A quality, old style pub, never gets too busy. 2 pool tables and 2 dart boards. Few smaller TVs with footy on. Would recommend

Nice pub, friendly for dogs. Was really put off by posters on every wall showing a sports schedule showing only men’s games as if women do not exist in either football or rugby.

Nice looking pub however a miserable woman working the bar. Elsewhere is much more appealing.

Older fashioned pub. I like pubs that feel rooted and original. The Clyde feels historic, but on the night I went, admittedly just after christmas.... was dead and lacked life, whilst other pubs around were busy. The beer was nice though and the few people and staff there were really friendly.

Popped in for some drinks. Lovely friendly welcome and great service.

really friendly pub which is roomy but gets very busy! struggled to find a table for a while so would get there early on a weekend. £4.70 for a landlord which seems pretty standard for a Redland pub.

This pub is better than all the other boring gastro pubs in the area with no personality or most importantly pool tables. Best cues I’ve used in a pub and extremely well looked after pool tables (they have two). They also have darts. One of the only actual pubs left in Bristol.I highly recommend.

I love how chill this pub is. My husband and I were just wandering around the area when we decided to jave some refreshments and rest a bit. It was mid-afternoon so the place was quiet but the few who are there are very friendly and it felt like you've known them for a long time. There is that cozy feeling you get like being part of a community even though we were practically strangers. Service was great and the small talks were fun. I also love the witty signboards around. A good selectionof drinks and food. A cool pub with equally cool ambiance and people. Cheers!

Friendly professional staff good value for money

A very traditional pub with an ambience and ethos that would not be out of place in 1976. Don’t get me wrong, if you like being surrounded by men shouting at football on big screens and you like good beer and hard liquor, The Clyde is for you. Don’t even think about parking anywhere near. It has soul. We went there to meet old friends. Otherwise I prefer a coffee shop.

The staff are great, and the landlady really takes care of the place. There's a little outside area, board games, darts, and two excellent pool tables which are really well looked after and only 50p. Also free pool on Monday. There's a quiz machine and a fruit machine, along with a juke box. A really nice old style pub. Dog friendly!

Great service, good prices and a sense of humour - a proper pub

One of the best pubs in Bristol. Quietly tucked away in the Redland area, the pub is anything as such. Always bursting with life with an amazing team running it. Serving all the best choices of alcohol, two pool table which are 50p, a couple dart boards and a few board games meaning you'll never be bored here. Art work covers most walls, of which you're able to purchase and some of them are truly amazing,. Love the place and cant rate it highly enough.

Finest Amstel in Redland. Mind the cat.

Absolute the best pub in Bristol, beers and drinks were reasonably priced, lovely bar staff. Nice size TVs for football matches, sofa lounge in the back for more social gathering events, outside drinking areas included. Plus, you allowed to order take out to the pub which makes it 100% better.

Most homophobic pub in Bristol. Landlady was playing pool with the locals and she was jeering at paying customers!! Unheard of!! Other rough older male locals in the pub also tried to start a fight with a group of women! The bartender tried in vein to diffuse the situation but ultimately took the side of the homophobic men and asked the ladies to leave. So disappointing!! After witnessing such behaviour will never even consider going back. There's no shortage of MUCH nicer pubs in this area who I'd prefer to give my money to... Try The Shakespeare, The Kenny (Kensington Arms), The Penny, Cotham Porter Stores or The Green Man to name a few...

Just got back from a weekend away with some friends and we were lucky enough to stumble across this gem of a pub. It's maybe not the place to go for a romantic meal but it's a fantastic, 100% bang-on, old-school boozer with friendly bar staff, a juke box that doesn't cost you a second mortgage and two great quality pool tables. If do find yourself feeling peckish whilst you're there then you can still treat yourself to some of the worlds finest Monster Munch (multiple flavours, classy) and Scampi Fries. The only thing that I wouldn't recommend about the place is challenging the landlady to a game of pool. Unless, of course, you actually enjoy getting your butt soundly kicked or you like getting taken down a peg or two in front of your mates. Definitely in the top-ten pubs (at least) of all time.

Brilliant pub with Amazing staff and a all round friendly atmosphere. This pub gives you 2 pool tables 2 dart boards as well as various other things like chess and fruit machines so there's something there for everyone's needs. Definitely worth going to and enjoying a nice drink while watching sports on one of the three big drop down screens they also have.

Hostile atmosphere, their locals literally stare you out of the place, felt uneasy and had to leave. Place was also smelly and dirty.

Maria runs a blokey pubbie pub, two pool tables, rolls on the bar, beer beer n beer juke box, and i can roll or crawl home.

The Clyde, my local and visit The Clyde a few times a month. Good range of drinks and is very nice. With pool tables and dart board.

Good little boozer, free pool on Mondays! Classic cheese and onion or ham and mustard rolls. Old style pub decor which I like. Clean, good atmospheres when I’ve been in the evenings and friendly staff. Have had good times in here!

Very nasty experience - place infested with rats, was ill for weeks after visiting there and had to take time off work. Would give it zero stars if I could. AVOID AT ALL COST

This place has gone down hill, beers aren't great, decor was very tired and there was a strong bleachy smell. That being said it's a pub for locals and they seemed happy. Staff were nice!

It's an ok place to go. Very traditional which is big tick and a large venue. Felt a bit awkward and quiet when we went early evening.

Unfortunately there wasn't much atmosphere at the time that we went.

Quality pub. Really nice interior decor, its well maintained and the seating is comfortable and cozy. Has a good quality pool table and they show the sport there as well. Bar staff are friendly.

Weird pub. Looks great, quaint and old style interior which I is great. But the locals just run it down to a 1 star. Clicky crowd of 20 odd that hang around at the bar as if they own the place, dogging up anyone new that walks in the door and stares over until they basically leave. I have moved in down the road, this is my closest pub but I wont be going back. Shame. Once the current locals die off it'll be alright.

Cheap pool and free darts, lovely environment in the heart of Redland. We went on a Saturday night and it was lovely and quiet, unlike some of the other pubs on the main road, but busy enough to know it is a good place to have a drink with friends

I've been here a couple of times now. The first time I went there was a good atmosphere and we had no complaints at all but the last time the staff behind the bar were arguing while serving us and then one of the staff walked out. The person serivng us was very apologetic, and had been trying to stop the argument in front of us the whole time, but it did spoil the vibe a bit. Then my friend couldn't finish her pint because it tasted really bad, "like there is cider in my beer" bad. No complaint was made at the time though as the one remaining person at the bar, the polite one, seemed to already be having a bad day.

A lovely traditional pub with stained glass windows and a good selection of real ales - do a cracking free quiz, on a tuesday I think, and everyone we met was very friendly - highly recommended
