Fairuz in City of London, Westminster

Amazing food, I ordered the lamb fatteh, fatoush and falafel. Portions are big so couldn’t finish everything, but it was definitely food for the soul. I definitely recommend it! The interior is beautiful too, and the staff are really friendly. :)

The employees are not treated well and are very rude

No atmosphere and service was awful.....took over an hour to get the appetizers.......

Smaller portions compared to the last time I have been, a year ago. We ordered a Moussaka and it was incredibly small, with a lot of rice on the side. We complained about the size of the plate and we got more rice at the table, which was disappointing.

Went recently. For the quality of food served the prices are off the charts. A plate of hummous at 14 pounds. Halloumi for 10 pounds, a glass of coke at 5 pounds.. The moussaka was the equivalent of three large spoons of aubergine drawn in rice. Very bad value for money. There are much better options for Lebanese food.

Food is not finest as advertised. Cheapest tomatoes in a 10£ salad where 80% of it are tomatoes. Simple decent food well cooked. Ut they skimp on ingredients and overprice stuff.

We had lunch in this lovely restaurant!! The food was sooo delicious (mutabbal, borak, moujadara, jawineh...)!! the place is calm and very well decorate ! And our meal would not have gone as well without the unparalleled kindness of our server (thanks again and you are welcome in Morocco and Paris 😊)! We were passing and the place we intended to eat at nearby was closed, so 7 of us came back in here for dinner. It was OK, food was good, some dishes tastier than others, can't really complain, though it isn't gong to win any awards either. Simple food for £65 a person. Trumpy.

Couldn’t beleive how horrific the service was. My friend has a severe nut allergy which she told the staff about before Ordering. First dish arrived covers in cashew nuts. We flagged this, and the waitress seemed annoyed ; didn’t offer to remove dish or cutlery/plate for my friend. We asked and she eventually brought new crockery, didn’t remove the dish still. A second dish then arrived covered in nights…some thing played out again. At no point did anyone apologise, seem remotely concerned, offer us any compensation. When we went to pay, they had included our replacement dishes and the dishes with nuts on the bill. Totally incompetent, dangerous and unacceptable. If someone tells you they have a Serious allergy, you take it seriously - we were disgusted. I have never written a bad review before in my life. But this is not safe, so I’m sharing!

Quite appalled at the customer service. Told the waitress quite clearly I was allergic to cashews and peanuts, which she wrote down with our order. Hummus dish comes out and whilst eating it notice there are cashews in it. Waitress did not even seem concerned and had to ask her to bring another hummus and another plate/cutlery. Main dish comes out, also has cashews on top of it. Noting no cashews are listed on the menu in these dishes either. Then they proceed to try charge for both hummus dishes on the bill. No idea what happened with communication but clearly the restaurant has no understanding of the seriousness of allergies or empathy with the fact they could have sent me to hospital.

Delicious food in a cute tiny restaurant with a nice Middle Eastern decoration. Service is average. Not very attentive, close to rude this time, and we didn't get our food at the same time. The second wave arrived a good 10/15 minutes later, which can be annoying. It's nice to eat at the same pace. I have been to that restaurant several times, and the service is very versatile. Sometimes warm and welcoming and sometimes less ! That said, it doesn't change the fact that the food was really good, and I am sure I ll give it another go.

Worst service ever received in my life. Waiter was belligerent, unhelpful and frankly shouldn’t be working in hospitality. Highly recommend anywhere else in Marylebone.

By far the best Lebanese restaraunt in London. Most delicious and wholesome meal in a cosy restaraunt that focuses on quality more than quantity- and the quality of the food is outstanding. The food is just amazing, from the appetizers to the mains (I get the Farrouj, yummiest chicken ever)! I highly recommend Fairuz for all of your middle eastern cravings. Worth the price.

Great Lebanese restaurant. Generous portions - the sea bream, fresh and perfectly cooked, is huge. Prices are also very reasonable. Foul mdamas (very good), fatoush salad (excellent) and the sea bream made a filling lunch for two hungry brothers.

Food was fairly standard in all honesty with most dishes tasting very similar I’d like to say they are a bit on the expensive side even considering the location. Our bill was just under £200 for 4 persons this is without any alcohol so just food and fizzy drinks. Atmosphere is very nice chilled and quiet with soft lighting ideal for a date or just chilled chat with a few friends.

The service here is just DOG poor. I assume the tall gentleman is the owner and his attitude is not satisfactory. I’ve visited twice to give it another chance AND pick up order and every encounter has been really atrocious. They don’t have any basics of customer service and when he passes you your meal to pick up he will practically throw it at you. Don’t support places like this when there are so many pleasant restaurants who have the basic customer service. Luckily there is a persian restaurant opening next door. don’t waste your time, money and energy coming here. They need a real internal makeover if they want to survive their place as a restaurant on blandford.

Great food and service as usual.

This is not what it used to be. We went to Fairuz to have dinner for the third time and it was unfortunately very disappointing. Prices are higher, portions are smaller and the service is chaotic especially when you have an allergy. We will simply not to go again.

You know the food is gonna be good when the hummus is good! Also very generous portions!

I really enjoyed the food in this place. You'll find classic Lebanese dishes. Maybe some were a bit too much garlic for my taste (especially afterwards 😂) but no doubt about the quality.

Nice experience with very good food of good quality. I can comment of the meat that I had which was very tender. Service needs to be improved.

This was my 4th visit. My sister & I went early as our theatre trip was cancelled but decided to still have dinner anyway. Fairuz is small & homely & it was amazing as always! Lovely, friendly staff. The food is just delicious and I could probably just graze on the huge array of starters but resisted and had the lamb knuckle and my sister had a gluten free lamb dish. Both were excellent! The only issue we had was that the mains arrived while we still had our starters. We have another theatre trip booked this Saturday, 16th Sept, so we are going again and my sister's hubby will be joining too.

By far...BEST LEBANESE FOOD IN LONDON! I LOVE IT.

Went to Fairuz tonight in Marylebone. It was JUST AWFUL!! The service was SLOW and almost non-existent (1hr just to receive starters, then ages for the mains to arrive), the white wine was room temperature (24 degrees tonight), the cauliflower side was ABSOLUTELY RAW (but wasn't supposed to be - I like my vegies crispy but this was so raw we couldn't even cut it with a knife & fork). Absolutely abysmal. NEVER again. Folks, go somewhere else, you can do better. On top of that, the food hygiene rating is only 3 out of 5 due to i. food hygiene issues and ii. lack of confidence in management (you can verify this online). JUST AWFUL. What a waste of time and money . Appalling. I'm so irritated. AVOID!!!

Staff very rudely behaved and moreover they charged for pita bread which is usually free with hummus

The guy who is middle aged and bald was very very rude. He told us we should not visit the restaurant again because we requested the optional service charge to be removed since his service was extremely bad. The cctv footage should be checked and this man demeaning the customers should be given proper training if he wants to continue working at Fairuz

Fairuz is a Lebanese authentic restaurant. It’s so cozy and cute 🥰. The food was excellent, we ordered Batata Hara, Shish Tawook, Tabouleh 😋. My favorite was the Tabouleh it was made with excellent spice and lemon sauce, Shish Tawouq it was cooked perfectly 😍 😋 The staff were lovely and very supportive. Although the toilet need a lot of cleaning 🧹. I highly recommend it 🙏🏼

الاكل كان جيد حتى اكون منصف، لكن للاسف مدير المطعم المصري كان غير محترم، حط على فاتورتنا ١٢.٥٪؜ رسوم خدمة (tip)ومكتوب انها اختياريه ويوم مارست حقي كعميل وطلبت تقليل رسوم الخدمة الى ٥٪؜ "بما انها اختياريه" زعل وقلل احترامه وقال مره ثانيه تجون بتدفعون وهذا يعكس سوء تربيته واخلاقه

Food was good, but when it come to tip they added 12.5% !! And when we told the manager about it he got angry on us! Keep in mind it’s “optional” not mandatory…

One of the best Lebanese restaurants in London. the grilled Meat and Chicken are delicious. Make sure you don’t miss out on the Arayess Kafta and Sambousik Meat…. A small place for huge appetites

The set menu was a poor choice. The mezze starters were very basic, followed by standard chicken, lamb and kofte kebabs, plenty of it to be fair, but a tiny portion of rice to share and no salad, sauces, dips or anything to break the monotony of all the meat. What did we expect you could say? It did not feel like good value either. Perhaps we should have been more adventurous. To cap it all we were given six pieces of baclava between the four of us as a measly token dessert. Not very impressed.

Honestly, the food was not as good as you’d expect, and the service was pretty trash, especially the manager. They can put a heavier price tag on their menu because it’s in Marylebone but I feel like their service and food needs to improve drastically before I’d recommend this spot.

Absolutely delicious! We visited on Friday and loved this place, the chicken liver, fattoush and wine were all amazing. We will be back!

Service was bad, frowned faces, food was tasty but they added extra money on things that came with the meal as one... without asking us first... like bread with the main dish costed extra money although we didn't order it, asked for extra tahini for Kebab, came in a tiny amount and was also charged for it... Strange experience.. gave it 3 stars for food being decent. They included a 12.5% tip in the bill, so we didn't have a choice

Staff was quite impatient, poor acoustics - the place was very loud. They placed bread on the table without asking nor letting us know its extra. Costly but at least the food was tasty.

The food is delicious! I went at lunchtime on a weekday so the service was really quick. The place is quite small but really cosy with a warm informal atmosphere.

Great Lebanese food in an informal setting. We tried 2 of the chef's lamb dishes which were served in generous portions. It is very easy to listen to the conversations on other tables, so this is not the place if you want to tell your big secrets. We were the first guests for lunch this Monday, but it was completely full when we left. So it is absolutely a popular place.

Lovely food and cosy restaurant

On arrival the workers was a bit quiet not friendly with us. The server his way of treating is not good. It’s far from main places and it’s expensive compared with other restaurants.
