The China Garden Express (Clapham) in Wandsworth

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! We ordered from this restaurant on a Sunday night with Deliveroo. Our food took two hours to come and the restaurant continuously told us it was on the way. After 1.5 hours they stopped answering the phone so we had no idea if it was coming or not. Food was completely inedible, bad quality meat and absolutely tasteless. Incredibly bad experience and don’t bother wasting your time!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS My Brother ordered on deliveroo and tracked the delivery when the site said “delivery lost”, he then contacted deliveroo who asked him to contact the restaurant as they handle their own deliveries. He rang and rang and after many attempts, somebody picked up and then hung up on him when he tried to explain the situation. I then tried to call and had the same problem. They have taken his money and not provided him food. We will be taking this company to the small claims court.

Worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. Arrived 1.5 hours late and the food was barely edible.

Ordered on JustEats and never came. Rang the restaurant and they told me "It'll be there in 10minutes, definitely". Absolute joke.

Tasteless, I had the pad Thai and dumplings, would not recommend

Disgusting food - worst I have ever had from a takeaway! This is not Chinese food - everything greasy and cold with an odd taste from the sweet and sour! Order was late - person on the phone rude! Avoid, avoid and avoid!!

It was an absolute delight to experience China Garden Express, the food is excellent and the service was as though you're a guest in a loving home. Would highly recommend, and try to skip lunch so you can really explore the menu :) The dumpling soup (can't remember the name), bread and stir fry chicken noodles were delightful, as was the sauce which came with the manta dumplings. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed!

Thought we would give this a go after receiving a flyer through door. Only ordered 4 items, and instead of the vegetable dim sum we got prawn dim sum (which my wife is allergic to) so we couldn’t eat. We understand mistakes happen so we emailed twice to inform them of the error and to ask for a refund for the dim sum. No reply. Disappointing. Will not use again.

Been waiting for over an hour. I don't think this company is legit. No way are the reviews real.

Expensive for what it is. Smallish portions and not that great. Nice staff though.
