out with friends, family and children.

I visited the Crabapple on Tuesday 1st June 21 and was pleasantly surprised by one of the staff his name was Jordan , I work as a carer and was taking an 80-year-old man out for a drink as it was very hot , Jordan was very helpful as we had problems with the app he sorted this out and bought our drinks out , Jordan is a very pleasant man who desires a mention, The Crabapple is a very nice place to eat and drink

Hi I just wanted to say what a great visit we had here today. Not been to this pub before and didn’t know what to expect but the food was lush, we had a Carvery and our waitress was awesome thank you Lisa, it makes such a difference to have someone with as much enthusiasm and fun as you - love a happy server ❤️ we will be back!

It was so good to finally be able to go out for a Sunday roast! Huge thanks to Lisa & Sam for their brilliant service. Not only did we have a gorgeous carvery in the pub, but they went out of their way to wrap up a takeaway meal for me to take to my husband in Weston hospital. Will definitely be back!

First Carvery for a while and service hasn't dropped at all. Lovely waiter George who seemed quite new but very well-trained. I would give a 5 if the site was a little more attractive.

This was our first visit and it was really great. We were welcomed and shown to our lovely table in the window. The menu is vast and very fairly priced. My husband and I had choices from the two meals for £11-99 menu. I had the pie and he had the all day breakfast. My aunt had the rump steak and said it was beautifully cooked. The staff were really helpful. Will certainly return.

Myself, my partner and my old(ish) dad had booked a table at 5pm Saturday evening. We were met on entry by a friendly lady who escorted us to our table. Have to admit it was a bit noisy in the area that table 15 was situated and we were a little put out by the level of noise from other customers. We had been sat not two minutes when the same staff member came over and said she thought we might prefer to sit in a quieter area. We agreed and she promptly moved us. Really nice to see how thoughtful she was to our situation. I do not know her name, but, thank you.

On our visit we found the crab apple well organized for the current covid situation. We went for Sunday lunch and found it to be plentiful with plenty of meat and fresh veg,and all the usual trimmings. There was a well stocked bar, with a good selection of beers and spirits. Seating was comfortable with pleasant surroundings,and the toilets were clean. Booking is advisable as it does get busy, especially with social distancing. Would recommend.

Four of us came in for Sunday Lunch, it was very very nice, well presented and tasted lovely. Certainly good value for Money. The Staff were friendly and polite and very attentive. Well Done all. we will definitely visit again soon.

Walked in, no covid host, met be an exceptionally rude girl asking if we had a booking, when we said we didn't she said you'll find it hard to find a table not reserved, apart from the one immediately infront of us. The girl just walked off. No offer of menu, no explanation on how things in the pub. Can't comment on food as having been met in this way and being made to feel so unwelcome we decided to leave.

Had a Sunday lunch here today with family for the first time after there not being any carvery! Was great as always... tastes amazing and fresh. Lots of variety of veg etc and arrived piping hot... All staff are always helpful and welcoming. Will return and recommend.

So lovely to be back at our Local. The staff work really hard to make your visit enjoyable. You may have to pay and wait at your table for refreshments but it really doesn’t Matter what colour creed or sexual orientation you will be welcomed and cheers to all the team for welcoming us all back. Nice pub but I would like to know why when I go in there for a beer they won't let me take it with me to my table,but when the locals come in they order there beer and take it with them i have no problem with this except is it one rule for the locals and another rule for us,if I was black then this would be racist

Visited the crab apple with my husband, step son and grand sons. Had great service from the staff especially Bexs nothing was to much of a problem.

A friend and I met for lunch today at the crab Apple pub and were met by a member of staff called Rebekah. She was very energetic and full of beans. Nothing we asked for was a problem, she was very efficient. Thank you Rebekah x

Food very basic (think low end hungry horse) buuuut drinks deals and price and excellent and Bex lovely as our waitress - super friendly and welcoming.

This is my local pub which I visit regularly. Welcoming and friendly staff, particularly Aimee and Bex who are always eager to help as I have mobility problems. Good pub grub, reasonably priced. Nice pint of Tribute.

We use the Crabapple a lot, being the nearest to our home. Always a friendly welcome, Rebekah was a real star recently, made sure we enjoyed our meal there. It's not "Cordon Bleu", but as "Pub-Grub" goes, it's excellent, and real good value if you try the meal deals.

I lunched at the Crab Apple today and thoroughly enjoyed my meal there. The staff are friendlly and the food excellent. It is clean throughout the pub, including the toilets.

Sophie was an excellent barmaid. She gave outstanding service and was happy to help when needed. She made sure that we were ok and was polite.

Popped in with the father’n law for a cold one and a couple of gammons. Great service and food, Killiane was a great hostess, a superb experience.

What a great experience. Rebekah really looked after us for the 4 hours we were there. The hunters chicken toastie was to die for. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anybody thinking of visiting. Great service and lovely staff members.

In the 'suburbs' of Clevedon, the Crab Apple looks fairly grim from the outside; large car park & not much else. It's also fairly uninspiring inside, more like a transport caff, with a central bar with three surrounding areas each with a huge tv screen. Decor could do with an upgrade; several of the beers were 'unavailable'.

pints were good, pretty sure there is a human excrement stain on the floor, could be dog but unkown!!!!!!

Went to Clevedon for the day and passed The Crab Apple and noticed their adverts and decided to go there for some lunch. It was a Tuesday and it was very quiet and we were greeted by the young lady behind the bar (Sophie?) who was very welcoming and pleasant. We ordered two meals from the lunchtime specials menu, 2 for £10.99 which duly arrived and were delicious and excellent value. Can't comment on the beer as we are doing dry January, but would not hesitate to visit again next time we're in town.

On a chilly, damp, overcast dark grey day we received sunny smiles from the two young ladies behind the bar who brought us our coffees.

This pub is owned by a chain and the staff don't seem to be interested in helping the customers. The Food was average at best when it came out it was not consistent one was piping hot another cold will not return Beer was ok !

Not the most inspiring building from outside but inside its welcoming, friendly and most importantly serves an excellent carvery on Sundays...also have used it midweek during the day and equally good service. Nice play area for children outside too.

This is not a pub not even a pub for food this is a kindergarten full of rude single parent people looking for somewhere to dump there kids

We came to this pub for a family Sunday carvery and were not disappointed. Every member of staff was polite, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious (compliments to the chef) A choice of three meats, tasty roast potatoes and a good choice of fresh vegetables. Service was prompt and the overall cost was very reasonable. We would not hesitate to come here again. Excellent all round. Its a massive thumbs up from us.

We decided to pop out for some food as we live nearby. Dont normally go here but so glad we did. All 3 of our meals were great value for money. Lots of choice on the menu and a very nice waiter. Will definitely come back.

Came here on sat (13/7) with friends and family for dinner not to busy managed to get a table and order no problem. Then the food arrived it was terrible the gammon was very thin and badly burnt not ediable the eggs were rock hard frozen chips were all that could be eaten on the plate. Others had scampi similar problem again chips saved the meal. One of our group had mexician chicken with ancho sauce OMG it looked revolting when it came to the table in a bowl the only color was brown. One of our friends had a all day breakfast only to be told if you want mushrooms then that was a seperate order really !!!!!. What happened to the salad and the standard of the presentation NEVER again. The staff were really nice.

Walked into the crab, was greated by Hannah she was very quick to serve and even checked that what we ordered was what we wanted. The food was superb, every mouthful was even better then the last. Props to the chefs in the kitchen, seemed very busy but keen to work. Will be back

Our experience of the Crab Apple has always been brilliant, we've been more than 20 times, been for a lot of Sunday Roasts which you can also have as a takeaway carvery if you wish, I would recommend booking the day before a carvery just in case though, however when we have waited, it hasn't been too long.

To some the location of this pub in its built up location away from the seafront might suggest that it may not be as nice as others. You'd be wrong. I had the best steak Ivevhad in years at this pub. And the portion size and value are exceptional.

Popped in for a quick drink with the family. Asked for a pint of perioni. Took a sip and immediately asked if they had cleaned their lines as it tasted vile. Chef was behind the bar when it was mentioned and started saying “Bull****” what ever” “don’t care” that’s a great attitude to have. I won’t be coming back. Lazy pub, rude chef behind the bar..... I say chef, i think I insult chefs by calling him this, so let’s settle on cook.

Love the New menu, Stopped in tonight for an after work drink,food and relax. This was a great decision as amazing service from Chloe and Chris Lovely to have such a warm welcome,They both were spot on for friendliness and efficiency. Food was tasty and served hot and in good time. Well done to all the team.
