As a huge pasta & camden lover I had seen people post photos from The Cheese Wheel on Instagram and needed to try! The pasta bowl I had was delicious! The customer service was great and loved the music blasting out too!!

Even better than it looks!! I sampled a bit and it was delicious, then I purchased and paid extra for 2 toppings (mushrooms and ragu) as I couldn’t decide, the outcome was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend eating here!

ive been going to the place every time im in london since the first time when i was 12. don’t know what happened to it… this time the pasta was so dry and was served cold. really disappointed

Very good portion. First they give you a taste and you decide if you like it or not. The pasta is made by themselves, then they pass it through the cheese wheel and finally they season it with whatever you have ordered. Recommended!

Got offered a free sample and our dinner plans went out the window. They hand-make the pasta infront of you, and with a delicious variety or toppings on the menu it would be silly not to eat here. Will defo be coming back here - haven't even finished eating and im writing thisbout👌

Take out hut at Camden on a cold winter’s day. The cheesy pasta was amazing and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

My son saw this place on Tik Tok so we made our way up from Kings Cross after arriving in London, Pasta was freshly prepared for us, my ragu was delicious, my boy enjoyed his pancetta version, Good value for the size of the portion, would happily visit again.

More of a 4.5 - tried their pasta at the Leicester Square Christmas Market and it was among the better ones that I've tried in London.

Crazy. A 10 business with a 10 product. One of my favorites on the market and easy to eat. The price is adjusted and accessible for the area. Super friendly service. Freshly made pasta served with a cheese, I think it was Parmesan, with your choice of topping. There is no error.

Food was great but if you handed me alfredo pasta and this, I would not be able to distinguish the two. I would still buy it again just because all food is expensive anyway but it’s not a life changing experience like those Instagram reels led us to believe.

Really disappointing. I know it is a tourist trap but all you could taste is thick pasta. Zero sauce flavour and you can't taste any cheese at all. Didn't even have any seasoning. Maybe i caught them on a bad day.

I enjoyed trying this but unfortunately for its price and the way they just boiled the pasta and tossed it into the cheese wheel without fully mixing it well. My pasta barely had been coated well with the cheese. Offered to give chilli on the side. £12 for a small portion of pasta that’s supposed to be covered in the cheese wheel is honestly a little scam. Overall I did enjoy the slow cooked beef one but I honestly wish they cooked the pasta just a few minute longer it tasted to raw and hard. Probably due to a sudden rise of customers. Staff were alright just didn’t look like they bothered to even put a smile on.

If you want to eat cheese wheel style pasta or in Italian "a la routa" this is the place! You can see they make their own pasta, it's cheap and really tasty. 100% recomended. I hope one day they can open their own restaurant, since the only bad thing is because it's a food truck and it's a litle difficult to find (around the food market in Camden) a place to sit and enjoy properly your bowl.

This is a yummy option at Camden Market for anyone who loves pasta! There's a nice variety of topping options that you can pick from (or just get your pasta plain) after it's sautéed in sauce and then finally tossed in the cheese wheel. I got the crispy pancetta and really liked it. There are additional toppings on the side you can add yourself, like grated cheese, chili oil, and minced garlic. These definitely add more flavor and I think it's worth adding one or more of them. I added cheese and garlic to mine. The pasta was very tasty and nicely sauced although it wasn't especially cheesy, at least to me. I think it just gets a mild cheese flavor from the cheese wheel but it's not going to be as cheesy as a mac and cheese, for example. It has a nice balance of flavor that lends itself to any of the topping options.

Die Portionen sind größer als man denkt. Satt wird man auf jeden Fall. Habe es mir käsiger vorgestellt. Es gibt leckere Toppings. Service ging schnell Ob der Preis (10€) gerechtfertigt ist… Ich weiß nicht.

Auch wenn der Camden Market massenhaft zu bieten hat, mussten wir hier einfach stehenbleiben und uns eine Portion Fettucine mit Champignons genehmigen. Die selbstgemachten Nudeln waren auf den Punkt gegart und hatten Dank des Durchschwenkens durch den Käselaib einen sehr würzigen und käsigen Geschmack. Wer mag, kann selbst noch frischen Knoblauch, Parmesan und Chilli auf die Nudeln toppen. Wie andere Läden dort auch, ist es etwas hochpreisiger, weswegen ich aber keinen Stern anziehe, da es dort zu erwarten ist. Empfehlung geht auf jeden Fall raus.

This is a great place for fresh pasta. Cooked and cheeses up in a giant cheese wheel. The options are varied and it tastes amazing. Pasta is created fresh to order and then placed in the giant cheesy wheel. Slightly tucked out of the way but worth your time to come and find them.

Overall a very nice experience, went on Saturday at lunch time and the queues were very reasonable. Good portion sizes and prices. Definitely a must try for any pasta/cheese lovers.

The pasta shop is very busy. They make a few orders at once. Some of the pasta just slightly touched the cheese. So you can’t really taste the cheese in the pasta. A bit let down. If they could cook the pasta one by one, that will be so much nicer.

Eine der besten Nudeln und die besten käse Nudeln die ich je gegessen habe. Die Pilze waren auch gut. Fast ein muss, wenn man auf dem Camden Market ist.

We visited the cheese wheel after a long day out in London. We had been waiting for this all day and it didnt disappoint.the pasta was cooked fresh while you wait then creamy sauce. Pancetta and more cheese, for street food it was definitely 5 star and all served with a smile.

An incredible concept backed up with incredible food. It can be daunting to have some much choice when walking into Camden Market but I was assured I’d made the right choice once I tucked into my food. The staff are busy with so many orders but seem like they are having fun and definitely pass that feeling onto the guests. The menu is precise, the wait time was minimal and the taste is out of this world. I recommend the truffle pasta although I’m sure all of them go down very well. We will be back!

I literally watched the guy use dried pasta from a Sainsbury’s packet. That’s not fresh, that’s false advertising. Crooks

Brilliant bowl of fettuccine Alfredo from Camden Lock food hut. £8.95 for a bowl but just the one filled us both up at lunch time! Delicious!

Definitely not the best pasta you can get, but good for a vendor in a market.

There was no cheese in the pasta?

Ordered the fettuccine with slow cooked beef, it was very creamy and flavourful. The stall also offered free cheese powder, chilli, oil, and garlic.

There are places that are hyped and there are places that are great but not hyped up. The cheese wheel is a bit of both ;) it is popular and it is bloody good :D it's a joy to watch your pasta take a dip in the cheese "well" and emerge with truffle shavings added on top. Fantastic stuff for a good price. It is quite addictive so please exercise caution ;) I'd visit Camden market just for this place again and again until I'm done trying all combination. There are enough options for vegetarians.

Honestly I was a little bit let down by the food. The pasta was fresh and tasted good however the food just lacked a little bit of flavour. Also I don't think the price justified the portion size/ flavour. All in all I don't think I would come back.

So this was the first time ever we tried any cheese wheel, and I always wanted to try it since I love Parmasen. Unfortunately, it didn't go down well. Three stars as the pasta was fresh but then a lot of cream was added to it before adding pasta on the cheese wheel (for few seconds only). These was no cheese taste in the pasta. Only a little bit of cream taste. The service was fine.

The pasta is really good and the service was super quick. The cheese wheel it's massive and just looks yummy. It's in a very busy area in Camden market so there is a lot of people around and there isn't much space to it.

Recent trip to the market and my son wanted to try this food stall. He chose the fettuccine with pancetta, ordered straight away as no queue. Given a number then watched the pasta being cut then cooked and placed in the cheese wheel. We paid £9.50 for this portion and you have options for parmigiana fresh garlic and garlic and chilli oil. Tasted and was extremely delicious, piping hot and very cheesy. Would definitely return and try a portion my self.

The female worker did not want to give me my change when asked and when my daughter asked her for a fork the female worker did not respond. Very bad customer service

Dit eettentje zelf niet bezocht maar wel dat ernaast. Is een heel druk pleintje met allemaal eettentjes waar je niet echt plek hebt om te eten. Niet heel gezellig om te eten.

Les pâtes étaient délicieuses ! J’ai testé avec du pesto et quel délice… On peut reprocher le manque de place assise mais en même temps, lorsque vous allez à Camden, il ne faut pas s’attendre à en avoir puisque le but même est de proposer différentes variétés de plats de tous les horizons en mode « street food ». Alors pour moi, c’est un 5/5 ;)

Consistently delicious! My favourite stall in Camden! I always get the pancetta on my fettuccine and it’s just as yummy each time. The staff are always so cheerful and friendly. There’s also parmesan and chilli to help yourself to. Definitely recommend if you like garlicky, cheesy pasta!

We grabbed lunch here on a busy Sunday afternoon, despite the crowds in the market we only had to wait a few minutes for our food and it was delicious! Will definitely be stopping by next time we're in the area.

Wow! Truly amazing To have the luxury of eating pasta out of a real wheel of Parmesan cheese for such a reasonable price is amazing. Please bare in mind that the photo is only half a portion (or less) as I had the last order before they closed (they charged me under half price!) Such a great business idea. Without having to go to a restaurant and pay an exorbitant price for cheese wheel pasta. You can also add as much garlic and chilli as you’d like, and I love mine with a lot of garlic. Amazing service as-well. Such a gem in Camden but also the entirely of London.

Nice shop in the Camden Market. They sell pasta Alfredo with a variety of add-ons, like ragu, mush rums, etc. A nice thing is that it is fresh pasta, made at the moment in front of you. Really nice!

Una pasta deliciosa, mejor que en muchos restaurantes, la porción prometo que te dejará satisfecho, pasta al dente sin estar sobre cocida que preparan sobre una enorme rueda de queso para que con el calor se funda y despues sirven en tu plato inmediatamente y caliente, ufff delicia!, pedí mi pasta al pesto con jitomate, los jitomates tienen un no se que que al morderlos sueltan un jugo delicioso que se revuelve con el sabor de tu pasta y queso... sinceramente me sentí como el crítico de Ratattuile XD, valió la pena el viaje de 2hr para llegar hasta aquí, si visitan Camden creo que sin duda deberían visitar este lugar!. Aparte de la tienes libre acceso para agregar a tu pasta crema con ajo, chilito en aceite y parmesano.

The only downside is that it's so popular! Great food means big crowds. Nowhere to sit and eat so be prepared to stand.

One of the best pasta I ever had. Me and my wife got the one with sautéed beef was amazing. Sadly we did any take any picture it was too good and worm 😂. Definitely will go again when I go back to London one day.

Sehr netter Verkäufer! Das Essen war okay, an sich lecker nur wurde die Pasta sehr kurz in dem Parmesan Würfel gewendet, dadurch war die Pasta nicht sehr geschmackvoll. Sehr positiv ist das die Pasta frisch & selbst zubereitet wird!

The experience was not what I had expected. The pasta was dry and I could not taste the Parmesan cheese. The chilly oil did help to elevate the taste a little bit. Take note the queues and get long but it’s prett quick to get your food. Might try again next time only if I’m there.

Was expecting better to be honest… the flavour wasn’t there, I couldn’t taste much parmigiano and it was a dry. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered the Alfredo, but I thought it would have more sauce?
