I didnt eat this time, but i will. Looks good and clean and the beer was great.

Stopped here en route and it is a lovely pub. Small car park at the rear. We both had toasties and they were plentiful and tasty. The service was attentive from the moment we walked in. The pub is dog and family friendly, it's a lovely stop.

Stopped for a Sunday lunch after a walk around the countryside. Food was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend.

Had some good times here in the past! And it hasn't changed too much ...very family oriented, dog friendly, resturant still good!

Unfortunately there was no food being served the day we popped in. However the ladies that run this well presented clean tidy pub, we're super friendly and I'd definitely return.

Lovely pub. Drinks are cheaper than in Harborough and it's been finished off really well inside. Would love a little more attention to be paid to outside though as the swings aren't really fit for use (lots of dirt on them), which was a shame for my nephew. Can't comment on the food in terms of taste but it looks fantastic when brought out to others.

An awesome pub. Pool, darts, cheap drinks, great staff. Came back on a Friday and had a really lovely meal too. I’ll be back again and again and…again

Excellent food. Great chef, food freshly made. There were 5 of us dining in, and we all enjoyed the food. Friendly staff, clean surroundings, plenty of parking. Great decor with some lovely old pictures of the pub. We will definitely eat there again.

We came for dinner on Christmas Day and it was absolutely brilliant! There were 10 of us and we each had small stockings with our names embroidered on as place settings, a Christmas cocktail on arrival, and all of the food was amazing! 3 courses of delicious food with pallet cleansers and Christmas cake and coffee after dessert. Myself and one other at our table are vegan, and our courses were all delicious, the vegan Christmas roast was amazing! The staff were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand and really friendly, couldn’t have asked for more! The 3 ladies that have taken over have done a fantastic job, everything was perfect! Thank you for making our Christmas so lovely, Imogen x

I can not comment on the food yet because iv not tried it since the new owners have taken over but its a lovely friendly pub with a classical village feel and they always keep the fire going which is lovely to sit by half way through a dog walk . The service feels genuinely lovely and I really like the pub and will frequent the establishment as my go to pub from now .

Absolutely lovely! Staff are fabulous especially Bethan nothing was too much trouble. Big smiles and welcome. Running on a small menu at present due to being new but plenty to choose from. Chose the Cumberland sausage n mash.. lovely presentation. Perfect thankyou!

Went to Lubenham for scarecrow festival (amazing) Came across this gem for a refreshing pint and hog roast - very reasonable bar prices, incredible freshly prepared food, attentive friendly staff and lovely environment - what a great place to relax Will definitely return, plenty of parking, family friendly & looking forward to trying out the regular menu

Love this pub, proper "modern" village pub, had a few meals in the past, all good, call in you will probably enjoy it, especially the garden/play area for the kids👍🏻

Used to be a decent Sunday Lunch. Think the place is under new management, can't be sure. Wasn't thrilled when visited last week. Food was ok, not gaffer was a bit rude. Place was a bit grubby.

No vegetarian or vegan food on a Sunday , rudely evicted from the dining room when we couldn’t order food as only meat available

15/10/22 New tenants have changed the location to a much more relaxed traditional pub with basic pub food. It's much more inviting.

The building is lovely, the food was great. There's just a few very basic elements that were lacking. We asked what the vegetarian option of the day was, to be told "I don't know, I don't think we've ever had one". Don't put it on the menu if it doesn't exist! Staff also didn't know what the cheesecake of the day was. A quick 5 minute briefing at the start written on a notepad makes the waiting staff so much quicker. One major slip up was with the Mars Brownie dessert, and accounts for a full star on the review. The dessert was great and the brownie one of the best I've had, but no where did the menu state the ice cream would include nuts - we figured it'd be Mars ice cream or something, but perhaps they had ran out? Fantastic food, lovely place, would go again, but make sure you highlight any allergies before you order.

Visited a couple of months back, after wanting to try this place for a while so decided to treat mum to sunday lunch. We were given the menus and immediately noticed that you could have one or two of the meats but not all three, a bit odd. There was also a vegan option but no vegetarian option so we asked the waitress for a vegetarian Sunday lunch (neither of us are big meat eaters). Waitress went off to check and came back to advise it wasn't possible. I questioned how is it not possible??? Just don't add the meat to the plate, simple! As it happened, the Sunday roast was pretty good but let down by the fact we felt forced to eat the meat on the plate.

Another really nice Country pub with a lovely restaurant,not cheap but good quality food. The drinks are at City prices the staff are attentive and friendly. On a Sunday evening many other places were closing the kitchen between 1700-1800 they serve food until 2100. When they are busy it does take time however the ambiance of the place makes up the seating is comfortable and the decor relaxing. We really enjoyed our visit.

We have been here several times early doors and the food is always delicious very friendly staff. Definitely be paying another visit very soon .

Seemed like a nice place to go and eat on a weekend afternoon.... wish I had went somewhere else. Firstly when we arrived we were looked at as if people had not seen a Black or Asian person before, it was very uncomfortable. The manager actually sighed when we walked in. Then came the food we ordered a platter which said 4 various meats from the smoker. We were given 3 different kinds of meat very dry brisket, pork ribs and wings that looked like they were coated in ketchup. Then we had the manager sit at a table near us and speak extremely loudly on his phone whilst we were eating. Next thing you know we get home and have food poisoning that night. Definitely not a great experience at all, won't be going back and I definitely do not recommend.

Food was great Great taste to all what was ordered. Nice pleasant atmosphere. Last minute decision to stop for eats best idea in a long time we shall be visiting again. Highly recommended😁👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good, value for money food and they look after their real ale as well.

Waiting almost an hour for burger and chips was frustrating, but it was made much worse by the attitude of the owner. He is just plain rude. I got poured a flat pint and asked for a head on it, his attitude stank. In all fairness the food was really nice when it arrived.

Seven of us booked in for a family pre xmas lunch, first impressions count and we found it to be a warm, welcoming and friendly pub. The Everards beer was good and the lunch was excellent. We had a great bottle of Italian merlot on the recommendation of the owner/ manager Adam. He and his staff made us welcome and his friendly manner made for a great atmosphere. I will go back next time I am in the area.

I written this with a heavy heart and empty stomach, I placed an order over an hour ago, the wrong order was given to the delivery driver and I received food neither of us could eat. Having contacted them I was told it was still their.having contacted deliveroo it then took them over 30 mind to accept the replacrment order. I am unhappy and sadly doubt I will be using their services after this fiasco. EDIT food finally arrived, OMG I can't belive they can dish out this calibre of food and not get shut down. It was the worst meal we have ever had in our lives and that takes some beating. I strongly recommend that you stay away from this place, especially for food its ghastly.

Went to a wake and found the Pub very good , the staff are Very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious . The Landlord went round and checked everything was alright . Highly recommended .

Had lunch here yesterday (Sun 30th May) and the food was exceptional. Hubby had a trio of meats roast, which he couldn't rate highly enough, and I had a Caesar Salad....best Caesar salad I've ever had! Plenty of staff, all busy continuously clearing tables and asking customers if they needed anything. Brilliant service, brilliant food and great atmosphere (a group even arrived on a steam engine!). Thanks Coach & Horses, we'll be back!

Went here today which was recommended from a family member. Amazing food, great staff and a very fast service. The smoked foods are 10/10 and the ham hock is a must try. Will be coming back again

Delicious hamburger selected from their wide range of these (something they specialise in). Not much choice otherwise but burgers must be tried. Mine was one of the best I've had in a while. Prompt staff and fast service. Nice outdoor area as posting during Covid.
