Mi Zereshk Polow (arroz agridulce con pollo) fue excelente y una gran combinación de sabores y texturas. El helado de azafrán con crema doble y pistachos estaba delicioso. Wonderful, authentic Iranian food. The service was friendly and professional and the decor was fabulous...very good location too.

Every time I visit London, my first stop is always this restaurant. The food is excellent, especially considering the price, as the quality of the ingredients used is outstanding. My only note is regarding the type of lamb chops used recently — the cuts they used to serve were better. I shared this feedback with the restaurant manager, who responded positively and promised to review it and make the necessary adjustments. Many thanks from me and my family!

The lamb is outstanding, some of the best we'vehad anywhere. The portions are very large. We enjoyed the restruants the night before leaving London. If we were staying longer we would have had a meal of delicious leftovers. Thank you for a delicious last meal in England.

Our favourite Iranian/Persian restaurant in London. Great traditional cuisine, friendly staff and very quaint décor. When in London, we usually pop in for lunch or dinner. Noush-e-jan.

Have been a long time customer here, as usual the food(bread, kubideh, mirza ghasemi and salad Olivier) was delicious and portions very generous.

An Iranian friend recommended Hafez. It was a great recommendation. It was authentic with delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere in a uniquely decorated restaurant. We will return.

A truly Persian jewel in London: Restaurant Hafez impresses across the board! Our visit to the Hafez Restaurant on April 8, 2025 was a completely successful experience and we were completely thrilled. Our selection of starters was a real treat and offered a perfect introduction to Persian cuisine. The creamy baba ghanoush with its smoky aroma was just as delicious as the fresh and crunchy hafez salad. The velvety hummus impressed with its perfect consistency and delicate taste, while the refreshing Mast-o Khiar (yoghurt with cucumber and mint) offered a pleasant contrast. The crispy flatbread served with it was ideal for absorbing the dips and rounded off the starter ensemble perfectly. The main courses seamlessly continued the high standard and left nothing to be desired. The juicy kubideh (grilled minced lamb) was perfectly seasoned and tender. The bademjan (eggplant stew with tomatoes) was rich and flavorful. The Fesenjan (chicken with walnuts with pomegranate) presented a wonderful balance of sweet and savory notes and the Gheimeh Bademjan (lamb stew with yellow peas and eggplant) was another highlight with its deep and complex flavor. Each dish in itself was a masterpiece of Persian culinary art. The quality of the food was consistently excellent. We agree that Hafez is potentially one of the best restaurants in London offering authentic Persian cuisine. In addition, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. Another plus point was the extremely friendly and courteous service. The staff was attentive, helpful and contributed significantly to the positive atmosphere. Conclusion: The Hafez Restaurant is an absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to discover the flavors of Persia or enjoy authentic Persian cuisine at the highest level. The excellent food, friendly service and reasonable prices make this restaurant a true jewel in London's gastronomic landscape. We'll definitely be back!

Coming from Houston (where we have a strong Persian food presence), I was super surprised to find that Hafez not only met the standard but probably beats it. High quality ingredients that makes their food filling but not too heavy. Already making plans to return

Very well decorated. Ordered their traditional persian herb soup ash-e-mash, kashk-e bademjan aubergine dip, bread, vegetarian ghorme sabzi, grilled chicken with lamb tenderloin kebab. Most of the dishes were very yummy. My kebab was a bit dry but very good flavour. Dessert was the best we had saffron ice cream, delicious.

Hafez is a very friendly place, where you can enjoy persian dishes. The service is the best, they are helpfull and openminded. The food is tasty, ask for the grilled, spiced chicken!

This is my third time dining at Hafez and this please keeps surprising me for this delicious food, cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. The aubergine starter with yogurt is particularly remarkable and the rose tea is the most delicious drink to accompany the dinner. I will definitely come back many times !

We travelled miles to eat here and it was great. Genuinely vibrant atmosphere, even on a Wednesday. Lovely, personable staff who took time to talk about the food. And a range of very interesting flavours - and decent portion sizes - that will have me going back again.

I've been going to Hafez for years and it never disappoints. Good Iranian food, good service, fair prices, friendly staff. Last night I took some non-Iranian friends and the waiter brought us a complimentary tahdig with ghormeh sabzi, which was a real treat for my friends.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hafez Persian Restaurant in Bayswater with some close friends, and we were all incredibly impressed by the wonderful hospitality provided by their staff, especially Arman. He was so attentive and helpful, guiding us through the menu and helping us choose the perfect dishes. The restaurant itself had a cosy and inviting atmosphere, with a perfectly comfortable temperature for the winter months. One of the highlights of our meal was the Iranian desserts — they were absolutely delightful! The Saffron ice cream was particularly special, tasting just as it should, and it truly reminded me of the authentic flavors I’ve missed. I will definitely be coming back again soon and highly recommend Hafez Persian Restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Thank you for such a memorable time!

This restaurant is a gem serving fabulous Persian food. As soon as you step in the door the decor makes you feel you have entered a culinary Aladdin’s Cave. Staff are attentive, polite and very helpful. We had a mix of cold and warm starters with bread all of which were superb with the Dolmeh and Baba Ghanoush particularly outstanding. Mains was a mix of kebabs and chops with bread, salad and the ubiquitous fries. All was well presented and the inner carnivore was sated. There is a good drinks menu but you can also BYO for a very modest £8 corkage. An excellent evening and we will be back. Terry

You must visit it, We ordered soup, hommos and baba ghannouj for appetizers. The soup and baba ghannouj were epic.. The hummos is below average though. For main course we had jujah kepap and lamb kubiedah.. The first wasn't great bu the latter was amazing. We aldo orderd okra which was very good. The rice tasted weird and the dogh was great. Portions are very large.. 1 dish easily good for 2
