Great tiny micro pub, just like a big front room. Great crowd of regulars, weekly quiz, theme nights.

Popped in tonight for a beer. I think there might have been a birthday party going on. Clearly lots of locals. I thought the whole idea of the micro pub was to make everyone feel welcome. Not one person spoke to me not even the landlady. I felt like I was sitting in someone's front room not knowing anyone. Shame the beer was good. Not for me. Rather be anonymous in a bigger pub. I left this review on Monday. When I first went in I didn't realise there was a party going on. It was only when the food arrived, after I sat down with my pint, did the penny drop. I now realise that it was nice of them to let me in and the landlord was having a well deserved rest and chilling with his friends. I appreciate that my review was unfair. I'd like to give it another go. If I'm welcome back of course. I'm sorry for an offence caused. It's clearly a very popular micro pub with a large loyal fan base.

Fantastic place. Great, intimate atmosphere. Wonderful ales served by brilliant friendly staff.

Had an excellent convivial couple of hours here. Good range of ales and ciders. Has changed hands fairly recently and the new layout is much better and encourages conversation .

Love to visit this dog friendly micro pub. Great selection of ales and ciders, along with some wines. They make an effort to make you feel like this is your local, even if it is your first visit

Great refurbishment, great beer.

Slightly bigger than it used to be! Still a cosy little pub with friendly customers and staff. If you aren't a people person, this might not be the place for you, but if you've got a sense of humour and enjoy conversation, it's fantastic. Nice range of cask ales, bottled lagers and a small selection of wines and spirits.

A wonderful and friendly micro pub run by Colin. It has something of a maritime theme and is named after the "Conqueror" paddle steamer. Real ales and ciders available. Well worth a visit, check the website ( conqueror-alehouse.co.uk )for opening times. Enjoy your visit! M.B.

Very small but the locals moved about so we could sit down. Very nice home brew and good value. The owner was very welcoming.

This is a very special Micropub. Beer is kept exceptionally well and the regulars are ensured eternal peace. I would recommend you take home a bottle or two of St Lawrence Grid Iron brewed by the local vicar in aid of church funds .

Best micro pub in Thanet. Always a friendly welcome (from landlord and locals), always great beer and they do takeaway. Just wish I lived closer but then my liver probably wouldn't.

Ale selection ok but it needs cleaning the route to the toilet sees the kitchen and was discusting and needs attention

A micropub and a very different experience to your usual pub. All back to basics and the better for it. Excellent local beer in an incredibly convivial atmosphere. No music, no TVs and NO LAGER! 7 minute walk from Ramsgate FC.
