Very bad place and the staff are very very rude

Totally undrinkable Espresso Macchiato. Coffee devoid of any flavor other than acid. Not even the presence of three teaspoons of milk foam managed to mitigate the absolute acidity of an undrinkable drink. We returned our coffees after barely tasting them and left the venue.

I was quite disappointed with my experience, particularly given the price point. I decided to try the Flan Parisien based on the staff's recommendation, but unfortunately, the pastry fell short of expectations. The Flan Parisien was notably difficult to enjoy. Despite my attempts with both fork and knife, I couldn’t break into the bottom layer of the flan. The pastry was firmly adhered to the paper at the bottom, making it challenging to eat and enjoy. The photo I’ve included illustrates this issue. Whilst the flavour of the flan was pleasant, it didn’t justify the high price. The taste was enjoyable but didn’t provide a memorable experience that would warrant the expense. The coffee was tasty and enjoyable, which was a positive aspect of my visit. In terms of value, I found the pricing to be steep. There are numerous patisseries in London that offer superior products at a better price point. Additionally, I was surprised to find that there is a different pricing structure for dine-in versus take-away, which adds to the overall cost. Overall, while the coffee was a highlight, the issues with the Flan Parisien and the pricing made the experience less satisfying than anticipated.

Average pastry for shockingly high prices. As well as coffee. Not enough space, and also no toilets on premises.

Just too overrated and over hyped . The Charlotte Raspberry cake one the best seller was below average, I thought I was about to try something cakey and yummy but unfortunately full of cream cant taste the cake.

The ultimate treat me place. Sit in availability is limited but take away is also an option. It is hard to find genuinely good patisserie, The Connaught has such a great range and I've never been disappointed with my choices. They also have what I think are the best scones and I've tried most of the big name afternoon teas in London.

I visited The Connaught Patisserie today and had a wonderful experience. The place is located in a very cute street and neighborhood. The patisserie is pretty, with seating both inside and outside. The staff was very nice. I tried an iced latte and a trio au chocolat. The viennoiserie was delicious and creative, which I really appreciated. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience there.

STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE. Very beautiful gâteaux in appearance but seriously lacking in substance and flavour. At £20 for a piece of cake you would expect it to be very enjoyable. I have had better chocolate mousse from the supermarket. Granted, taste is subjective but I'm basing my criteria on the price and similar places around London. Overall, it feels like an expensive tourist trap. At least Ladurée is consistently enjoyable.

It is a small, quiet, and delicious coffee shop. Their coffee is delicious, and their sweets are delicious in all kinds, and most of them are what scholarship students come up with.

Service: 1-star. The staff were impolite and that made the atmosphere unwelcoming. I would not recommend.

Very small place and they allow dogs !! I was eating and suddenly two women each one has a big dog sat next to me and their dogs on my feet!! Noise and scary it’s very expensive and they charged too much for service and I don’t what’s the 2nd thing they put in the bill for just 1 piece of cake (hazelnut thing I don’t remember) they charged me £ 20 I asked them to remove some of these different charges .. so at the end it became £17 still high 🔥 Never come again .. nothing special

Had their cappuccino and it was very lackluster - you could taste the pungent flavor of steamed milk and no texture. Service was also quite slow. Place had great location and atmosphere but needs improvement in its food and service!

Una piccola boutique della viennoiserie, locale in un quartiere molto ricco di Londra, la struttura è molto ben tenuta e la sensazione che si ha del servizio e del posto è di alto livello. Prezzi in linea con la media londinese per quanto riguarda il dolce e salato, alti invece per la caffetteria. Gli sfogliati sono davvero buoni, molto ben bilanciati, ottimo uso del burro, non risultano pesanti, una colazione da tutti i giorni. Se amate la viennioserie fate un salto.

I've visited many pastry and patisserie shops in London, and considering the price and quality, this place is excellent (there’s some famous patisseries are only expensive). The croissant and pain au chocolat are crunchy and neither too sweet nor too salty, at a perfect balance. There are many cake choices, and they are exquisitely made. But regarding the flavour of the cake I may not be the best judge, as I think most cakes tastes quite similar. In the end, it’s just my personal preference and may differ from person to person. Ask for takeaway can save the long queues too.

The desserts are great the place is a bit tiny but feels warm and the service is great.

Lovely coffee and cakes but a bit pricey

Simply, creativity aligned with delicious flavor. The pecan tart is nutty and creamy in the same time, yielding to an amazing mouth feel. The Christmas surprise (Hound) is a surprising, treat indeed caramelization on the mead combined with the coconut flavor is just super magic combo. It was Christmas Eve. The staff : miss Victoria was serving us with a big smile and positive spirit. Highly recommend the place and hats to the creative chef. :)

The guy with the black suit standing outside was extremely disrespectful. This shouldn’t be the way costumers are treated. Never coming again until someone with better manners is standing out there.

The tall Arab guy with the suit standing outside the store is super rude. I have passed by twice and he’s still there with the same attitude. This used to be my favorite place for coffee but not anymore!

I came here two days ago, the coffee is average, the cakes are good. What shocked me was the attitude, the waitress ignored me and took the order of the lady behind me before mine and she wasn’t friendly, the waiter was nice and welcoming though

I don't see what the fuss is about. My wife and I turned up one evening and the display was mostly empty. I.E. None of the signature chocolate dogs were available, just two white chocolate versions. So, we decided to return the next morning. That morning, the display case was in the same state. They added some chocolate, chocolate chip cookies but, that was all. The same (at least) day old white chocolate dogs were there but, no chocolate ones were added. We got a cookie and a croissant. The cookie was good but, I don't think the croissant was fresh baked and the butter left an odd after taste. Paying premium prices for aged confections is hard to justify.

Real refined style is difficult and almost impossible nowadays. Shocking to see in such a nice place these “posh ladies” having just a tea being allowed to watch stupid videos on their phones out laud. Over annoying. Also staff shouldn’t check/use their mobile phones behind the counter or use the lap top ON the counter. Painful.

Nothing special, the pasteries are overhyped

Pâtisserie magnifique! Le lieu est jolie est chaleureux la qualité est au rendez vous. De très jolies entremets et tartes. Par contre le service est une catastrophe. La serveuse nous poussait pour qu’on finisse vite notre goûter. Désagréable au possible et pas du tout professionnel. Elle restait derrière nous avec le TPE pour qu’on paye. Une fois payer. Elle n’a pas bouger du tout pour débarrasser. Nous avons passer à peine 15 minutes, nous avons fais la queue pour venir je ne pense pas que ce soit une attitude normal.

The most beautiful pastries are made here! They really are a work of art. The pain au chocolat is one of my favourites along with the pecan pie - they taste absolutely amazing! Planing on going again very soon.

Glorious pastries. The smoked salmon éclair was unique & perfectly balanced. The raspberry & vanilla tart 10 / 10 & travelled well! You can pre order via the web for pickup, between meetings in my case. Just a 10 minute walk from Lizzie Line Bond Street. Close to Hideaway, Hedonism wines too.

The best pastry shop in London. Super elegant display, amazing entremet, last but not least the viennoiserie look stunning. We have tried the pain au chocolat and hazelnut danish, very much appreciated by all of us

Coffee was ok, hot chocolate was awful, pastries were microscopic. Go out the door and left over the the road and you will find great coffee. I wouldnt return or advise it to anyone. Pret would be a better option. The staff and decor were lovely.

The staff’s got a lot of attitude. The desserts are tasteless. Although the place is trying hard to be ‘luxurious’, but the only luxury part is the bill. Dusty furniture and visitors with dogs are not guided on the proper behaviour, dogs are all over the place and the staff doesn’t care. Meh.

Overrated without any value or quality of their products. Got the salmon and the eclair was not fresh - or had become soggy sitting in the fridge. No - name coffee , without any traceability nor origin costs £8 ( !!! ) Tarts were ok - the fruits tasteless. Service is not for 5 star prices. They Can do a lot better!

Such a delicious croissant and Pain au chocolat, it’s one of the most delicious i have ever tried. I can say they are the best in London. And the pastry collection is really nice and they are seasonal so you must visit every time to try the verity of options they have. The coffee was really good and delicate as well.

لوحظ انا سعر الكيك اذا كان خارج المطعم يختلف عن الجلوس بالمطعم فمثلا اخترت كيك سعره ١٣ باوند وجلست وعند الفاتوره تبين ان سعرها ١٦ باوند وعند السؤال قال ان سعر الطلبات الخارجية تختلف عن الجلوس داخل المطعم It has been noticed that the price of a cake outside the restaurant is different from sitting in the restaurant. For example, I chose a cake whose price is 13 pounds and sat down, and when the bill showed that its price is 16 pounds, when asked, he said that the price for take-out orders is different from sitting inside the restaurant.

Paid allllot of money for a marble cake that was quite bad. Flavourless, dry. A bit of a disappointment because of their reputation.

Friendly staff, amazing service.

Wow wow wow the pain au chocolat was fantastic and very authentic I was very impressed. Decor was lovely and staff were nice and inviting. Cappuccino was excellent to pair with my croissant. Strawberry cheesecake ice cream was also great but a bit too overpriced for the portion.

Great french pâtisseries, even though it's a bit expensive compared to similar quality pastries in Paris (13.5£ here per pastry, while Michalak is around 7.5€ for instance). Yet, the pastries quality are still worth buying, it's just as beautiful as it tastes. Most flavors are very soft, so do not expect some gastronomical kick either, but the execution is perfect.

Amazing delicious cakes, I tried 3 and they all were absolutely fantastic. For long time I haven’t tried anything that could even barely achieve the level of this place. A lot of different options for the cakes, everyone can find something here. Two baddies are that the place is very expensive and it has very limited amount of seating.

Lovely little place for a coffee and sweet treat, however there's expensive and then there's EXPENSIVE! I paid for a flat white and Americano came to just under £18 including service charge. Staff are warm and welcoming, but I just can't justify the price, especially considering you're not even situated in the Connaught Hotel and other 5* hotels in the area are half the price for a coffee such as The Dorchester.

The price is the most surprisingly thing here. The service is comfortable and friendly. The outlook of the dessert is beautiful. But compared to the best patisserie in Vienna, i think the quality of the ingredients plays really an important role. In Austria they have tip top excellent cream and milk. So just the simple whipped cream tested like in a heaven.
