Food is great freshly cooked. Service was a bit slow as they had a lot of phone orders .

That new girl is deffo on summat so I’ll giv it a 5+ star rating if only you sold what she was on it would be 6 stars

Been ordering here on and off past 2 years. Never had a bad meal and in fact fish n chips and kebab have been good. The very first time in 2 years I had 1 item missing. Phoned them and within 5 mins it was delivered. Absolutely spot on. 👌 great service. 👍 keep it up.

I'm sure that I am not alone in judging a chip shop by how much is left on the top shelf, simultaneously sweating and drying out, under a climate crisis inducing heat lamp... No such problems here, even the chips were straight out of the fryer. Don't be put off, I've waited far longer for a pint of Guinness, with a shamrock pattern on the head, than we had to wait here, and boy was it worth it?.. Best chips this side of Shrewsbury!.. That's another story. Staff that I could see were all friendly, and without meaning to be inappropriate, beautiful. More importantly, the shadowy figure lurking behind the fryers is a master of their craft, and my only regret is that the place was closed before the match, because I could have easily coped with double helpings... Just like Shrewsbury.

Myself and a friend have, for a while now bought some lovely fish + chips, salad, mushy peas, curry sauce…..and have been greatly impressed by their freshness + taste……the chips are wonderfully hot and not underdone like some of their Kidderminster contemporaries! 😂😋😋 always look forward to having a takeout from them! Lovely chips and battered sausages. Some of the best i've had. And know from previous visit the fish is really good. And with great service. No complaints. Will have to get back there more often.

Been coming here for years. I phoned up to order tonight for elderly parents after arranging a few days ago as a treat, exactly as i did a few months ago. I was told i couldnt order on the phone any more & that orders must be made online. So what the hell do people do if they are no able to get online? Not very inclusive! I wont be going here again. Pathetic!

Firstly this has been my go to place for the past three years. No issues with the food or service previously at all. However I visited today to see the staff at the front masked up as expected but with two others meandering around the back preparing food with no masks on whatsoever. What’s the point in paying lip service to safety at the front when they can’t be arsed round the back which, by the way, is open for all to see? Annoyed me enough to leave my place in the queue and drive two mikes out the way.

Not bad, had to wait to chips but they was fresh and tasty, fish was ok, their curry sauce could be a tad extra salt but that's preference, and the tinned roe is sound, prices ain't bad either

Just had comfortably the best fish and chips I've had since moving to the Midlands. Portions reasonable, food delicious, pricing fair, service quick (just make sure you stick to the one way system in place and don't wait outside once youve made your order :p). Very much recommended!

Staff where is full protective gear, screens up and only 2 people in the shop at the time 2 meters apart, quick service when ordering as having 2 people serving you at the same time so not standing around for a long time!!! Fish was fab fresh and hot and veg friendly staff

One of my three favourite chippies in Worcestershire.

On a Friday we enjoy fish and chips, and being a local shop, lately the chips were luke warm and the fish wasn't good, possibly cooked a lot earlier and then not at it's best. This happened on several occasions. The time purchased was at tea time, therefore should be fresh and hot, but not so!

I moved to the area last year and tried a few chip shops, this was the best one. Easy to park outside, good staff and great Fish & Chips.

Asked for a large chips. Paid for a large chips. But what we got was a little polystyrene tray of chips. Would love to see the difference between a cone, regular and there large portions. Be stunned if there's a difference. A large chip should go round a family of 4 but we could count our chips on each plate with a glance. Thinks it's best they keep their valuable chips and I'll keep my money in future. Picture posted

Called in for 2 mini fish specials. Ended up with 2 fish about 3 inches long a(goldfish thesize) majority of the chips were green and under cooked. All for £8 !!! should be called," micro fish special". I'm cooking out of the deepfreeze next time......it's not worth being out pocket or the risk of being dissapointed.....sorry team.

Discussed been going there for years but tonight was asked to pay 50p extra to have my food in the cardboard box I have every week rather than a polystiring tray as i have an alergy to the trays but tonight the dragon cooking decides I need to pay for the box what a horrer of a woman.... And up date on my review Following speaking to the owner about my experiance I am pleased to Inform that the matter has been resolved he promised me he would speak to his staff about their attiude and scrap the 50p charge for a meal in a cardboard box rather than a tray. I would also add he did not know of this charge and was very helpfull in sorting out this matter Food was excallent as usual tonight

We recently moved so this is our local chippy, we decided to have a lunch from here. £1.70 for a portion of chips, that is the size of a tray that is 12 cm by 16 cm. This is usually a cone size everywhere else! We were shocked when we opened it up, as we share the chips. The chips themselves weren't anything to write home about as they were meant to have salt and vinegar on, a load of salt and hardly any vinegar. My bf had a large battered sausage that was over-fried and chewy, my scallop was very greasy and soggy. The service was friendly and fast however, won't deny that. Won't be going here again I'm afraid, we'll stick to Sutton Road chippy as this is a far cry from what they serve in quality and quantity.

I stopped for a take away Kebab on the way home one night about 6 weeks ago the problem that I had was that there was no meat whatsoever in the Pita so it was a salad kebab! As I was home which is about 5 miles away before I opened my meal it was too late to do anything about it so definately won't be using this place again! My Pals meal was greasy and manky so all in all a disastrous meal. I was charged for two meals and didn't get one!! Cannot recommend....

This is our local fish and chip shop that we always use. The food is good and the staff are always friendly. With the the amount of chip shops in Kidderminster this one is worth a visit.

Was recommended to get a chippy tea from The Chip Inn whilst visiting family in Kidderminster last week. What a gem! Great selection of food, very efficient service and reasonably priced. I had southern fried chicken and others had cod and chips and we were all delighted. Will definitely use again when passing

Love this place no complaints always hot and enjoyable

We were stuck thinking about what to have for tea last Friday night. So on the way home from her work my girlfriend rang me and said shell we have chips. So I agreed so on her way home she stopped at the chip inn in Kidderminster. Now we have used this chip shop a few times and the portions have always been far from large. But the food has always been cook well. But not the case this time. I didn't want much on this particular evening which was just as well. So the order was a portion of chip and two scollops and my girlfriend just had a fish cake. Well the fish cake was hard like it had been in the warmer for a week. My portion of chips was well let's say a 1/4 portion and that is beening very kind. As for the scollops I think they must of only been dipped in the fryer for seconds as there were still totally raw. So they went straight into the bin. I did manage to bulk out the chips with bread and butter but that really is not the point. Won't be going there again and will be telling all my customers the same.
