I went to this cafe after I read the google reviews which claimed this cafe serve the best coffee. As a coffee lover, I went with my companion but as soon as we arrived to the area looked run-down and we felt it would be unsafe to walk in it after sunset. we found the cafe and went in for a coffee and a sandwich, there was no customer there apart from one woman sitting in front of a laptop. The owner welcomed us warmly but we found very limited choices of sandwiches, we asked if we could have something else so the owner turned to the woman and asked her if she can make us a different filling sandwich, she replied without lifting her eyes from the laptop that they run out of bread so we ended up eating what they have, my companion felt ill afterward, when we complained the owner turned nasty and the woman (which we found out it was his wife) started swearing, I thought to myself if you have lifted your big a*s and made us a different sandwich this will never have happened. the coffee wasn't anything special, I thought they probably gave free coffee to people wrote the google reviews in return to writing these reviews.Overall, the coffee is basic, the food is few homemade overpriced sandwiches, the place is very small and the people run the place are rude.

Firstly, the positives. I couldn't complain about the food as it was exceptional. Now the negatives. Service was so slow. We were a party of 3, so not particularly a big party, but the service was just a poor excuse. Our mains arrived with our empty starter dishes still sitting on the table. It took 20 minutes for our mains to be cleared and then another 30 minutes to order the desert and have it arrive at the table. Save your money, they're hundreds of different places to go with much better service.

Waited over an hour to get in! We queued up to get in for the final of the six nations getting to the back of the queue at the end of the first half, queue moved relatively quickly untill we were about 8 from the front. There was then a freeze on entry and despite over 30 people leaving no one else was allowed in. We were told to wait for the rugby to finish to come in and waited a further 15 mins after the end of the match before leaving the queue. Poor from the doorman or management as the outside has plenty of space including empty tables. It was at least 3 times busier when I came here for new years so not sure why we were kept waiting so long. Communication is important to customers.
