This is a family run business with emphasis on excellence customer service coupled with delicious food. Located on the high street in Stony Stratford there’s lots of free parking in the area. Delicious full English breakfast and dog friendly, perfect combo every time.

Popped to Stony Stratford and wanted a good cup of coffee and a bite to eat. My mum was beaten by the massive portion of beef lasagne (apparently delicious) and I had the 6 choice breakfast, which was pretty good. Just wish the waitress had mentioned that the all-day breakfast choice included toast as I ended up with two rounds of different bread.. it was all pretty good though, can't fault the food! The coffee was pretty strong and a good size cup... always appreciated :)

I have visited this cafe many times and have never had a problem, however today was a different story. My daughter and I popped in there for some lunch today. I placed the order and paid for it straight away. It was £12.20. On leaving the restaurant we were chased down the alley by one of the waitresses. I was basically accused of not paying for our meal. I explained I had paid at the beginning. She questioned me again and informed me that people normally pay at the end. I said that I had paid. This was in front of quite a few people. I felt mortified. I have never done such a thing in my life and to be accused of this was disgusting. To top it off I didn’t even get an apology. It’s a shame because the food is lovely however I will not be going back in there again or recommending it to anyone. Would just like to add I checked my bank account as soon as I returned home and payment to the amount of £12.20 has been taken.

The thing with Stony is that a vegan spot would go down very well here. And, having looked at the FB page of Bean In Stony beforehand, I was surprised that they didn’t have any options for vegans on their menu. Of course, beans on toast is always an option, so I had that. While I do enjoy beans on toast, I was a little disappointed they didn’t have any vegan alternatives and think it’d be great if they introduced some! It would definitely convince me to return, especially considering they sell delicious sounding smoothies I’m yet to try.

Stopped here for a hot chocolate to go, whilst on a walk. The hot chocolate was delicious and the service friendly.

My lovely wife and I visited this little café for breakfast one morning. Formerly the Coffee Bean, it has now rebranded as Bean in Stony following a relaunch last month. There's a good range of breakfasts to pick from - including all day breakfasts with 4, 6, 8 or 10 items, breakfast baps, eggs benedict, eggs florentine and poached egg & avocado on toast. We opted for the early bird breakfast special, which gives you 6 items, toast and unlimited tea or coffee for £6.20. Everything was tasty and great value at the price. Service was friendly & efficient and covid standards seemed good although some of the tables were perhaps a little too close together. Overall, well worth a visit if you're in Stony Stratford and fancy a good value breakfast or lunch.

We always go here for breakfast on a Saturday morning to set us up for the day. It's always tasty hot and served quickly. The girls are always friendly and chatty. We would definitely recommend this wonderful place x

Went there on a Saturday morning. It was busy but found a place easily. We had a very good breakfast and it was great value. The atmosphere was great with the cafe being set in an old pharmacy. Staff was very friendly.

Great choice of freshly cooked food available all day - including breakfast! Friendly staff. Nice to not be restricted on what you can eat anytime of day ie bacon butty to smoked salmon and scrambled egg - good coffee to ☕️

Having been to the Bletchley Coffee Bean I was keen to try the Stony version. The café is a converted old Chemists and much of the original features have been retained,giving it an olde worlde ambience.Service was friendly quick and efficient.Food was quick and plentiful.We had Paninis served with ,salad or chips or half'n'half.Excellent coffee,too!

As always, this cafe produces fast and yummy food, really well priced and accommodating for all needs including being very family friendly.

Come here for breakfast regularly, always freshly cooked and very good. The cakes are excellent too.

This cafe is great! Good homemade food, varied selection including veggie options. Don’t miss the pancakes that are not on the main menu - they are hidden with the drinks/desserts section. Hidden down a little mews in Stony Stratford it has indoor and outdoor seating. My favourite thing is the old drawers from when it used to be someplace else - and in the drawers people have left little notes.

There is a large selection of food on the menu mainly homemade and plentiful. The service was good and the food was good value for money.

Caring , courteous staff at the 'brimming ' coffee bean at stony stratford. Set back from the main road , the coffee bean has air con - much valued on hot June Sunday. Within the premises it has quaint decor & was once a chemist ( late 18th century) retaining the old style original fitted chemist drawers . We choose ham salad on granary bread , tuna mayonnaise and cheese salad . Very fresh ingredients - well worth a few minutes wait , which gave time to view the interior...nicely wrapped & with napkins.noted that breakfasts are good value.
