The quality is poor for the price paid.

Got much better but a little too spicy

Substandard food for premium prices. Food was luke warm at best, chicken wings discoloured on the inside, and to top it off - portion sizes are ridiculously small!

The chicken tenders are bussing. Amazing seasoning, flavour, and the place is sick.

Food here is unreal !!! Once you order it will become an addiction you didn't know you needed ... the loaded fries and chicken strips !!! We ordered last year and now safe to say myself and the other half are regulars

This place was absolutely amazing. Came here for a bite to eat from Birmingham and honestly, in terms of quality, this place trumps many reputable burger places. The smash burger was the best thing that I had here. The chips were well seasoned too. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the Rugby area. Easily the best place in Rugby.

Had a simple order of cheesy fries, loaded fries and popcorn chicken - was disappointing to say the least, considering the cost. chips were mid, cheese was barely there. Loaded fries came with a cheese sauce which wasn’t in the description - was also insulated sweet for cheese. Popcorn chicken was over cooked, chewy.

This place sells bloody way more expensive than known specialty burger places in Birmingham and kfc 😂 😂 and portion is small , large fries price and its portion is a joke how on earth do you think customer will still buy food from you or probably you’re just not aware of the business strategy 🤦🏻‍♂️

Solid choice, get what you pay for, good delivery time and food was nice - arrived hot and fresh (not soggy at all). Only dropped a star because I ordered the classic burger and it didn't come with any pickles as the menu suggested.

I live very close to this restaurant and I order their chicken wings a lot and they are the best I’ve ever had with lots of flavouring and the people serving are super nice and friendly! Everything is so clean and pristine love it!

Ordered a veggie burger from them for the first time tonight, my food showed up fast and still hot. The delivery driver was very polite and the food was amazing, highly recommend these guys. I will be ordering again

I must admit that for a small family business, they are doing a commendable job feeding the people of rugby. There aren't many places that care about providing their local communities with quality food, and if when things do go wrong as you would expect in any business, they handle the query professionally

Not too sure about the brioche bun burgers but, the Naga Doner is amazing..

We ordered the Pacino burger and the Capone burger as well as spicy cheese bites and mozzarella sticks. The Capone burger did not taste nice at all. It had a plastic taste and was soggy and after two bites ended up in the bin. The Pacino burger was spicy but not advertised as such. Again, it was soggy. The mozzarella sticks were tasteless. The spicy cheese bites were the nicest of it all. Nothing special here, and certainly not £30 worth of food.

We ordered one vegetable samosa, 2 blazing burgers, chicken strips and chips. When this arrived we received all except we did not have a samosa but instead chilli cheese bites which we had not ordered. After phoning the shop they explained that they did not sell samosas anymore and instead added chilli cheese bites even though we were not made aware of this before hand and both do not like the cheese bites. I found the burger to be extremely spicy but this is not mentioned in the description of the burger on the deliveroo app. I thought the effort was poor for the food.

Had spicy doner wrap and that was lovely and full of flavour. Chips were good and so was the spicy chicken wings. The gravy was really not good, it tasted burnt and horrible. Had 1 chip in it and could not have any more. The popcorn chicken wasn’t nice either, really dry, lacked flavour and seemed over cooked and stale. Also the sauce pots are really small would be nice to be abit bigger and get more sauce.

I ordered a box meal which consisted of a chicken burger, 2 chicken wings, chips and a side. The only option for a side was coleslaw! The chicken wings were oily. The chicken burger was not too bad but lacked flavour. For the price there is better options

Ordered bay of bengal, chicken parmesan and some chicken wings. Food came nice and hot. Food was so good. Nice and spicy and so much flavour. Highly recommend.

Great food, burgers are honestly amazing, flavour and texture are incredible and really enjoyable we also had chicken wings which again where so nice, if you want to order a takeaway and haven’t tried the chickfather you won’t be disappointed. Previously had Pepe’s chicken and the chickfather is one to none compared.

Came to chickfather yesterday and bought a cheese burger and I was blown away with the burger how amazing it was but unfortunately for myself I wouldn’t be able to have this everyday due to being on a healthy lifestyle diet. Anyone visiting rugby please do come and try theses guys out specially their cheese burger. You be coming back for more. 💯🔥

Was expecting good things however the food was not worth the price... the donner meat tastes cheap and have tried this twice and was bad both times... we ordered a triple chicken burger however it wasn't a fillet but strips in there, you can't be charging £10 for a strip burger meal

Recently moved from South Africa to London and from London to Rugby. Moral of the story I have had some amazing food in my lifetime The Chickfather Rugby is a true Gem I have eaten almost everything on their menu and I am a frequent customer there must be a reason to why I keep going back. All the food is top quality and the taste is on point

Food is delicious and so flavourable. They are also very friendly, love talking about how they prepare their souces and other stuff. Lovely to see another tasty halal point in town.

Was hungry and in the mood for some wings so I decided to give Chickfather a try and was not disappointed. The owner who was at the till, was extremely polite and helpful and began preparing my food straight after taking the order. I only had to sit for a few minutes while I waited which was fine as the shop is clean, comfortable and has a nice atmosphere. The chips I received were fresh out of the fryer and the wings we also very fresh and well seasoned, as well as the portion sizes being generous for amount I spent. I am very pleased with the service and food quality and will be coming back regularly. My ownly suggestion is that the opening hours could start a bit earlier/closer to lunch time. Highly recommended.

Better than KFC IMHO. The wings were very tasty. Very clean and hygienic. The people works there were very polite and friendly. A huge improvement compare to the last management. I will be back again

Honestly the best place to get unique style of burgers and fried chicken in Rugby Taste is Better than kfc The smash burger was full of flavour I would recommend as a treat for after work and would recommend to friends The staff and shop owner was very welcoming and helpful on deciding what was popular to eat Keep up the good work Will be back soon

When I had the food I cried real tears. A good halal takeaway in Rugby for fried chicken finally, now I don't need to go back and forth from Leicester. Look forward to trying the naga/shatkora Donner too. Hope the quality is maintained!

So today was my first time buying food from the shop and to my surprise the food was well cooked and it had a different hit to the chicken unlike some chicken shops I have been to also the staff are really polite and I recommend everyone trying The Chickfather.

During my time in the UK recently, I have discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant in the town of Rugby. The name is what particularly intrigued me 😂 As soon as I walked in, I was very warmly welcomed in by the owner himself. I could tell the young man had some new biz jitters but that made me all the more eager to try and write an honest review. The food, let me just start off by saying, was thee best I have had in a while. I had the “Sea Supreme Burger” with some veggie samosas. I have tasted my fair share of the halal-desi cuisine and this definitely meets my top 5. Other than that, service was amazing and place is very clean. I will be returning here very soon on my next trip.

Best halal takeout in Rugby 100%. Great food and friendly staff aswell top stuff guys

Food is fire , halal food is always gonna be the best food you eat I promise. 10/10
