The pub is good, the problem has been throughout the winter months is that where we have sat it's very cold, so can't order food, and why should clients have to wear coats when your trying to relax with a drink Need to make it warmer

Nice pub atmosphere but the downstairs felt cold, better to sit upstairs. Good selection of beers. Easy place for a drink.

We went for Sunday lunch with family. The gentleman who served us initiallyseemed very pleasant he took our orders quite promptly but warned us that there will be a wait of at least 20 minutes as they were busy. This seemed a bit odd as the restaurant wasn’t exactly full.My first thought was at the restaurant was a bit cold and some of our party had to keep their coats on. I did mention it to the staff but nothing seemed to improve. Our orders were taken but when the food arrived instead of three roast beef lunches we were served one roast beef And two hamburgers.plus the two pork bellies I said we didn’t order hamburgers that we ordered the roast beef which necessitated it being taken back to the kitchen the problem was that we had to wait in this cold restaurant while the food was prepared which although only took about 5 to 6 minutes meant that some of our food was cold by the time we got to eat it.My beef was slightly overcooked and tasted like it had been reheated or something. It wasn’t too tough and the flavour was okayThe celeriac purée and the carrots were very nice. as was the Yorkshire pudding but the roast potatoes were not particularly crispy, the belly of pork was good. The cabbage was barely cooked and as I had not ordered stirfry meal it seemed slightly inappropriate with a roast lunch. The gravy was nice and the lady who took over the service was very efficient and friendly.

Our table was booked for 4pm and the food that the table next to us had served looked lovely but when we ordered ours there was no cauliflower cheese available, roast potatoes were hard and definitely had not been roasted,the pork belly had been cut into small pieces to accommodate the 4 of us who ordered this (very small compared to other tables), the beef tough and had been thinly sliced and put on a griddle so had a charcoal taste about it!! We mentioned it to the waitress and they didn’t charge us for the beef dinners but then when the dessert menu arrived most of it had sold out so there was only 2 choices left we ordered 4 rhubarb crumble and 2 treacle tarts but when the waitress came back they only had 3 crumbles left all in all not a good experience considering reviews I read before we booked saying food was excellent!! I asked what time the kitchen closed and was told 9pm so goodness knows what would have been served up if your table was booked after 5 as there was nothing left!!! Avoid booking after 3pm for Sunday lunch if our experience was anything to go by we definitely won’t be returning!

Absolute first class service , food & drinks Table of 10 Food came out all together , piping hot, by our waiter Daniel, superb guy, great sense of humour, very attentive. Will definitely return Big up Daniel x

The food and the service were excellent. Daniel and his colleagues were friendly and good humoured throughout and the meal and everything connected ran smoothly.

The customer service on the booking and lead up to the event was extremely good. Staff service on the day similar. However, the quality of food for our Christmas lunches was very disappointing and expensive considering the low quality.

This is the third time visiting The Cow in Stratford with my family and I and it's fast becoming an annual event. The staff are always friendly and the food is excellent. I personally like the steak but other family members have said their burger, fish & chips, ribs, steak & ale pie and plant burger were all excellent too. We have always been seated on the top floor, as a large group, so the ability to have a conversation is easy. The ground floor can be busy and on West Ham home games very busy. You can turn up on the day and get a seat but I would personally recommend booking in advance to guarantee your place. I definitely recommend The Cow for the food, service and staff as all are excellent.

Lovely place. Great staff. Fish n chips over cooked, batter over fried and very salty. Beef buger was. over cooked. Shame as otherwise we had a nice evening.

Apareció mientras iba de compras. Dos asados de domingo muy agradables excelentemente presentados y muy por encima de la media de la comida del pub. Buena selección de personal apropiado y amargado. Jóvenes Ismael y Vilay chicos muy amables que nos hicieron muy bienvenidos. No venimos a menudo a Westfield, pero cuando lo hacemos no vamos a buscar en otro lugar para refrescos.

Llegamos allí nuevo sistema tiene que descargar la aplicación para pedir comida. Nos sentamos y el servicio WiFi era realmente malo y tardamos siglos en descargar la aplicación, estábamos a punto de pedir nuestra comida cuando un miembro del personal bastante grosero se acaba de poner en nuestras mesas ( 2 ) y la siguiente pareja a lo largo sin decir una palabra cartel reservado para 1/2 horas de tiempo. Uno de nuestro grupo fue al bar a quejarse y también fue grosero diciendo que lo tomara o lo dejara, así que nos levantamos y nos fuimos. Nunca volvería a ir allí.

Good food, great service from Daniel. Good old fashioned smooth and tasty. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much!

The drinks here are priced as if it was a 5 star luxury hotel. If you're happy paying these prices then go to a 5 star luxury hotel. The food is also overpriced but not quite to the extend of the drinks.

Had sharing Camembert and then tomahawk. Both dishes were fantastic, the steak could not have been cooked better. Wine and beer choices were abundant and the ambiance was great until the football started and took over the restaurant. The volume was turned right down after a while to reinstate a more restaurant feel. We will come back here when visiting again.

Never experienced such shocking service before. Very unwelcoming and first waitress that served us gave the impression she really didn’t want to be there and was very unhelpful. Food terrible and undercooked and overpriced. When complained to the manager he sent a waitress to do his work for him and still expected us to pay some money for food we didn’t eat. Once he was brave enough to come and talk to us his attitude was terrible and tried to belittle me as apparently I don’t know how to cook a “big” steak !! Would not recommend visiting if you want food service and good food.

The decor has a traditional wooden feel with a modern touch. There are plenty of screens available for watching sport. The pub has a good vibe and tends to be quite busy. It is quite unique from the other venues surrounding it that are typical chain restaurants. The main issues are slow service and high prices. The service for being seen, served and paying can take a while. The prices are quite high for food which is fine at best. The highlight of the dishes was the chips with the burgers being quite oily. Therefore, the main reason for visitors seems to be for sport and the spacious room for seating.

My son and I visited the pub when we visited London seeking family, as we had not eaten all day and were both hungry we decided to visit the Cow we have been a couple of times before it's always been bust..however when we went was mid week and was practically empty so we got a table ..have to say the food was nice .. had to drinks each ..I did feel that drinks and food was over priced but as we aren't from the area we just think it's london prices ..

Came here for a roast dinner with friends on Sunday. The roast was nice, if not a little overpriced. However, my friend ordered the plant burger and it had items missing. The staff weren’t very friendly or helpful either. Probably won’t be returning to this overpriced average restaurant.

Had a good boogie at this pub at the weekend. DJ was pumping and the cocktails were flowing. Can recommend.

Poor is an understatement!!. You couldn’t make it up…Mac cheese was missing the cheese & amount of chips were ok for a 2 year old child, absolutely shocking. Complete & utter rubbish!!

Sterling service despite staff shortages and a raucous pre match crowd. Breakfast more than acceptable. Yep it’s not cheap but we felt it was reasonable enough for the location.

£6.50 a pint of cheapest larger , what a piss take! good working class West Ham fans being ripped off again in and around Westfield and stadium. Tip : drink in the local pubs around Stratford broadway ..

Visited again for belated birthday dinner, because last visited was disappointed from one of the waitress, dishes were delicious, this time - Nikola, excellent service, also, Janet from Sales & Marketing, Thank you again for your help.

Seated outside as busy inside. Just wanted a drink but long time to get served. Eventually had 2 rounds but too expensive.

Joined some friends for a colleague’s retirement do. It wasn’t too busy and therefore we did not have to wait for our drinks. The staff were were friendly and served us promptly. I liked the decor as it has a rustic appearance and the ambience too was good. I recommend it and would visit again.

This was a one of the first outing after lockdown and sadly not quite what you had in mind. Seating was very poor We were seated between some VERY loud people and the restaurant was quite empty and we had to shout to actually have a conversation Service was very mediocre We had to ask for salt / etc. Food was cold , no apology was made Have been to this restaurant before but this trip was quite disappointing considering some of us have not really had the opportunity to get out since COVID

Terrible we arrived at our table, I explained to the guy the app was slow to download on my phone can I order a drink, he said sure I will be with you waited 25 mins longer no sign of him, a lady come over...

Fabulous. The team made us all feel very welcome. We were slightly early having been to the Copper Box arena beforehand. Standard fare menu. The burgers looked excellent and can recommend the fish.
