Lived in Cheltenham all my life thought I would go in the Cotswold for a quick pint after work I walk in & some Swindon fans in front of me no trouble the chap behind the the bar refused them saying there was a gas leak so they had to leave but didn’t tell anybody else to leave then I went to get served & he refused me as well so rude all muscles no balls mate only wanted a quiet drink don’t judge people certainly won’t be going back now better places to go no wonder it wasn’t very busy with people like that 👍🏻👍🏻

My fave pub in Cheltenham sadly was closed for a while because of flooding while I was there, great entertainment with bands and weekly Karaoke.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Cotswolds Inn in Cheltenham, and I can confidently say it was the best pub I’ve ever been. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, thanks to the incredible staff. A very special shoutout to Eden, who was the most friendly and welcoming person I’ve ever encountered in any pub. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made my visit truly memorable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the drinks were top-notch, and the overall vibe was just perfect. If you’re in Cheltenham and looking for a place with great service and a fantastic ambiance, The Cotswolds Inn is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!

It’s a bit rough and ready, but a great music policy and everyone’s friendly. Quite possibly the best barmaid in Cheltenham too.

First visit to this pub, so good we abandoned the planned pub crawl. The beer is excellent, very welcoming, excellent piped music and will return.

Brilliant friendly atmosphere, staff friendly and welcoming. Great night had by all. Also a great venue for live music on Friday and Saturday nights, Wednesday is karaoke night and Thursday is quiz night so something for everyone to enjoy.

One of only 2 pubs I really use on a regular basis in Cheltenham. Food, staff and atmosphere are absolutely top notch. You can't fault the place.

I was in Cheltenham for 3 nights for the November Racing festival. The Cotswold was just by my guesthouse and was I glad I ventured in there. On the Thursday it was quiz night, quite busy & full of locals. Very friendly people and set me up with good vibes for the weekend. After the horse racing on Friday I was in again after dinner. Man what a great atmosphere, a mix of racegoers & locals. Live music was on, with 4 lads taking shifts on stage. Andy, Gaff, Jake & Bobby. These guys know how to play the crowd. So many good singalong songs, from 90's indie to the Jam, to Tom Petty even Spandau Ballet a whole range of music. The punters lapped it up & the atmosphere was electric. Saturday was the same but bigger as the downstairs cellar bar was open too with music down there too. Natalie the boss & her crew are spot on. Friendly & didn't miss a beat all weekend. If Carlsberg did pubs this would be it!! Oh & the Guinness was spot on too!!

Great venue for sport viewing and live music

Popped in here on a whim from a night out in town. Our last night . The pub was within walking distance to our Hotel. Just as we arrived the band was leaving. Didn't know what to expect as we were visitors but was pleasantly surprised. Only had one person serving, that is not a criticism but boy did she work. The customers seemed to be all locals but made us feel very welcome. In fact we joined them and spent quite some time chatting. Both my son and I were very impressed with the pub and especially the person serving. So much so we thanked her for all her hard work. Woukd definitely recommend going. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Super friendly pub. So cheerful and happy. Just £5 card so beer at £4.60 i had. Live band friday and Saturdays.

Popped in for one pint after a meal at turtle bay, bar staff pulled the pint then said it was £5 minimum card payment lol, never seen or heard of that in a pub in my life, it’s not a corner shop!

Had a funny New Years Eve there, so only lots of drinking, no food sampled. Everyone there was very friendly, the visitors looked out for each other.

Amazing live music from the Open Mic, really good to be able to join in with everyone and have some fun. No lock on the men's stall but oh well, still a good place for some rock and roll and whatever else is being played. Huge thanks to Olly for arranging the OM, I'll definitely be back

Great live music, buzzing atmosphere, wide range of drinks, extremely friendly locals and literally all of the staff are marvellous.

Pulled a great pint, nice selection of beers and ales, barstaff were brilliant and efficient, and the music was mostly all the biggest hits of the last 30 years which we enjoyed

Pub of the Year from the BID, a genuine local of a type now dying out. Great staff, good customers, live music and the famous quiz on Thursdays. Talk to the often raucous locals and you will soon make friends: one of the safest places to drink in town, despite appearances at times! ;)

Live music was good. Diamond in the rough - good atmosphere with an eclectic mix of people. Bar staff very welcoming and patient. Literally down the road from a fast food place too. Near the brewery and centre of Cheltenham - they've got it all right here. Try the wasabi nuts!!!
