The Cosy Corner in East Lindsey

A nice local cafe, we visited for breakfast, felt like a family owned place and staff work really hard to accommodate you. It was cash only, there was cash point next door, so be mindful before going. Food felt very homely, much needed before a day out exploring.

This is my second visit here and this time with partner and grandson. The owners and staff were once again family orientated and nothing was too much trouble for them, the place was clean tidy staff also well presented as for the meals perfectly cooked hot well presented prices reasonable any travellers travelling to skegness this is perfect for a family meal, couples or on your own please try here 1st as you won't be disappointed cannot wait for 2025 . A big thanks for everyone from owners to staff for making us feel part of the family

Two of us went in at lunch time for a fry up and although we had a pram and the place is small and cosy we were welcomed nicely and seated straight away. Service and food were both excellent and prices were of great value. Will definitely be returning in future.

The cosy corner cafe is a lovely cafe with friendly staff and brilliant food ,I have a nut allergy and asked the front of house if any nuts are used in the meal i chose they informed me what I can have and also asked the chef/owner the exact ingredients he used, to double check. We all had a extremely delious meal and enjoyable experience, we advice people to visit this cafe because we will definitely be returning

From the minute you walk in you are made to feel very welcome especially when Michelle is on. Although all the staff are lovely. Service is quick and always with a smile, All the food we have tried on the menu is lovely, always hot very tasty all cooked to perfection.. The portion size is a very good portion. The prices are very reasonable. The desserts are lovely as well. We love coming to this cafe. Thankyou to you all for providing a great service to us.

From the out side you would this pass by if you are not from Skegness , However after being recommended by our friends we thought we would give The Cosy Corner a try, The inside is very nice and clean the staff also very welcoming , The breakfast we had was also good, the only negative is the sausage is not a Lincolnshire sausage unfortunately theirs was very bland, saying that i would have no hesitation in recommending this eatery.

Went to the Cosy Corner with an open mind, after seeing all of their great reviews. We was not disappointed, family run restaurant with lovely staff, and the food was excellent. Could not fault anything. It's nice to see a business striving to provide the best for their customers. Well done, don't change a thing. We will be back.

Great food amazing service. We visited this wonderful cafe for breakfast and although we all ordered different things ranging from scrambled egg on toast to a large breakfast it all arrived together piping hot and freshly cooked. The value for money was so good that I challenged the young lady who served us and asked if she had charged me enough. The next time we are in Skegness we will definitely be back.

A good clean friendly cafe. Good food and staff are great. Reasonable prices. Good seating easy to get in, not far from railway station. Walking distance from seafront about 10 mins.

As soon as we walked through the door we was met by a friendly smiley lady, I follow the Keto way of eating(no sugar, low carb) and nothing was too much trouble! The food was lovely and hot and cooked to order, very tasty too, it was a proper treat, both my husband and I couldn’t fault the breakfast absolutely lush! We both said we will def be back again and are going to come back once a month for a little treat! Keep up the great work!

I have just left this cafe and I just have to leave a review straight away. The reviews this cafe have gotten, are thoroughly deserved. Had the winter special 2 for £12 I had the Ham, Egg & chips with beans as it was gluten free, it was proper ham & the egg was runny as requested, hubby had the Turkey & ham pie with chips & peas, good portions especially for that price & cooked perfectly such brilliant value, followed with fresh fruit pavlova gluten free for myself & apple crumble & custard for hubby, delicious, and served by lovely friendly staff!

Good as ever. nice meals in week, excellent Sunday dinner, great staff very friendly. Well set out tables, lots of people taking home the cheesecake I noticed.

This eatery is amazing! Yes it is a short walk from the centre but is well worth the effort. We hadn’t been to Skegness for quite a few years so we didn’t know where to eat. Looking at the reviews we gave it a go. So here we go… decor✔️warm and friendly greeting ✔️cleanliness✔️quality and quantity ✔️price✔️customer service✔️ We have been back again to Skegness 4 times and have always had breakfast here. Locals are always in so that’s a good sign but all customers are treated equally. We always ask for no tomatoes and I’m convinced that the chef doubles our bakes beans to make up for it! Give it a go you will surely be impressed.

Lived in skegness a while now and tried all the food places, and got to say this is one of the best I have eaten from. Very nice staff, gd service food was on point, not like some places just slapped together and greasy. I think this will be my new breakfast spot,they make a lovely cappuccino. Makes me feel like I'm at my nans would defo recommend anyone to go visit. ☺ LSH

We visited here for a quick breakfast before heading home from our holiday in Skegness. Our only regret was not visiting sooner so we could come again! Lovely service with a smile, the decor was nice and clean and you can feel the level of care put into the place. Great value for money too with large portion sizes. Will definitely be visiting again when we're back in Skegness.

Absolutely lovely food and fantastic value. Very friendly staff, who seem to go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. The locals don't even need a menu as she knew what they wanted as soon as they came in.

Went here on the first day of opening. Food was lovely but drinks was very watery. Even though the food was great I found that asking people to pay while they was eating is a definite no no.

Best value for money that I’ve found. Friendly staff if you leave there hungry it’s your own fault. Owner Michal is a great cook and the service is quick, also during lockdown he has done a great phone order and a delivery service for meals at home around the Skegness area. I’ll be back next time in Skeggy.

Visited Cosy Corner today for first time since it could reopen, having had excellent take out meals through out the lockdowns, given a wonderful warm welcome from the staff, the food was great as usual, Michal does know the meaning of small portions, absolutely great.,

What excellent food, such a generous portion of exceptional lasagna no room for dessert! Very quick friendly service, very good value for money, so welcoming will return for dessert and coffee another time

After looking around to see what places a visiting couple could have breakfast we chose the Cosy Corner. We got there at about 9 am and we sat outside as per the current rules. The tables and chairs outside are under the canopy so none of the weather can get to you. We ordered and the cooked breakfast arrived quickly. The portion size was great and the cost was even better. The waitress was very polite and very helpful. The cafe is CASH only but there is an ATM about 50 yards up the road. THe two breakfasts and drinks came to just over £12 which is great considering that is one meal in most places!

This place has the best breakfast in skegness!! The dinner menu is also fantastic I have only had the fish but it was delicious!! It's very clean and welcoming and the staff make the place.

Wow what a busy little place! We arrived for when they opened at 8.30am and within 10 minutes it was full. We ordered a big breakfast each £5.50 and it was huge, 2 sausage, loads of bacon, mushrooms, hash brown, 2 eggs, (we asked for no black pudding) fried bread, baked beans and tinned tomatoes. Plus it came with a plate of toast with butter and selection of jams! To say we were stuffed was an understatement but it certainly kept us going all day ! We had a pot of tea and milky coffee to wash it all down lol ! All for the price of £14 in total ! Excellent value. Service was good, faster than I expected and a nice clean environment. Great place and would eat here again that’s for sure.

I was on the way home with my grandsons from a Butlins weekend break and needed a good hearty breakfast. We could not have done better for food, service or the price. This is a lovely cafe and all the boys (and me) enjoyed the food. And the coffee was good too! Thank you.

Don't usually go to the same place every day for breakfast whilst on holiday but we were very impressed by the whole experience. Friendly staff that couldn't do enough for you . Excellent food and very reasonable prices .

Had several Sunday dinners delivered through lockdown. Everything was spot on. We all know that times have been very different and difficult lately but it hasn't stopped the fantastic service and food from here.

The reviews say it all .... excellent!Made a reservation for our Saturday morning breakfast and we were allocated a very nice window seat. Service was spot on, efficient and friendly. The medium size breakfas was more than ample with plenty toast and jams. Great value for money and look forward to calling again next time we are in town.

My husband and I visited on Thursday 30th August, first time here, we sat outside and really enjoyed a bacon and egg bap each and 2 excellent lattes. Will certainly be visiting again, very friendly staff and value for money

What a lovely place. Asked an Facebook Messenger if we needed to book. Reply came back very quickly,I Was advised to. So we’d booked a table. We had all booked various breakfasts. When they came they were piping hot and very presentable. The food was delicious and not expensive at all. The staff are so friendly and chatty, especially to their regular customers. I will definitely recommend this place and will return to eat here again.

We visited on Friday 17 July 2020 and as usual the food was excellent He does the best breakfast in Skegness and at a reasonable price. Staff are always friendly and polite and even though they are slow at making the drinks the friendliness and excellent food makes up for it. I would definitely recommend to anyone

What brilliant service you get here. My wife is in a wheelchair, they don't see this. They treat her an individual and make her feel very welcome. We visited twice whilst on holiday tried the breakfasts, lasagne and pies and could not fault any of it. The food was fast and delicious. The service was very friendly and efficient. The customers are all very friendly too this place has a lovely atmosphere. The decor is cosy and nice. The price of everything is unbelievably cheap for such good quality produce. Went this cafe twice we were in Skegness visiting relatives my brother in law and mum in law.They visit the cafe regularly told how nice the food is.I must say the breakfast was excelllent best one in Skegness can’t fault it.Its lovely and cosy and clean staff are wonderful and friendly.We visit Skegness regularly and will make sure we have our breakfast there many times.

Had steak pie chips and peas here plus capaccino, excellent. Steak pie was home made plenty of filling very tasty nice pastry, chips crisp and hot gravy jug was a good size no itsy bitsy jug that I find annoying other places. Cappachino really good, best I have had in a cafe for a while. Partner had egg chips toast and was also very happy. Friendly efficient hardworking staff. It deserves to do well, there are some really cute touches like the piggie salt and pepper that just tip it over into quant and an enjoyable place to be. The place is spotless, including loos. Reasonable prices. Well done to them big thumbs up from us.

Visited twice for breakfast this past weekend when on a short break to Skegness. On both days, the staff member was welcoming and attentive. Another customer, sitting close by advised that ‘everything on the menu is good’ and we were not disappointed. Tea/coffee was delivered a few moments after our order was taken and our food, delivered a short time later was fresh, hot, cooked well and well presented. The fresh coffee was also good. Overall, very impressive and great value for money!

A Very Warm and friendly welcoming atmosphere as soon as you enter the door, Pleasant decor, Nothing was too much trouble, excellent table service. The food was very tasty, cooked well. Substantial portion sizes. We will definitely be returning on our next visit.

Really enjoyed coming to the cafe. This is a very special place indeed. The staff were really lovely and kind considering we had our young kids with us whom were not that quiet. We called in today for the first time and tried the 3 course Sunday lunch and have to say it was gorgeous. We had garlic bread with cheese, beef dinner which we think is one of the best we have ever had and finished with homemade cheese cake. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome, so we are definitely going back.

Found out about the cafe on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. So much we went there twice over our weekend away. The cafe was clean, food was excellent and all staff very friendly. Will definately go back again when I next visit Skegness.

Called for breakfast, omelette with ham an mushroom was freshly prepared with plenty of fillings, served with beans (quality ones too). Latte was perfect. Plates and cutlery were spotless and all served with a smile, shame I cant give more than 5 stars.

Used Trip advisor and this was number one. Clean and fresh inside. Smashing service with a smile. Breakfast was excellent, and presented lovely. Toilets immaculate. That's why its number one. Excellent!

I visit here only once a year on my trip to Lincolnshire. I only wish it were more. As always a friendly welcome in a spotless and quirky café. I chose the ‘small breakfast’ as a bit of a hangover cure but with an extra slice of black pudding. Look at the picture and you can only guess what the ‘big breakfast’ might look like. This comes with toast and marmalade/jam for the princely sum of £3.95!!! A big cup of milky coffee for £1.80 and I’m cured. It’s worth making a detour to eat here. I love it. Highly recommended.

OMG !!! What an amazing roast dinner my husband and I had on Sunday everything on our plates were perfectly cooked and so tasty also plenty of everything the one thing I thing liked the was how hot it all was when brought out to us .
