The Cornish Bakery in Hastings

Zwar versteckt sich hinter der Bäckerei eine Kette mit mehreren Filialen, aber was die Speisen angeht kann man nicht meckern. Die Chicken Massallah-Pasty war knusprig und würzig. Zwar viel Soße und etwas weniger Inhalt, aber trotzdem schmackhaft (jedoch mit etwas über 5 Pfund nicht gerade günstig).

The staff were friendly and helpful. Quick service with a smile. The traditional Cornish pastries were delicious and my boys loved the sausage rolls and their hot chocolates. Nice strong coffee too. The downside - I wanted more than my belly could take haha! It’s a shame there isn’t enough room for a little more seating outside. Highly recommended

Beautiful bakery in the heart of Hastings old town, we came in on a very busy Saturday! Coffee was amazing, staff very friendly and happy and my salted caramel croissant was so tasty. Thank you we will see you again before we go back to london

My wife and I often pop in here when we're on one of our walks about Hastings. Quite simply it has a great range of food, both savoury, the Cornish Pasties being a favourite of course, and sweet pastries, all at a very reasonable cost too. Today we decided, for a change to pick from the pastries - Pain au Raisin - with two coffees. We both noticed immediately how very fresh and tasty there were, really head and shoulders above those found in the big cafe chains; what a find! Although extremely busy, the staff were courteous and fast, and this eatery was, as is usual, very clean and well kept. No doubt we will continue to frequent it, especially with a new interest in pastries now!

Always enjoythese venues. Quite limited choices but freshly baked and fair prices . Nice staff and good location in the Old Town

I love this bakery, The food is all made fresh and is really tasty, They have a nice selection of pasty's, And sweet things, the hot chocolate is my favourite as it is super tasty. The staff are lovely and make you feel so welcome. The place is really clean also and is super cosy. I would not hesitate to recommend this bakery as whoever runs it obviously takes pride in their job and it shows in the yummy food and the tidiness of the place. Highly Recommended.

This is definitely my favourite place to go when visiting Hastings Old Town. Great food and great atmosphere. The staff are lovely, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a coffee and a croissant which were lovely. Even though it was absolutely pouring down with rain shop was really busy and all the staff were smiling and happy don’t know what the manager does but it’s working

We come every week at least once, I bring my very excitable two year old and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, letting him pay using a 2p 🤣🙈. It is our favourite place to stop in Hastings. Great tea and coffee and can’t rate the staff highly enough.

Stopped off for a fabulous oat latte and a farmhouse sausage roll. Theyrecommended the brown sauce. The best ever. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Great coffee and food here, I get a coffee at least 4 times a week here and it never let's me down always tastes great. There pain au chocs are always a winner for a quick breakfast.

Lovely place, clean and friendly staff. Food was lovely, we had a mixture of toasties, pastries and pasty’s which were all very tasty. The only thing that we all said was that the drinks could have been hotter as we drank them quite quickly! We will definitely go back though and highly recommend it.

Today i went to the cornish bakery along george street, and the large traditional and carrot cake was amazing, without at doubt the coffee is best in town! This is now my new go to coffee shop!

Yummy, the best croissants and coffee! smooth and delicious great start to the day. My dog is welcomed in allowing me to visit often after our long morning walk. Nice little coffee shop in middle of old town. Went there for a coffee which was sublime with a bomb explosion art 👏 and had to try out the winter bun 😋 100% would recommend

Today I went to Cornish bakery for a coffee and a slice of carrot cake because I remember how superb it was last time I visited. The staff member that served me greeted me when I walked through the door with a great smile! The coffee was fantastic and the carrot cake was divine. I would recommend this place to anyone without a doubt. I will be back to try the winter ice bun when I next last by.

Old town location, this wonderful bakery offers fresh bakes and great coffee. Staff are efficient and i found the prices very fair. There are four cake samples to try - great idea.

What an amazing and welcoming team. When at 4pm no one else is willing to serve you tea/coffee we, a group of friends, walked in for a coffee and our made to feel very welcomed. The Italian Hot Chocolate is a must have and the almond croissants superb. A great finish to a lovely day in the Cotswolds

I had a beautifully made decaf flat white here. They use Union Roast coffee which is superb, and Tim is a great Barista. They’re very welcoming and relaxed about me using my laptop too. I highly recommend.

The coffee here and in Echo Beach Cafe on the front is the best in the Old Town. The pastries are also lovely (cherry and almond croissant was yummy) and the service is always friendly.
