I dropped my wallet after stopping for a pint while waiting for the bus. I phone in and the guys were so helpful. Got wallet back, polite friendly honest. Sound staff! I might just take a later bus from now on. Thanks guys

Expensive place with broken locks on the toilet, limescale on the taps and muk in all the cracks. Also, customer only toilets, even though it's always empty and most of the bathroom is in disrepair, lol. Clearly not doing well. Can't compete with any spoons

Didn't have the greatest selection of drinks when we went, seemed like they just didn't have the stock, especially of nonalcoholic options. However really friendly staff, good bar snacks, and a good place to watch a game.

Isn't much surprised that this good looking pub is empty.... when bar staff telling you they are not interested for coming missing beer because he's don't like it....... hmm, maybe for this bar staff is time to change job... just go to some food factory to packing sausages all year....so, don't know what I can say about this pub.... maybe in future will be good when is put to Sarah hand. Not now, sadly .

Cracking place, incredible experience and great if your a blue light holder. Tom (bartender) was a great character who made the experience much better and more accommodating for us.

Lovely friendly place to come and drink, me and my boyfriend were visiting and can say I’ve never felt more welcomed into a place, all bar staff over all nights were so lovely and welcoming and really made our stay in Sheffield, big shout out to them who made it extra special and enjoyable for us

Called in Saturday afternoon and the service was first class and drinks were excellent. Many thanks to the staff and management. Highly recommended.

It WAS a lot better before the Police and their killjoy ways got involved. Problem now is, they've dispersed the crowd instead of keeping them all in one place, socialising being happy. You can get served quicker, for now, but at the expense of atmosphere and custom. Proper great boozer there, been houng there for years

Had a good few nights in The Clubhouse whilst in Sheffield for a hockey tournament. The staff are lovely, lots of choice of tasty beers on tap and plenty of seating inside and some outside too. Close to the city centre and takeaways depending on how you want to continue your night out! Will be visiting again.

Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Love popping in here for either a drink or food.

We visited The Clubhouse after we had been to watch a football match at Sheffield Uniteds ground we found the pub had so many beers on offer and staff were very polite.We were told by locals that this was not the place to be as we were away fans but we kept a low profile and enjoyed our drinks.

Service could've been better. We were left at the bar thinking we were next in line, but a staff member just left the bar with no explanation. Ok, they went to get food, but a little acknowledgment wouldn't go amiss.

WingKing Wednesday's are the one. ⚡ Apart from one of the punters trying to attack (with a pool stick) and shouting racially slurs at the wing kings chef doing his job by serving customers, it was a nice atmosphere until then. Police where called upon, but the Wing King kept his cool and kept things professional.

Down to earth and friendly bar staff, extremely delicious pub food, and a great selection of beverages! It has a singular pool table, a few bandits, I don't know how many TV's to watch football 🤣 but it's a great Bar/pub for any type of night out. It does get really busy during football matches and certain days throughout the week, but if you time it right, it can also be a quiet place to chill!

Nice friendly place mid-week. Pool table was squeezed into a nook that made it impossible to play half the table. Reasonable selection of drinks available.

A big fan of this place. I work over this way every now and then and always make sure we go for wing Wednesday. They're huge wings and cheap, a nice variety of sauces. Good selection to of alcoholic beverages and live sport. Being a southerner at first I was slightly intimidated but the northern feel of this place is really welcoming and you can have a great laugh with all there.

Sports bar and 'Free pub'. Contrary to what you may think, it doesn't mean free food and drinks. It does, however, mean that it isn't tied to a specific brewery and therefore you can find ales, lagers, stouts and ciders from a wide range of brewers. And what goes better with a pint or two than a good burger or some half priced chicken wings (on Wings Wednesdays).

Really nice atmosphere here, staff can't be faulted at all, they're really kind and service is quick. Only wish the tables were laid out a bit differently but it was an event we were there for so maybe that was why. The football chanting was nice but... after an hour was too much. Oh and... apparently no loo roll in the men's so that needs to be checked more often!

Went here for Portugal v Germany match...lots of great screens including a large projector screen...food was lovely and good choice, plenty of ales and other beers and friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend and return sometime 👍🏼⚽

Entré específicamente para ver el fútbol y comer algo, todas esas casillas estaban marcadas perfectamente. Las restricciones de Covid están vigentes, regístrese en la puerta, asignó una mesa y se tomó rápidamente un pedido de comida. Fui por el desayuno vegetariano durante todo el día que superó las expectativas, el servicio de mesa fue excelente en todo momento, el personal revisaba las mesas regularmente para los pedidos y compraba bebidas rápidamente. Un montón de pantallas alrededor para ver el partido, el personal fue muy atento y rápido, en circunstancias muy difíciles, han hecho un gran trabajo para cumplir con las reglas y definitivamente obtendrán mi costumbre en el futuro.

Personal increíblemente grosero. ¡Más interesados en hablar con sus amigos que estaban en el pub sin darse cuenta de los clientes! La comida era realmente insípida, lo cual fue decepcionante y el personal me enojó cuando pedí, ¡obviamente querían terminar temprano! La cerveza estaba plana y no muy fría, en general, ¡es un lugar que recomendaría a la gente que evite!

Amazing food. Massive portions and very cost effective. Mac n Cheese balls are a solid 10/10. Dirty fries dishes are to be loved. Shout out to Emma for amazing customer service and making us all feel welcomed.

A great bar . Some really nice real ales at all times and the prices are right . There was one girl who didn't like to serve us or it seems anyone else , but the rest of the staff where great.

Unbelievably rude staff! More interested in talking to their friends who were in the pub not even noticing customers! Food was really bland which was disappointing and I was huffed at by staff when I ordered, obviously they wanted an early finish! The beer was flat and not very cold, all in all it’s somewhere I would urge people to avoid!

Absolutely brilliant, couldn't fault the place if I tried! What I thought was going to be an average bar experience, was completely flipped on its head. From some of the nicest and most genuine staff I've ever seen, to quite an extensive menu and the food was delicious. I Will definitely be returning!

Looks unassuming from the outside but every aspect is amazing. Staff are friendly, massive selection of every kind of drink, great cask beers. The food is genuinely incredible, it's as good as any pub you'll ever find and amazingly cheap considering how good and varied it is. One of my favourite places to go.

Visited the clubhouse today with my boyfriend after discovering the amazing reviews. It certainly didn’t disappoint! The lady serving us was so helpful and friendly which made the experience so positive. We ordered the pizza burger and pit burger and they were both amazing! Will definitely be returning!

Popped in on way home for something quick to eat. Lots on menu, we had chicken, bacon guacamole burger, bbq burger with pulled pork and a hotdog with pulled pork. Served with skin on fries or curly fries. Everything really tasty, no issues whatsoever(apart from son finishing my lovely fries!)

Had the burger with manchego, with curly fries. We had Nacho's to share. Everything was excellent. This cook cares about food and it shows.would definitely recommend.

If you are Gluten Free this will tick a huge box for you! The food was delicious, probably the best Pub Food we have had. Tip: Go for the Nachos, even at Gluten free it was proper tortilla bread cooked to perfection! It was well priced, we went during the eat out scheme but would have paid full price for anything they have. I will be returning again. Thank you

Popped in here while on a visit to Sheffield. Our server was charming and the food arrived really quickly. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and you know it is great value when you struggle to finish the portions. I would recommend the BBQ Pit Burger, one of the nicest burgers I've had.

came tp Sheffield to follow our football team, and as always looked for a 'local' for 2/3 days - really enjoyed the Clubhouse which was our adopted home during our visit, very friendly staff, great beer and great atmosphere - will be returning when football brings us back to the city

This is a place we frequent on a match day for drinks but decided to try out when staying up for the weekend. Both me and my other half had the fish and chips. They were AMAZING!!! Also tried the prawns and cheese garlic bread...

Saturday afternoon.... Pretty quiet as in numbers of people, watching match on numerous TV'S.... Big spacious bar area.. Typical local pub... Friendly staff.. Beautiful black & white tiled floor!! We got there about 3.30pm.... (quiet) Looks like it gears up for busy " standing room only" Lather on!!

I wouldn't normally write a review based on a chip butty, but Christ, it was perfection. Chips was double fried to perfection, homemade slaw, quality bread, even the presentation was nice (served on a board with a basket of chips).

My wife and I used to call here about 40 years ago when it was called the hermitage this is the first time since We called in after the Sheffield United match Brought back a lot of memories

Very nice in the main area and bigger than you might expect. There's an upstairs area that as far as we could tell, just exists for them to tell you not to go up there (something that kept happening through the night. They need a sign!). The gents toilets were, however, quite poor and no lock on the door. Nice drink selection and they have a pool table. Very bright.
