The Corner House in Stratford-on-Avon

Nunca antes había probado la pizza de masa fermentada, así que estaba un poco escéptico, pero estaba felizmente sorprendido, ¡fue increíble! Los sabores eran fenomenales incluso para una Margherita (aburrida lo sé.) El personal era igual de bueno y obtuvimos mucha comida por nuestro dinero del que nunca te quejas. Esperamos volver!

Muy bien decorado con personal muy servicial. Jack es un chef brillante que hace todo lo posible para satisfacer todas las solicitudes especiales. También tienen música de DJ que es algo raro en Stratford.

La decoración es genial: tomé muchas fotos y planeo replicar algunas de las miradas en mi propia casa. Mi colega y yo pedimos la ensalada griega, batatas fritas y un buen vaso de rojo. La ensalada era enorme y deliciosa, agradable y fresca y las papas fritas también abundaban; estábamos llenos y no teníamos espacio para el postre. Estuvimos aquí por negocios, pero no dudaría en volver a visitar si estamos en la zona.

Por alguna razón, mi última revisión de la casa de la esquina fue eliminada. Estoy pensando que esto se debe al hecho de que dije la verdad sobre el estado absoluto de este establecimiento y que me decepcionó mucho. Sé que no soy el único habitante de Stratford upon Avon con este punto de vista. Tiene mucho potencial, pero honestamente, preferiría visitar cualquier otro bar / restaurante en la ciudad.  - Servicio pobre  - Personal grosero  - Pisos pegajosos y sucios  - Baños sucios y malolientes  - Sin ambiente ni bienvenida por parte del personal  - Administración deficiente  - Selección de bebidas caras con cervezas que saben a líneas que no se han limpiado durante meses ¡EVITAR! ! ! !

Having visited with friends for Sunday Lunch, I have to say this place is disgusting. Yes the food was good but the fact that everything in this place was dirty, greasy and even more baffling, it smelt stale and damp. The floor was sticky, cobwebs hanging off every light and the toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Such a shame as this place was fabulous when we came last month. None of the old staff there and this clearly showed. This place has gone downhill fast. Such a shame

This was my third trip to the Corner House for food, it has never failed to impress, but this Sunday lunch was pretty special. My roast beef was perfectly cooked, succulant, the homemade yorkshire pudding perfect as were the roast potatoes, there were tons of other veg and we bought am extra side of cauliflower cheese.... Mmm, I had to lick around the dish! Lovely atmosphere too, highly recommend and will be returning very soon!

Visited one sunny afternoon and spent a happy couple of hours on a well positioned terrace. Terrace tidy and well designed and offered tables in sun or shade. Only downside was metal staircase and on our visit the outside bar wasn't open which means you have to go to the bar downstairs to buy a drink and then carry up the stairs. Didn't sample the food but the Pinot Noir was very good indeed! Would definitely visit again when next in Stratford.

Great little place, the new extension and terrace is a great addition to the place!! Pizza’s are great, I had the chicken one and it was AMAZING. Served by Hayley.. attentive and very friendly, knows her stuff!

The corner house is opening from 12pm Monday and onwards It’s a great place to meet up, has a new space and new open terrace for sunny evenings also covered for rainy occasions Great food delivered by excellent chefs, also local booze and local produce usedTasty and brilliant atmosphere

Staying in Stratford and came across this place, so glad we did. The place was heaving (apparently post Cheltenham races) but the staff balanced this admirably with the dining. For relaxed pub food it was absolutely excellent, starters of gambas pil pil & mushrooms superb.2-4-1 pizzas were really good to. Excellent value as well. Great range of beers which we didn’t try this time. Will certainly be coming back. Perhaps not the place for a romantic dinner date, but for a couple or group wanting great food in a jazzy atmosphere don’t hesitate! Tim

These guys are doing great things! We’ve just been for the Rugby and a Roast; big table, adults and children. The service was fantastic. Super attentive even though they were packed out. Then there’s the roast...wow! It’s up there! Really good portions, well cooked and tasty with massive Yorkshire puddings, which always go down well! Lovely beer too. Very impressed and we’ll definitely be back whether or not the rugby is showing! Thanks!

They are really making something of this pub. Lots of ideas, but above all great service and the best pizza

Me and boyfriend went here start of the year! The food was brilliant, came out hot and didn’t take long to be brought over. The staff are friendly and happy help. The corner house is very clean and has a good atmosphere. You get what you pay for very good value for money. We will be going back very soon

My wife and young daughter ate here on Saturday lunchtime. We welcomed by a nice member of staff who made sure we had menus and drinks straight away. The sweet potato fritters and black pudding hash starters were really, really good! We both then opted for the brisket burgers which were presented beautifully! We'll certainly be back and look forward to seeing the renovations completed.
