This cafe is definitely worth a visit! The staff are really friendly and the food is of a good quality and the price is reasonable too! What I love is the little touches e.g they give the food to our children in plastic plates, with kids cups and knife and forks. The sweets on the way out are a nice treat too!

Amazing food, lovely service! Attentive staff nothing we requested was too much for them to sort out for us.

Stopped off to avoid traffic on the A12 and I was pleasantly surprised! The all day breakfast was delicious, well cooked and really good quality meat. Really generous portions and tea for 1 gave me 3 massive mugs of tea! The people were lovely and I loved the Marvel vs DC decor! Definitely a place I will make a point of visiting again.

Lovely little cafe in Great Baddow. Lovely staffs. I had English Breakfast - bacons, sausage, egg, black pudding, baked beans and fried tomatoes with toasts. This is the best breakfast I have had in Chelmsford. Now I found this little cafe few mins walk from my home. Will visit again soon.

Absolutely amazing food, kind welcoming staff and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a good value breakfast/ lunch. There is a wide variety of food available from a sandwich to spaghetti bolognese. The cafe was clean and tidy, very child friendly with a high chair and a box of toys.

Always the go to place for a large cheap full English Sometimes not pristine inside but always find seating and you get what you pay for Much prefer than a Wetherspoons, always freshly cooked and hot. Will come back every time!

Nice friendly welcome, with tasty good value food. Small cafe but clean and cosy. Staff were very helpful and the cheese and ham toasted sandwich was lovely. Slightly uncomfortable having to ask for a key to the toilet, which was situated down the Lane.

I have been here twice in two days. This is a waitress service small cafe by the Bringey shops. Inside there are 5 tables and 2 outside. There is a high chair and a corner of toys as well as kiddie meals on the menu. Basically this is a breakfast cafe which has a couple of specials on the chalkboard. Today’s was lasagne with garlic bread and salad. The bread is lovely and there are many on toast options. We saw a Victoria sponge in the chiller and you can also get a toasted hot cross bun. I think it is good value and fine for breakfast/lunch.

Had been to the antique shops and wanted a drink and a bite to eat. This was the nearest. Small cafe with quick friendly service but that's the good points. Feel it was quite expensive for the portion size although the coffee was a big size and the tea came with extra water. Probably a bigger pot with two tea bags would have been better as the pouring of the said water into the pot produced a rather weak not so nice tasting second cup of tea. The coffee was advertised as grizzly bear aptly named as it made him grizzle as he couldn't bear to drink much of the bitter stuff. The lampshade above our table was so dusty!! And when paying I saw a coffee mug being taken from the shelf with fingers inside it instead of only touching the outside or using the handle.

Come here regularly.. Coffee is very nice and it's family run which I like it has a friendly vibe to it and it's very welcoming.. I always have the traditional breakfast and I think it's the best one in town and I've tried them all believe me..

Due to it being V weekend and our usual breakfast spot The original Plough being pretty full of revellers we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast! Our first port of call was The Toby but they finish serving at 10.30!!😳😳 So our next stop was the Bringy coffee shop. The establishment was busy to be fair and there only seemed to be two very nice ladies cooking and serving. Our order was taken, tea and coffee arrived fairly promptly but the same can't be said for the breakfasts. One all day breakfast and one eggs on toast with mushrooms did seem to take around 20/25 mins to arrive. The breakfast toast did not arrive with the all day breakfast and my eggs although cooked where still a little to runny for my personal preference. The biggest bug bare was the smell of frying that absorbed into your clothing as you sat waiting for your food. So a disappointed visit to The Bringy and possibly this is not usual and again may have been down to V festival patrons saturating local establishments for reasonable priced breakfast.

At £6.00 for breakfast it's good value but our baked beans were cold and the sausages had been very well cooked and then reheated.

This is a small but very friendly cafe. They produce an excellent full English breakfast as well as a wide range of other dishes. Their chips are to die for and the omlettes are delightful. If you are anywhere near Great Baddow it is well worth a visit.

Still a very good Coffee Shop, lots of choice at great prices and always really well cooked. The younger staff need a bit of a push to clean up etc, but that is what work experience is for! Great for older folk and families with young children, very welcoming.

If you want to have the best "all day" breakfast, or something else that takes your fancy, then look no further. All dishes are "home cooked", eg specials for the day such as lasagne, but I've never been able to resist the breakfast. Beautifully cooked, with generous portions (but not too much), very reasonably priced - what's not to like?

The owners are lovely and make you very welcome, food is really fresh and cooked to order. Lovely coffee shop with everything you need for a cosy catch up or brunch with the kids. Close to Chelmsford but avoiding the hustle of city centre coffee shops and their prices! Would recommend the omlette and a lovely big pot of tea!
