Popped into here on a recommendation while cycling. Lovely hidden spot with great cakes and coffee. Bike friendly with lots of bike parking, pumps and spare tubes. Would definitely recommend a stop here!

The Courtyard cafe is an amazing place where the staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The best part is that it’s dog friendly! The last thing I would like to say is that the food tastes amazing especially the toasties and the paninis. If you live around I recommend that you should definitely go here for a lunch/ brunch. I always have an amazing time when I go here. 🐾😊

Not only was the coffee perfect but the fudge cake was amazingly delicious. the incredibly friendly staff especially to a nine strong group of cyclists was so welcoming. The amazing owner even helped me angle grind off my bike lock which had seized, such a great set up and utterly brilliant place to find

Enjoyed a drink here on a couple of occasions whilst staying in Sherston. Very friendly staff and could enjoy sitting outside.

This little cafe is tucked away in Sherston but worth looking for! We much enjoyed tea and cake here during a cycle tour of the Cotswolds and the proprietor was friendly, welcoming and made time for a chat. All much appreciated; thank you.

A second visit here, mimicking my first; both on the bike, and both for coffee and cake. The cafe is a simple - yet effective establishment with welcoming staff, fresh cake, and one that caters to cyclists in the sense of bike racks for cyclists. Would definitely give this one a recommendation, and I'm sure I'll be back at some point myself too. ☺️

Stopped at the courtyard cafe midd ride for a coffee and cake. The experience was completely different to my last visit. Had a cappuccino and date cake. Service very friendly and the owner even took the time to talk to us about his awning. Coffee was one of the best for a while and date cake was delicious. After giving the courtyard a second chance I will definitely be stopping here again for a coffee on a ride.

First impression : cluttered confused as to where to sit, no acknowledgement when we walked inside the cafe. Staff chatting amongst themselves, no real interest in us as customers. Coffee weak. We were going to have some cake but due to the lack of interest in the staff we decided not to. Drove from cirencester to try this cafe, waste of money. Rarely feel compelled to write a bad review but this cafe deserves it!! Please staff don't chat so loudly that customers can hear what you are saying.

This is a relatively new cafe in the beautful cotswold village of Sherston. A great setting with tables inside and out so you can choose depending on the weather. Great coffee and cake served by friendly young staff. Inside there is a small gift shop where you can find some unique crafts from local artisans or some environmentally products. Would highly recommend :-)

Planned to stop at Courtyard cafe half way around a bike ride as it was well placed for the stop. The ordering of the coffee was chaos. Staff didn’t seem to have much of a system. I’ll be brutally honest the first cup of coffee I was given was on a par with Costa coffee - tasted like dishwater. I did ask for extra shots which were obliged, however the initial cup just wasn’t good, Had walnut and coffee cake, once again not great. I feel that this coffee shop has a captive audience and just doesn’t compare with many other places I stop on bike rides for a coffee and cake.. Next time I will most likely keep going to Tetbury.

Great cafe for cyclists. This place has bike racks and a safe courtyard to leave them in or you can sit outside. Coffee is really good. Only thing that could be improved is cake selection and quality.

Met with a friend and felt very at ease with the friendly young staff. The drinks and cake were nice too! But a woman who was obviously the owner, who arrived half way through our trip, had a confrontational and inhospitable attitude that completely dampened the vibes for us. It was too uncomfortable for me to ignore, for that I wouldn't go again when visiting this area, hence the poor rating.

We had a celebratory family lunch for a diamond wedding anniversary and the food was great and very tasty but what made the occasion extra special and to be remembered forever was Kes’s service. Right from the welcome to goodbye her attention to detail and warmth was exemplary and a real lesson in the art of service. Great service is the real difference between good pubs and great pubs and Kes has it in spades.
