What a great place for takeaway sandwiches,pastries, and cakes. Everything we bought we thoughly enjoyed and was great value. Would recommend to anyone visiting Tideswell

Food was fresh, tasty, healthy and good value. Made to order with a friendly service. Couldn’t fault the takeaway sandwiches.

During our stay we visited everyday to sample their fantastic selection of cakes and sausage rolls which were truly amazing. We took a box of cakes as a lovely gift for our daughter. The owners were so lovely and attentive, even our dog Ember got a treat each time we visited! We will certainly be back when we visit again!

We were staying at The Vault and the owner had left a welcome box of cakes for us which came from the Cherry Tree. Wow were they good - the lemon drizzle is to die for. After then we visited the shop each day and bought cakes (recommend the lemon drizzle, the erik, raspberry and blueberry shortcake and the salted caramel crumble) and filled rolls for our lunches - they were also first class. On our penultimate day we bought two frozen meals to take home with us to save cooking, a cottage pie and a lasagna with a view to having one each. When we got home and looked at them we realised that they would do for two nights they were so big. They were also really delicious and we regretted not buying them earlier during our stay to save cooking on a couple of nights. Can't recommend this place enough.

Take away in centre of Tideswell. Friendly service, delivered speedily. Everything very fresh and met expectations. Plenty of choice and good value for money. Worth stopping for. Benches in the area tto eat your lunch. Great for walkers and cyclists.

We used The Cherry Tree every week, during lockdown and thoroughly enjoyed our little picnic in the car! The coffee was excellent and so were the sandwiches, not forgetting the home made cakes - delicious!

Really enjoyed the food we bought here on the 13th of November. A nice cappuccino, fantastic crumble cake which was first class and a tasty sausage roll. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Particularly liked the Ham Salad, I had it without pasta as I need to eat gluten free. Generous filling in the rolls. Good selection of yummy cakes. Friendly staff

We now have stopped at this little shop for a Sandwich cakes and Drinks while out biking several times. The service is excellent and the sandwiches and cakes superb. The choice of bread and fillings is great nothing seems to be too much trouble. This little gem is great value for money

The cherry tree never disappoints when we stop by for a lunchtime sandwich. A choice of bread and fillings with friendly service while they make your sandwich of choice. Never stingy on fillings and with a good selection of homemade cakes this is a great place to stop by to grab your lunch.

Out for a lovely bike ride yesterday and was just ready for a stop when I spotted The Cherry Tree in Tideswell. Super coffee and cake; I had their coconut, cherry and chocolate cake. Highly recommend.

Everything here is lovely and fresh and well displayed. Salad boxes, filled rolls, hot rolls, pastries and cakes all available.

Home cooked food, frozen and just perfect for those of us staying in holiday cottages. Just like at home, the lasagne is delicious and the pork in cider too. Tasty tarts and cakes to accompany. Spotless inside and staff are lovely.

What a little gem. The service is polite, friendly and fast, even when it was very busy when we visited. People were queuing out of the door which is usually an indication of a good shop.

Best ham and salad sandwich I have ever had but possibly particularly good as had just cycled 50 miles and was in desperate need of good food. had a coffee sitting outside. Even had a piece of their very indulgent chocolate slice called "Eric" will try the "Cedric" next time

The best sandwich shop in a 20 mile radius. Home-cooked sausage rolls, cakes, ham, chicken & beef, as well as homemade microwave frozen meals, salad boxes, etc. All produced in a tiny shop to perfection. Well done to the new owners who took over from Dave & Barbara.

agree with most of the reviews posted hers BUT I have to query if this place has a price for locals and a price for 'rich tourists'. Agreed that the marked price of goods is difficult to alter but add ons can.I asked for a sausage, they are small, for my dog.The Price £2.00, thats right Two English Pounds.When I queried it the reply was "Well thats what its worth to me"As local and using most of the local cafes for my takeaway snacks the most I have ever been charged for a single sausage for the dog has been 50 pence. Checked yesterday with most of them and confirmed 50 pence is a fair price.Check your prices if you use this place.

I popped into the Cherry Tree in the hope of getting a takeaway salad to eat with a BBQ at our holiday cottage. And I am so glad I did! The salad was excellent, fresh and varied, and the service was friendly and efficient. Next time we holiday nearby, I want to go back and try one of their sandwiches, or the custom made oven-ready meals.

I have been partial to the odd sausage roll through out my life, usually not very exoctic in their appearance, make up or taste! BuT by Christ i thought i would push my wild side out and sample a Pork,chilli and apple sauce varient!!BEST SAUSAGE ROLL EVER!!

Staff in here are friendly the rolls are freshly made and they are not tight on the fillings we used this place all week for our pack lunches and will use again on our return in May

Popped in here to pick a snack for a picnic. Chose the pork, stuffing and apple sausage roll and the pork and black pudding sausage roll. My goodness, they were amazing. Not at all greasy and incredibly tasty.We also picked up some tray bakes to have as pudding and they were delicious too.

lovely food ...no places to eat on a cold day ..no inside seatingbut nice salads..dogs not allowed insid so i had to stand outside in the rain & call through the doorway

Been staying in the area and went in to buy a butty for my walk. Not much to say expect it was nice,fresh and tasty. Perfect just what I wanted.

I visit here regularly as I work in the area every week. The food is all homemade and tastes amazing. They often have new pastries to try depending on the season. Just today I tried 2 new (to me at least) ones. One was a sausage roll/wrap with black pudding and a sweet onion relish, I hope they have this again as it was a taste sensation. The other was a feta cheese tartlet with olives and sundried tomatoes, also amazingly tasty. Well worth a visit if you are in the area to see what's available that day. Out of all the villages I visit on my weekly trip this is the only place I choose to eat

Well the title says it all!We regularly get sandwiches, cakes and pastries for our many walks in the Peak District. They are all baked on the premises and of high quality.Your £ goes a long way. Keep up the good work.

We stopped here on for a lunch time snack and ordered sandwiches which were made to order individually. I had Egg mayonnaise in a brown roll, along with a locally made sausage roll, and we sat outside at one of the few tables in the sunshine. I really enjoyed it, and would like to call in again next time I am in the area.
