Have been here before and had such a great time, always good music and singers. On this particular night there was a young lady singing older songs, was a breath of fresh air, what is her name and when will she be back????

We drink here all the time great ambiance, reasonable price, nice meat platters, lovely staff. Great for old and young alike. Cool rock music! Love it!! Sue

What a disgrace! We went for evening drinks. We used the outside garden and they cleared all our wine and food inside, even though I told two members of staff we were popping outside. On returning, we were sworn at and told never to return due to the fact we left our table and we disputed our bill as we had so much unfinished food and drink. I have never experienced such disgusting service. The manager swore continuously at three professional ladies in a manner I cannot even describe. What an awful night.

Been here for coffee and cake or evening for the antipasta sharing plate and a lovely Suavignon. Very good service and always very welcoming

The place itself it lovely. I could imagine spending an evening here, relaxing with a drink in hand. I visited on a weekday and ordered 2 of their paninis - chorizo and sausage. I ordered and paid at the bar but waited at least 30 mins for my order. At no point was I approached to say there was a delay. It was only when I chased up that I got an apology. The food was average but I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and would come back again.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff and locals, good selection of drinks and snacks that sadly we didn’t try as just been out for food but will come back to try the cheese board. Great garden for chilling in good weather.

It would be nice if it had a notice to order at the bar. Also a menu on the table would be useful. Nearly empty in there so no ambience. Don’t think I’ll bother again.

Haven't been since it turned from a coffee bar into a wine bar and wish I'd visited earlier. Wed evening with a couple of friends was well spent at this friendly bar. Great decor, nice laid back vibes, good music, plenty of good quality wines to choose from and a first rate cheese and meat platter, along with tasty bruschetta. It closed pretty early but being mid-week that suited us fine. Parking was easy in the bays outside. Will definitely return and happily support a fab local venue. Oh and they still serve coffee and cake.

I love this place, there is not a lot around this area and I think they have got it right for the clientele. They have a large choice of wines and the staff are friendly. There platters are lovely.

Love this bar. A real local. Not a chain. A great well run business. My go to local. The best selection of wine and they offer a great meat and cheese board. Cannot fault it. A nice garden for the summer. They keep children out in the evenings which is fantastic

Just what every high street should have. Coffee, cake and panninis in day, gins, beers and platters at night. Nice ambience, friendly staff and small patio garden out back if you are lucky to be there when the suns out. Not the cheapest food and drink but it has such a nice feel to the place it’s worth paying. Parking is bit of a nightmare but nothing is perfect

Visited this place for the first time with a group of ex work colleagues on a Friday night and will definitely be back. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly with brilliant bar staff who seem so happy at their work and really welcoming. Wine prices are reasonable and the meat and cheese platter was amazing. This coffee bar by day turns into a vibrant bar in the evening. It’s friendly and comfortable with a lovely garden at the back. The staff are helpful and they stock a good selection of wine, beer and gin - there are light bites on offer too. A great asset to the area.

My husband had his 60th birthday hereon a Sunday afternoon in May and the owners made it a memorable day accommodating our balloons, decorations, cake and providing wonderful wines for the occasion.

I've been visiting Coffee Affair since it opened as a great coffee bar to sit and chill and maybe grab a cheeky slice of cake service always with a smile and great coffee and food.... I often fancy nipping out for a coffee in the evenings and was chatting to the proprietor who told me they were now opening in the evenings also and are selling wines and drinks... My daughter announced to me that she was cooking a romantic meal for her boyfriend a duely booted me out the house, I remembered that coffee affair were now open in the evenings, The owners and staff always so welcoming I grabbed a book and headed off and so glad I did!!!! What an amazing establishment, and evening, lovely clientele chatting sipping wine and other drinks with food... What a great friendly and happy atmosphere!!! So chilled love love love !!!! Have already recommended to all friends, can't sing it's praises enough ...

Have been during the day for a coffee .Decided to try in the evening, great atmosphere nice little outside area. Nice selection of drinks , they do a nice little food platter really enjoyed the evening.

We frequent this cafe quite regularly. Good coffee, cakes and paninis and very friendly owners and staff.

Visited Coffee Affair for the first time last weekend and it was great. First had a glass of rosé and then a few flavoured gins, all delicious and were served in the proper gin glasses which is a plus. You get table service which is different for a wine bar/pub but it's nice. The platters that were being served to people looked and smelled delicious too.

A lovely Saturday evening with a girlfriend. Wine quality very good and platters looked good. Would join the latest place to be if I had a friend to go with every week!

Really pleased that Coffee Affair decided to open in the evenings and become a wine bar. The place was heaving on a Friday evening so make sure you book. We didn't eat and the food looked nice so will happily try that next time. I would definitely recommend if you agree that the alternative local bars are not great.

Family run coffee shop. Lovely cakes, when available. Becoming more of a wine bar though which is not a positive move for us.

The Coffee Affair, is a great little local coffee shop, its serves great tasting coffee and absolutely great tasting homemade cakes, the atmosphere is like the lounge in your home comfy and homely.

Interesting place I wonder what they will do next. Really nice for a coffee and sandwich in the morning, comfy chairs and no pressure to leave. I think now it’s open as a wine bar in the evening you have to book. We like it.

The drinks here are great, my favourite the oreo milkshake. The staff are very friendly and it is in a good location easily accessible by car or foot. The panini's are also very good. Would recommend.

A short while ago my wife just casually mentioned that A Coffee Affair was serving drinks in the evening and as we were meeting friends for a meal at Mezzom I suggested going for a drink there first. I have only ever glanced in the window over the last few years and didn't realise it had been refitted. I imagined that a few customers would be having beers with the rest having tea or coffee. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that it is a really great upmarket bar and fills a niche that has been sadly missing in the area for so long. Thank you for opening it for us!

Have been in to Coffee Affair a few times since the new owners took over - lovely couple. Home baked cakes during the day and generous charcuterie and cheese boards at night and, with a good selection of wines too, what’s not to like?

Coffee Affair is a great place to pull into if you're in need of a good coffee and some top notch homemade cake in a friendly non-chain atmosphere. Recently, they have acquired a license to serve alcohol and extended their opening hours accordingly. There is a range of beers, ciders and wine available with a limited food menu (paninis and toasties are the main hot food on offer) as clearly it's not looking to compete with a pub. What I believe it has done is filled that market gap when you don't really want to go to a pub, but do fancy a quick beer and something to munch on - and it's local.

Homemade cakes, good coffee and a sensible wine list. Great to while away a few hours in a relaxed French style "cafe". Pleasant friendly staff - great place.
