Although the staff were clearing up as it was few minutes before closing. They kindly served us with hot drinks and delicious scones. Very reasonably priced and in a lovely location, we were very grateful to these kind busy people.

Having been here a few times over the years,we went on our weeks holiday and we’re not disappointed at all we were 5 adults and my grand daughter. The food was all really nice and they were very accommodating with my granddaughter who had cheese on toast which she loved. You have to order yourself inside then they bring it out to you.It was a lovely day and we sat outside.Look forward to going there again next year. The prawn sandwich is a must on brown bread it was delicious.

Stopped off for a short break during the long drive to our holiday. Had a lovely cheese and ham toasted sandwich with salad and crisps. The best I've tasted in ages. Washed down with a lovely large pot of tea. All the staff were really friendly..quick and efficient service too. Sat in the outside area to do a spot of people watching! Highly recommend it for value for money.

Visited for a hot drink. Both of us visiting have been or are in catering.Very good service from lady in black blouse/skirt making sure we scanned on NHS track and trace and guided us to a table. However fortunately or unfortunately our table was right by the serving counter for cakes, preparation of hot drinks. In between preparation of hot drinks the uninformed past was busy eating her lunch , a Tuna sandwich. We know it was Tuna as my niece found a flake of tuna on her hot chocolate spoon( thank god she isn’t allergic to fish/ seafood).Never once did she wash her hands in between eating her food, serving hot drinks and then going out to clear outside tables .We both felt we couldn’t say anything as the uniformed lady who was professional and made sure we scanned our NHS app and made sure we safely sat at our table would have been offended. However I will never visit again. Such poor hygiene from the lady preparing drinks and eating in between and then sending to tables.

Stopped off on a day out for a bit of lunch, our first trip out post lockdown - choice given over seating inside or out, all tables spaced out to allow ample distance between them/other customers. Service was quick, food was lovely and very good value and the cafe is tucked in a corner so again no concerns as to the environment.Tables were cleared and sanitised as soon as customers left, staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely return.

Went here for a quick lunch and had a lovely bowl of homemade soup. This is a really unpretentious, nice little cafe. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Cakes looked amazing as well but I didn’t try any as am trying to be good after Christmas!

Wonderful homemade scones, fruit and cheese, baked daily, often several batches as demand is high, homemade cakes, soup, cottage pie etc.For such a small kitchen the output of food is amazing and of great quality, plus the usual tea's, coffee ,hot chocalate, and cold drinks, you can even enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your meal. The staff are very polite and helpful. What some of the larger chains could learn from the team at The Courtyard Coffee Shop

I took my dog to meet my elderly mother (easy to access disabled parking). We sat out in the courtyard. It was informal and the surroundings are pleasant as they are well away from the road. I had a decaffeinated americano with hot milk. Good value for money. Staff were friendly. I will visit again.

Popped in for coffee and toasted tea cake which took a while to arrive but when it did it was fine. The kitchen which was on view was very small and full of used crockery including the wash hand basin but what we had was satisfactory if a little on the small side. I had a milk shaek and the other half a fruit juice in a small glass

Nice cafe generally, but had a long wait for our easy cold snack lunch to arrive. One of our meals was only a cold sausage roll and cheese scone and we had ordered a pot of tea for two. Don't quite know why it took 25 minutes to serve this easy option. I think to improve the wait i would have at least expected the pot of tea to come before the food so at least we had something to drink while we waited. It was quite busy though and we expected a bit of a wait but not 25 mins for snacks which were already prepared. It was good value for money however and the food was nice.

We regularly call in this cafe for a cofee and scone. The scones and cofee are very good and prices very reasonable. The outside seating area is pleasant in summer months. Perhaps there is an opportunity to make this area useable when weather is cooler ? They do meals but we have yet to try them.

It was after 2pm when we decided to have some lunch at this Coffee Shop. I made it clear to the waiter (Mike) that no butter was to be put on my sausage bap, as I cannot have any Dairy products. Unfortunately, this request was not passed on to the chef, so I got a buttered bap. When I attracted the attention of a member of staff, who appeared to be the proprietor, she came over, one hand on hip which my husband and I thought a bit intimidating. She just took everything away, with semi-bad grace, and without listening to my explanation. However, eventually I did get an unbuttered sausage bap. It may well have been a long day for her, but we felt her behaviour was rather unacceptable. More than that, they didn't have any soya milk either. My husband wanted egg sandwiches, but was told they weren't available. We were charged £10 for lunch, including drinks etc., but felt it should have been less, given the problems we had. Also, we noticed that half the tables inside had not been cleared, and flies were settling on the crockery. The table nearest to us was an example, it was littered with crockery when we sat down and still hadn't been cleared when we left the Coffee Shop. I think the problems I have outlined do need to be addressed.

Comments from our group included "very tasty food", "very clean and tidy", "good cup of tea and sausage roll" and "brilliant food". The café prices were very reasonable and it is rare to find somewhere to get a drink and something to eat for less than £3.

I usually go to a different coffee shop for lunch every week. However the bacon sandwich I had with my family has made me want to return. I didn't have to wait long to be served and was greeted with a smile and a jolly atmosphere. Pricing was also good value - much better than doing it yourself! And tastier too! They were also willing to accommodate off menu dishes if they can, (dietary needs). Will definitely be returning.

Have used this cafe may times and enjoyed the friendly welcome and value food,. Yesterday's visit was quite different however - ordered two teas and was told there would be at least a 30 minute wait... or more! No reason was given - there were empty tables so I assumed staff were not fully ,stretched, but simply not interested in providing service. I did report this by email and to be fair received a call the following day from the owner explaining that 'they had run out of hot water, the staff were inexperienced and one member had not turned up for work.....Draw your own conclusions... you may get served but don't be surprised if you don't.

Food was ok, but unfortunately the same could not be said for the staff. They did not appear to be able to smile!!!They were more interested in standing around talking to each other and eating and drinking whilst serving customers, and yet the majority of the tables needed clearing. Needless to to say we will not be returning or recommend them...

They have recently redecorated and replaced the tables and chairs and it looks really great inside. They have added skylights now so whereas it felt a bit dark before it now feels lovely and light. Surprisingly the prices have stayed the same as before, as some places put their prices up to pay for a new look. The staff always remember us and are really friendly. They always make conversation. They are happy to adapt the menu where possible to suit us and the food is always delicious.I am surprised by previous reviewers commenting on how unfriendly the staff are, as we have always found them to be the exact opposite.

We generally visit this coffee shop once or twice a week as the cakes are nice but the ladies are so unfriendly and don't smile. Food was very well priced and was typical cafe food however the lady who served us had nil customer service skills. Couldn't smile once and did not engage in conversation which Is a massive part of running an eaterie - wont be rushing back. We have been coming here for several years, visiting one or two times a month. They offer a wide choice of baguettes, rolls, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and cakes. They also serve main meals at reasonable prices with a good choice for vegetarians. It is nicely decorated inside and always looks clean. The staff are all very friendly. There are tables and chairs outside, which is nice in the summertime, weather permitting. It can get busy here, sometimes on a Saturday all the tables can be full, so you do have to try and time it right. We wouldn't visit Wymondham as much as we do, if it wasn't for this lovely place.

A Roasting Good Time This little pub is a hidden gem. Their roast dinner is the stuff of legends. The meat is cooked to perfection, the veggies are spot on, and the Yorkshire pudding is fluffy and golden. The gravy? Divine. If you're a fan of a good roast, this is the place to be.

Such a wonderful place. The cakes and pastries are absolutely top notch. Also, usually find it difficult to get decent coffee in this country, but the coffee in Teles Patisserie is so good, really rich and flavoursome. Realky friendly people too. I'd fully recommend a visit.

My first time back for 6 years when Carorline still used to serve the "Naughty breakfast" in their old premises across the road. Now replaced by 3 others which includes the "Large breakfast "which is a feast. Consistent quality over three visits in a fortnight & a lovely warm welcome every time. Worth a trip all the way from Africa.

Dreadful ‘brunch’ experience Extremely poor customer service, one menu for 3 people, lack of interaction and information with a misleading menu. States they had a ploughman’s sausage roll which when we order we were told it wasn’t available. No signs as to what the cakes were, asked, the one we wanted although there were some on display were then ‘unavailable’ Ordered 2 diet cokes as husband is insulin controlled diabetic, 2 large glasses of coke arrived, I took a sip, and questioned what coke it was to be told she had indeed served us ‘normal’ coke….potentially very dangerous!! When the diet cokes then did arrive they were half the size of the original ones… There was also no ice. Cheese scone ordered, arrived dry and solid. There were only 3 other people in the cafe besides us 3, and we waited a ridiculous amount of time for food and drinks. When the toastee arrived rather than walk an extra few steps she lent over the banister, and 2 of our party to pass to me at the far end of the table when she could of just walked round and put it down in front of me. Overpriced and food disappointing compared to other local cafe’s. This was the first time we had visited and it will most definitely be the last. Give this terrible establishment a very wide berth!
