Great pub with live bands, the owners are so welcoming. Would highly recommend checking it out

Girl behind the bar had more interest in talking to her friend and playing with the child and it’s toy rather then serving, when asked are u serving had a unacceptable attitude. Bar wasn’t busy at the time although I can accept it had been a busy day there is no need to be rude, just aswell I wasn’t a new customer who has just moved into the area!!!! Really disappointed and doubtful about wether I will visit again ☹️

Little unassuming pub just off the main road. we visited on Thursday eve for karaoke. The pub area is a little small but accommodating.

Fantastic Elvis night .Best live music venue in the district . Great couple who know how to put on a fabulous evening.

Haven't had food, so can't rate it, but nice friendly pub, good service, great atmosphere

Went to see a band last Friday and they were well wiked man. Loverly atmosphere and the landlord & landlady & staff were really nice. Would definitely go again.

After driving past and seeing that they had a live band playing on Saturday night my partner and I decided to attend this venue. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The band was excellent. The service swift and friendly and the atmosphere enjoyable.

Nice pub in old English style. Not expensive. Friendly staff. Went to see a few bands. Decent crowd.

Really slow bar service staff ignore you and are rude, beer is way below standard, and don't drink from the soft drink pump, only redeeming factor is the great band "Rock Solid" if I could give zero stars I would....

I love this place. So much good live music. The George has the best bands locally and very much goes out of the way to seek out new talent. Top marks!

I go the karaoke night every Thursday and it is always a great night out. They have people singing everything from chart toppers to golden oldies to heavy metal (ok that's just me) and everyone is always welcoming to new singers. There is always something happening Friday and Saturday nights from singers to bands. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

One of the best music venues in the area top class acts every weekend with its own stage, lighting and pa system open mic night every Thursday from 8 pm
