Birthday visit with my family! Amazing service and good drinks selection, we didn't try the food on this occasion as we had a booking elsewhere but will be back again soon to give it a go.

Really good service by keoma, all staff were welcoming. Cheesy chips were hot and delicious. Drink was nice and cold and refreshing. Definitely recommend x

We went in for breakfast at 10am. At 10.50am breakfast was brought to us, it was barely warm, the baked beans were congealed and we ordered white toast, but we were served brown toast. How can it possibly take so long? I will not be eating in there again!! And we were the first customers to order food!

I used to regularly go to the Coopers but since I moved out of Stevenage 10years ago I haven’t gone back so I was pleasantly surprised when I dropped in on the off chance to meet an old friend. We were greeted by Barman Alfie as though we were old friends,and although the decor has changed much in ten years the hospitality is still warm and welcoming . Although a young man Alfie was respectful and knowledgeable,prompt and polite. Many of these new gastro pubs are concerned with the food primarily but I was pleasantly surprised to find old time pub hosting. I will certainly be back and this time to have a meal . Alfie is a credit to your establishment.

Went for breakfast on 7th March, baked beans stone cold, mushrooms like warm, veggie sausage tasteless, toast looked like it saw the toaster for seconds never ever again will we eat here again

All staff were so friendly, food came out quick and hot, would recommend to friends and other family. We ordered the 3 starters and all were so good for the price, portions were very filling

The initial booking I made on the phone the guy who answered was very nice and polite and helpful I rang on the Monday and asked if they would have availability for around 14- 18 of us to come and have a meal on the Tuesday night at 6pm but that amount was just in case others decided to join us and I said it would most likely be around 13 people which it was 12 adults and 2 children, I was phoned at around lunchtime on the Tuesday by a lady who explained that they had technical issues and weren't trading currently as they couldn't take payments but she would keep me updated that afternoon which she rang back at 2pm and said they were back trading but cash only, not a problem just get cash out on way , on our arrival there was a list on the table given to us of items not available, quite a bit very random things you wouldn't think to have ran out of? Well from then on it went down hill we waited an hour and a hlf for our meals that were then just coming out in dribs and drabs and the food wasn't even hot ! Just barely warm there was no presentation to it just looked like it had been thrown on the plate and sat under a hotplate for hlf hour absolutely appalling, the poor lady's bringing the food out were very apologetic as it wasn't their fault the meats were dry and tough the rice was dry and hard and then to top it off at the end the free desserts that were offered, one was a cheesecake missing the biscuit base ! And my warm waffle shop waffle was cold and dry, not one person during the service came and asked if everything was OK I think they were embarrassed as they knew the cock ups 🤔 absolutely shocking ruined my so s 16th birthday meal. And it was even busy which I would have understood if it was.

Great, good food and good drinks. Lovly atmosphere. Could bring family or friends. Definitely going to be coming back here for sure 100% recommend for people from around the area

Ive been visiting the coopers Inn in stevenage for a while now, I've always been very pleased with the quality of the service from the staff. The food here is very good, on time, nicely cooked and great value - there's a good selection of drinks to choose from too. The place is always busy with families and people enjoying watching the live sports on the many tv's around the venue. The atmosphere is friendly and family orientated, Sherry along with the other hard working staff make sure everyone has a pleasant visit. Highly recommended

Had a lovely meal at the Cooper’s Inn even thought not everything was available on the menu. Our waiter Josh Kane made our time really special and was an excellent waiter. Would come again.

The Coopers inn is a good family meal with a choice of different foods and drinks. We would highly recommend and would come back, the staff was friendly with character and postive vibes excpet from a few. Only came in for a drink but ended up having something to eat 7 of us 5 adults and 2 children. Food came out pretty quick and cooked to how we wanted it . Staff are so lovely always on hand if u need anything

The atmosphere in the pub was lovely and everyone was so helpful, big shout out too Jess who took our order and Specky Luke who done our drinks. The management was fantastic and so friendly and happy too help with whatever they could and so supportive of their other staff. 10/10 would highly recommend and will defiantly be coming back

Ordered chicken skews with chips and onion rings as a side. My wife ordered well done sirloin steak with chips and a pepper corn sauce. We garlic bread and battered mushrooms as a side along with onion rings. Garlic bread turned up with chicken skews (no chips) wife’s steak turned up rare with chips. Mushrooms arrived no problems, also no peppercorn sauce. Sent steak back was promised it would be back shortly along with all missing items. Steak came back about 25 mins later with raw chips and very soggy onion rings, I had long since eaten my chicken which wasn’t skews as they didn’t have any but it was chicken breast. The steak was now like a tough shoe leather or worse. Have been here many times before and really enjoyed it, won’t ever be coming back - avoid avoid aboud

Been here on and off for years now but my visit with a mate on Friday 26th Jan wasn't the best experience, very short staffed which isn't the staffs fault but it just gave it a stressed and uncomfortable atmosphere, we didn't order food which we came down there for as we saw some plates going back to the kitchen and think the wait time was over an hour. The girls behind the bar were great though and deserve praise as they did the best the could given the circumstances. Hopefully they will resolve their issues as its a nice local pub to go to for a drink and some grub

So I've not been here for about 3 years as it was terrible back then. Though we would give it a try as it's been a while! It's still terrible. Staff friendly but food is not good. We waited an hour for fish & chips and hot dog & chips. The chips were over cooked and dry. The onions were boiled 🤮 and not fried like the menu said. The hot dog sausage was dry and tough on the outside. It wasn't even busy. We saw a table send 2 meals back to the kitchen, not sure what the problem was though. It's about time this pub hired a decent chef. Awful and won't be coming here again. Very disappointed.
