Really good size pub, staff were really friendly and took intolerances very seriously. My wife is Gluten free and there was plenty of options available. My wife had the fish and chips, luckily she ordered the small option as it was a very generous portion! I had the fish pie which was fantastic. If you like a good sized meal then this is a must. The pub was fully booked so booking in advance is definitely advised. We look forward to heading back.

Sunday Lunch was one of the best we’ve had it was delicious, great portions for adults & kids, service was excellent & friendly we will definitely visit again when we visit St Ives Thank you

Lovely food - home cooked and generous in size. Short walk from Tregenna castle worth a visit if you are staying there. Friendly service will defo go back!

Great place, slightly out of the main area but cabs are very reasonable and the walk is nice. Had the squid which was excellent, followed by the fish and chips of course! Beer is kept really well, had a good choice and a guest beer, plus had a nice really rose with dinner. Great mix of locals and visitors, dogs welcome which is great, and has a really friendly bunch of staff. Thanks for your hospitality Joel, Kat, Terri, David. Will definitely visit again

Landlord is a joke…a proper misery, and he needs a lesson in how to be welcoming to customers. Walked in for a drink and he showed no warmth whatsoever. He later turned away a large family because he said there were no tables. The place was half empty. This man should sell up to someone who wants to make a difference. Cornwall tourist industry, this place lets you down.
