At first we had to wait for 15 minutes for waiters to notice us and get us seated. After, we had to catch waiters by ourselves to get food orders as we have been waiting for 20 minutes, waving to waiters but no one came. Except providing service to tables waiters also have to serve sides for such plates as burgers. Tables are not being cleaned, dirty dishes are just stacked one on another on the table in the middle of the room. Waiter forgot our order 2 times. We had to wait for our food for about 40 minutes. Do NOT recommend it.

An early morning meal before a long haul flight, and I''m very glad that I chose The Commission. A large and comfortable space with enough room to navigate with carry-on, the food & service were both spot on. And the place was spotless, tables cleared as soon as they were vacated [somewhat unusual for airport establishments]. Happily recommend.

Good food and great service by Godfrey. Large area to dine in which is helpful on long delays. Thank you for the pre flight meal.

Si trova all'interno di Heathrow Airport e mi è sembrato il locale più carino di tutto l'aeroporto. Abbiamo mangiato semplicemente un paio di Cheeseburger senza particolari segnalazioni positive o negative e bevuto un paio di birre; servizio nella media così come il conto.

The place itself is quite nice but the service is slow. They don't seat too many people at a time, even then they struggle. The food was OK, not very big portions, but the biggest disappointment was that the food was cold. The place wasn't even busy, there is no excuse for it. Especially when you are paying £45 for two fried breakfasts and 4 coffees.

Good food and welcomed by good staff. We were served by William, who was definitely the star of the entire restaurant for myself and my friend! He is amazing at his work - professional, yet friendly and very helpful. Surely an asset to such a fast paced restaurant. :)

Expectations of food at airports usually means overpriced bland stove but this restaurant is an exception 8oz tender streak for under 20quid and cooked as requested.The duck flatbread was also good and filling for a starter ok wine was expensive but it is an airport.Will visit next time

What a surprise finding this little gem Terminal 4, Heathrow International Airport...The atmosphere, food, drinks amazing...Rony served us & his recommendations were spot on! Sweet Pea Mojito was a first but great..

Waiting to board a flight - ordered drinks and fries - at 2028 - told kitchen closes at 2030. Food still coming out and told firmly no! Terrible for an airport.

Stopped by for pre-flight drinks whilst waiting for our flight to be called. Nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, and no service charge included in the bill. That makes a change! Good choice.

Stopped off here for breakfast, prior to a flight to Asia. Nice decor, attentive staff, good service. A couple of things on the menu weren't available however, there was still plenty to choose from. I had the excellent full mega english breakfast - total pork fest ! My wife's GF eggs benedict were also really good. If I am going through T4 again, I would certainly give the commission a try.

Waiting for my flight I poped into The Commission to pass some time and I have to say that I acme out feeling so happy and entertained, such a great experience, especially Aga how listen to all my travel story, snore snore! was great fun and a lovely lady!! xx

Flew out from T4 last month and stopped here to have some food with a few friends. Food arrived super quick and was fantastic. Hermesh (I hope I am spelling her name right) is amazing and made us feel very welcome and looked after. Thanks!

The restaurant offers excellent breakfast choices in comfortable surroundings. The avocado and poached egg at £8.95 is particularly good. When you turn up at 6am in the morning, it was a pleasure to be greeted with a smiling face and excellent staff. Highly recommended.

I was travelling solo and Harjeet and Bartek have entertained me enormously- not only are they efficient and excellent bartenders, they are hilarious and should be on stage with a comedy act. They told me to write that they should be removed from Heathrow but in fact just the opposite - they should STAY as long as long as possible. Also, they are both VERY HANDSOME. Cheers & thanks !

Ideal place for a pre-flight meal. Service was friendly & efficient (reading earlier reviews, perhaps because it was quiet). Went for the chicken Caesar Salad, which was really very good. Decent sized and plenty of chicken, very tasted. Ordered sourdough as a side and was brought what was basically a small loaf! First slice was delicious, warm and a good crust, but the centre was still very chilled. Returned and removed from my bill without question. Despite the little hiccup with the bread, I will be visiting again.

Airports are usually super efficient because they know you have a flight to catch. Not here.

We ate here while waiting for our flight. The service was quick and staff friendly. The food was very good, we had burger and chips, and it was at a reasonable price too.

Quite large pub/restaurant in the heart of terminal 4.

Came here for lunch yesterday. Definitely more relaxed and spacious than the pub towards the other end of the terminal. The restaurant can be found to the left of security as you come into the departures lounge.

Who'd have thought that you could find such a good restaurant at an airport. For an airport venue this really is very good.

Best burger had in a long while. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for airport food. Would recommend and use again

Great welcome from smiling engaging staff. DM apologised and voided the appalling black pudding which I crumbled like a biscuit. Woeful bland scrambled eggs. Pathetic and pointless yellowing watercress garnish. D & M this is embarrassing, poor quality food which suggests a kitchen chasing margin. You've lost it with cheap eggs, wasted and voided food, and a poor review which multiplies more than the sum of its parts. You set yourself in the marketplace and in this location and occasion have massively underdelivered. I wish I'd gone to Prêt.

We had a significant delay for our KLM flight last week, and with our paltry vouchers (£4.50 each for lunch...they cannot be serious!) we sought out a good snack and a glass of wine in Terminal 4. Not a lot of choice, but fortunately the Commission came through. I really enjoyed my plate of dolmadas, hoummus, sundried tomatoes, and olives, and my boyfriend liked his fries and sandwich as well too. The glasses of wine were a sizable pour, and the seats were very comfy--more like a lounge than a restaurant. The only ding was the size of the bill--our vouchers didn't cover a tenth of it! Ouch. But that's life at LHR.

What a place. Overpriced (even by airport standards) and absolutely ghastly food. Clearly they believe that a full English Breakfast looks bigger on a small plate . Badly cooked, poached eggs like rubber and uncooked black pudding. Also the Mint tea consists of hot water and one mint leaf! When bought to the servers attention she clearly couldn’t care less. The benefits to them I guess of a transient audience. But I have voted with my feet forever!!

Good selection of draft beers - pimentos di padron lacked salt though so slight disappointment ... crispy calamari excellent - good burger and chips ... macaroni cheese also very tasty - chicken wings too sweet ...staff and service excellent - good place to chill when flight delayed!

This place ticks the box especially if you need somewhere to chill before a flight this is the first time we have used it and it did the job .

We have stopped here for coffee and a light snack before a flight twice this year, once at about 10.30 and once at 11.30. The first time, we had toast and coffee from the breakfast menu, but the second time we were presented with a lunch menu even though it was only 11.30. We were told that the breakfast menu is withdrawn at 11.30 and after that there is only the lunch menu - this seems rather inflexible as many customers may not want a full lunch. Anyway, Karolina the Polish waitress was very nice and found some pastries for us, and we found the atmosphere relaxing and pleasant and would come back again.

2 of us went here for lunch while waiting for our flight. perfect place to have a lunch break. well groomed and a reasonable price ,especially for an airport. very friendly and helpful staff. Overall we satisfied, we would recommend !!

Taking the lamb chops with tabouleh, the lamb quality was excellent but the tabouleh was cold!! No veg except little piece in the tabouleh.

Vorige keer, waarvan ik geen beoordeling heb geschreven, was het personeel niet zo enthousiast/behulpvaardig. Ik was dus een beetje terughoudend om het nog een 2e kans te geven, maar aangezien ik wel goed gegeten had hier, toch nog maar geprobeerd. Bij "binnenkomst" wordt je begroet en gevraagd wat je wil drinken of eten en krijg je de kaart gelijk mee. Ik voelde de bui al hangen, "mevrouw" straalde uit dat ze er geen zin in had, en het erg vervelend vond om van haar stoel af te moeten komen om ons een tafel toe te wijzen.... Ik maakte mij al zorgen over het vervolg........

As a norm airport is over priced and rubbish. However we had burgers, salmon etc reasonably priced and not too bad. It isn't 5* but it is not 5* pricing. Overall for an airport its good. Would go back again.

Great for a quick pre-flight breakfast. Good selection of meals, helpful and friendly staff and most importantly very quick service. Good visibility of gate screens as well so no stress. I use it regularly and recommend it. Upper end of airport food quality!

I had an awesome breakfast here with my wife prior to our departure from London. The chicken and waffle dish was so good. Very nice restaurant with great service.

A very nice lunch at The Commission. Looked after very well and had more than we could eat. We had Lunch and drinks for £ 38. Yes you are a captive audience, but as I say, well looked after!

What a ripoff, extreme high prices and tiny portions. Service team is only interested in up selling but not in food or service quality. Even the manager is very dismissive to any customer comments. Take it or leave was his approach.

A lovely restaurant in Heathrow airport, I had a wonderful fish pie which was really delicious and a lovely choice of wine too! The restaurant itself had a nice feeling and well appointed sockets for laptops which is an added bonus. The service was very efficient Greg my server was very friendly and a nice too.

Thai Curry on the menu drew us in, we’d looked at all the other eateries and nothing tempted us. We didn’t mind waiting for our freshly prepared meal while sipping a glass of wine. Our meals arrived quicker than expected. Our meal was delicious and plenty of it.

Just had breakfast here and every plate that's gone past me looks gorgeous. Our brekkie was amazing the poached eggs were perfect!!

Located at Heathrow, this place is definitely a great place to while away the time before your flight....much better ambience than usual airport bars. Not overly impressed with the food though...overpriced for the quality.

Popped in as wasn't busy when I visited Heathrow airport. Decent place with nice atmosphere and reasonably good tasting and priced food. Spaces and sockets for phone charging are a bonus. I had the fish and chips, mushy (pureed) peas were cold and the fish could've done with a couple more minutes in the fryer to crisp up. Was a little soft and fell apart easily. The chocolate brownie and ice cream and chocolate sauce was to die for! Staff were friendly if a little overrun. I would certainly recommend this place and visit again!

Good menu choices of both food and drinks. Crispy not greasy calamari and perfectly cooked buttery broccoli. Friendly and courteous staff. Good atmosphere for groups and solo travellers alike

They had a great menu and nice swift thorough service. A little pricey, but then isn't everything in the airport? I'd visit again though...

Had not seen this place before so popped in for a quick bite before my flight. Very quiet so service was good and very attentive. Food was ok, nothing outstanding but nothing to complain about either. Typical Heathrow prices which is annoying.

Very nice restaurant in Heathrow airport terminal 4. However, I would ask how late the portions are before ordering. I order avocado and poached egg for £8.50 and got 1slice of sour dough, 1 poached egg and a smudge of avocado displayed on a huge plate, whereas my husband had smoked salmon and scrambled egg which was piled high with an abundance of toast for the same price. After asking the waitress if mine was missing an egg or maybe another slice of bread she said no but understood my frustration. She was kind enough to change it for the salmon and eggs for me which was delicious.

Dropped in for my last couple of pinta before heading to Saudi. Two pints and a nive chicken blt. £22. People say thats expensive. Get a grip.. This is Heathrow. Food was good grub and the Guinness poured to perfection. An ideal place for that fill before you fly. If you're expecting silver service and restaurant style food.. Go on a cruise.

I ate dinner before my flight. Unfortunately for me the vegetarian options were not vegan but I had four sides. The green vegetables were steamed and tasty but plain. The presentation was good: four sliver-style bowls for four items. Service was friendly and quick as one expects in an airport terminal restaurant.

We were disappointed overall with our breakfast. It took a while for our order to be taken. The staff seemed very rushed despite the restaurant not being full. The food was nice but we felt it was overpriced for what it was. The bacon had more fat on it than meat.

The bar/resturant was previously known as Dining Street and has recently opened as The Commission Bar and restaurant.  We were in terminal 4 at Heathrow on Tuesday evening 25th October awaiting our Jet Airways flight to Mumbai.
