Amazing tacos and daiquiries! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu

The wife and I were totally blown away by how incredible the food was. Well worth the walk from the city centre. Batida will be top of the list when we return to Bristol.

Went for the bottomless brunch 4-6pm. Service was great and food was delicious.

First time visiting here and first time at at a South American style restaurant, absolutely 100% worth it , the food was delicious ( hot wings ……. Wow) All hot and generous servings , all fresh and super tasty . The service was excellent and catered for the kids just fine . Massive shoutout to owner and dan for a lovely meal , we will be back 🙌

Went here for a drink on a Saturday night. Service took 30 minutes to take our order and when they did they created a problem about my friend’s id. After that the manager came over and very condescendingly treated a group of 21 year olds like children claiming that we had been rude to the server when he asked to see if one of us had any proof we went to university as Id. The manager then told us that they would serve us one drink and then they would kick us out. Thankfully the speed of service had been terrible again so we were able to leave without our drinks being served. Place also smells poorly

We ordered drinks as part of the lunch menu, and then waited 40 minutes for service to order food. I let the bar staff know and ended up waiting another 10 minutes, before finally giving up and leaving. The waitress that I’d settled the asked bill was kind enough to write off the drinks due to the wait. Left hungry and frustrated :(

Bottomless brunch had to wait for drinks. You could only order at one time. By the time I finished drink and order another one, it was 25 minutes wait.

Food was decent and the cocktails were nice, hard to grab attention of waitress and when we did service took too long, was left without a drink during bottomless brunch for far too long which I haven’t experienced at bottomless brunch before. Sauces we asked for were never brought out, plates took a while to be cleared.

Lovely stuff. Sometimes a little hard to catch a waiter's attention. Eat here though, I'll be back.

Nice atmosphere but food was disappointing, tasteless and cold. Very watery cocktails. Also, hardly had anything that was on the menu.

Amazing food, average service (being nice) Love Batida, one of my favourite places to go for Mexican. Although some of the service was not ok. 30 minutes for tap water after asking 4 times is never a good sign of a decent meal! However the food is unreal and if you’re a small booking. You will have a great time

Batida were so accommodating when hosting me and my 3 friends this evening! The food was incredible; especially the chicken enchiladas and prawn tostadas! The service was great and the atmosphere and interior is so lovely! I will 100% be recommending to others and look forward to returning in the New Year!

Portion sizes great, and the quality of the meat was great too (I got pork belly, my boyfriend got beef). There was just something a little lacking in the meal, felt like something that I could quite easily rustle up for dinner rather than going out, not that that's a bad thing, just didn't feel particularly special. The atmosphere was great and staff were lovely though! I would definitely go back for the happy hours also, times seem good and my Margherita was divine :)

Went here by chance for drinks , what a great place to go. Great choice of drinks with some choices you'd not see in other places. The staff were great and looked after us really well. Would definitely go again. We didn't eat there but the food looked good.

The service and food was fabulous our waiter was very attentive. Ill definitely be back. Well priced too! I think their could be a coat rail could be moved to somewhere that isn't over someone's table but that's my only suggestion

Had a perfect time at Batida! We had Dylan serving us and he was amazing! Normally it takes so long to get drinks at a bottomless Brunch but Dylan was keeping us well topped up! Great food, great atmosphere, would 100% recommend

Very bad and ridiculous service from waitress and thier staff. Providing 3rd class food which is totally unfresh and cheap. Totally waste of time and money.

Honestly did not disappoint, was super impressed with the rack of ribs and the cocktails made. Very delicious all round! Nice choice of food, something a bit different to the usual which is what we like. Went here pre Everyman cinema, which is across the road. Staff was super friendly and helpful, overall a lovely experience and would recommend it to anyone. Solid A***** LDT x

Came here to Batida for bottomless brunch with friends - really good value for money. The food was great and the staff were lovely and very accommodating - definitely coming back here again!

Want to give 4* but unfortunately can't. Went in by myself, ordered 3 items from the menu. Unfortunately it took almost an hour for all 3 plates to make it out the kitchen, and when they finally did, one of them was not what I ordered. OK, it was busy, mistakes happen, you hit the wrong button on the till - it's not a problem at all. I was swiftly offered a refund for this mistake. But for it to take almost an hour for essentially 2 plates to come out (the third mistake dish was a bar snack) is not really OK. I appreciate that it was 7pm on valentines day, but as a table of 1, I wasn't there to linger for 1.5 hours and drink two bottles of wine. As for the food, the aji chicken was really excellent, but the birria tacos were a bit... flat. Meat was a bit dry, it didn't really pop at all. The corn tacos themselves were very good.

If you are looking for a good place to have drinks and good vibes I would come here, even get some starters. Just be aware that what’s supposed to be “Latin food” doesn’t resemble it at all. Me and my friends all ordered lomo saltado and got this kind of spicy stew with a bland rice. I get you can’t find the same thing in the UK, but I couldn’t even find the inspiration from a lomo saltado in the dish that we were served. I wouldn’t recommend going there if you are looking for Latin food, it’s not good, we left pretty disappointed

Great Sunday Roast experience with lovely food from Clifton Roasties pop up, and great cocktails and wine, really good!!

Food was amazing, service was amazing. Only critique would be the volume of the music making it so you have to speak quite loudly to your table and the low light which makes reading the menu a little difficult.

We have been waiting for two hours and the food still hasn’t arrived yet. The place is clearly overbooked, and the food is arriving very slowly. Even if the food will be good it will not have been worth our wasted evening.

I am Peruvian, and I have tried this restaurant twice. Firstly, service and atmosphere were really nice. Latin American music creates a proper LatAm vibe. You will have a variety of dishes from different countries. Drinks are ok, but consider that I didn’t order cocktails. Food. Unfortunately, we weren’t 100% happy with the food. Don’t get me wrong, it was ok, but - as a Peruvian-, I was expecting something different. I ordered a “Lomo Saltado” however as you can see from the picture this wasn’t true Lomo Saltado. Peruvian-inspired maybe, but not truly Peruvian.

Before we walked in, The servers seemed annoyed as we were the first customers there. The service was okay nothing bad but the entrance brought everything down. The burgers we had was very salty but the chips was nice. The starters we had were the gambas, patatas bravas and calamari. Only the last two I would say was tasty and value for money. Overall was okay but would not visit again. The margaritas was okay as well but I think they were premade.

This place is awful, I ordered cocktails at 8pm and then at 21:45 they told us the kitchen closed, they couldn’t serve us anymore! We wanted to order food & no one came to serve us, we waited outside for nearly 2 hours and no one ever even looked at us, so disappointed with the service. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤧🤧🤮

This was the worst experience I have ever had We arrived and they made us wait for 30 min We then got to sit outside by 5 degrees and ordered some drinks After 40 min of waiting and casually reminding the staff the drinks didn’t arrive We then tried to order food and after taking our order they announced to us that the kitchen had been closed NO OTHER CHOICE THAN TO LEAVE THIS MISERABLE ESTABLISHMENT

First time trying Batida after seeing some decent reviews online and overall it did not disappoint! Don't be fooled by the reasonably small exterior as it's quite spacious inside, spread over 2 floors. The staff were all really friendly and whilst it took a little while to get initially served, I appreciate it was a Saturday night and extremely busy so not a huge issue. Once served food and drinks arrived pretty quickly! The cocktails were all really tasty and reasonably priced too, with a decent sized menu so plenty to try. The food was great, we opted for multiple small dishes to share rather than an individual meal each and I think that is definitely the way to go as again there were lots of great options to chose from on the menu. Whilst big inside there are lots of tables so it can be quite cosy so perhaps not one if you were looking for a much quieter meal out. There is also a cigar menu if that's your thing as well, so you're well catered for. Overall a great experience, well priced, decent food and drinks and definitely one I would go back to without hesitation!

Lovely festive Fridays bottomless brunch, 5* service by Abi!

Someone needs to train their staff on customer service. We had booked online for a party of 4 people. To which we were running late too. After calling them to inform that we’re running late (7mins). We were told that due to the restaurant being quiet, the kitchen will be closed if we can’t make it on time. Upon arriving we discovered the place was actually busy and not as quiet as they mentioned over the phone, the person attended our table had no clue why we were told that and could not identify the individual who answered the phone. The food was below average. I ordered the steak sandwich which was drier than Gandhi’s flip flops, chewy steak and served cold!! Some fancy mocktail which had about 80% ice because I only got 3 sips out of it. Would I go there again? No definitely not.

First time visiting Batida and it was great! We got the offer of choosing a bottomless brunch which was a really great experience, the food and drinks were delicious and worth every penny and Sam, our waiter was really friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Went on Friday afternoon and had the lunch deal which was good value. Food was great and filling. It was very quiet so the service was good and the staff friendly. Did have to lift our pram down into the restaurant as it's not particularly accessible. Aside from this not much to fault on our visit.

Firstly the food was brilliant. The rest was shocking though: - it took 4 hours for our prebooked group to eat 2 courses and pay.. every order of drinks or minor request took at least 30 minutes. - the tap water tasted like pool water somehow? Undrinkable but we didn’t mention it as there were so many other issues - they had an offer on their menu of 6 margaritas and 3 beers for £35 but said the bar staff refused to accept us ordering this. Instead we ordered 6 individual margaritas and 3 beers but said we expected to pay £35, the waitress laughed and nodded but when she brought the bill it was instead ~£62 for these items.. we did this twice so they tried to overcharge us by ~£32.. they still refused to budge so the only way to get the money back was to remove the service charge and withdraw any tip. - they also ran out of empanadas but still tried to charge us for them (£14) - everything was just so slow.. any drinks, food, getting plates, iterations of the bill.. I’d love to come back for the food but it’s not worth the level of service… they had loads of staff but they just seemed like they were all on a trial shift on a Saturday night or something? Hope they improve either way 🤷🏼‍♂️

We fancied a cocktail and after initially trying HMSS, which was full, spotted the cocktail advertising sign outside Batida and so gave it a go. Good location and the staff were friendly enough. However they'd run out of rum and vermouth (minus one star), which is a little surprising for a cocktail bar. The cocktail measures were also a little measley to say the least (minus second star). Didn't eat any food so can't comment on that.

Had a wonderful bottomless brunch here with a dear friend of mine. We drank tequila sunrise to our hearts content for 2 hours. A must go if you are a fan of numerous cocktails within a short timeframe.

Would definitely recommend bottomless brunch here over going to a chain! Great choice of cocktails and they actually taste great unlike someone bottomless brunches offer! Our server was great and was there whenever we needed her, thank you!!

Great tasting food and value for money

We booked batida for my friends hen do & were completely blown away by our experience there! We did have a meal booked elsewhere to begin with, but unfortunately this was cancelled with less than a weeks notice. Batida managed to get all 15 of us in and had us seated in a private area which was so lovely. We all absolutely loved the food - the pulled pork quesadillas are by far the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter, Arthur, was wonderful and so tolerant of the noise😂 I couldn’t recommend batida enough - I/we will most definitely be back!
