Pleasant outside terrace, lovely staff, really delicious food. Great place for a summer afternoon but can get hot if not under shade.

Despite getting a booking reminder 48 hours in advance of our meal there, all eight of us arrived to find it had shut two months earlier. Nobody had told us. If you like looking at newspaper covered windows rather than eating, you will love Bacco. If you like having to arrange alternative eating arrangements with nil notice, you will feel at home with Bacco. If you want a nice meal, tough - you're too late

When we arrived at the restaurant, we could see a note taped on the door, that the restaurant was permanently closed.

The service and attenion to detail was extraordinary. I have two young guests not feeling well that day and the waiter has gone out of his way to come up solution for the meal which was not on the menu. The kids were very happy with the meal.and ate them all. They were feeling pampered with the excellent service.

A good friend of ours took us here for Christmas dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a hidden gem. The food was incredible... the best Italian food I’d enjoyed in years and it has a fairly authentic Italian atmosphere. The service was very professional as well.

We had a table of ten following a business awards ceremony in London, the restaurant is convenient as it's next to the Premier Inn where we were staying, we also dined at the restaurant 2 years ago when we previously attended the awards. The staff are excellent, good service and the food is lovely. In the summer i expect the rear courtyard area is very pretty and a little diamond hideaway from the busy London streets.

Not much choice of food. Meals were okay but nothing special and the portion sizes were moderate. The service wasn’t too bad but the restaurant wasn’t too busy.

This place is a hidden gem. One of the best Italian restaurants i ve been in London. If authenticity it's what you want then this is the place to visit. A true Italian experience of food and hospitality. Amazing selection of wines from every corner of Italy and extremely professional staff. Cozy and friendly atmosphere throughout the night We were a group of 5 and had 3 courses each from A La Carte, I went for bresaola followed by spaghetti crab, which was superb and full of flavour. For dessert i had a chocolate mousse, couldn't resist it as i love Italian sweets..great presentation and the portion was just right. As a wine we have been recommended a bottle of Tignanello from Tuscany which was a bit pricy but well worth it. An elegant style with floral and fig notes, very sophisticated with a nice generous tannin structure. If you are a wine lover you will definitely enjoy that. Really recommend this place , looking forward to visit again!!

We have eaten in this restaurant several times and always found the food and service very good. It's a good place to go if you don't like noisy restaurants, you can hear each other as the tables are well spaced apart. We have only been on a Saturday, when there is an offer through open table which makes it good value.

I booked the restuarant on the 50% off offer and it was such good value. The food was delicious and service excellent. It was quiet but it suited us fine for a quiet catch up. Also it was a Wednesday evening so may be busier on other nights. Overall lovely restaurant.

Just because it was V day, the price for things were overpriced. And when I asked for a regular menu, they said they are only doing Valentine's menu. How ridiculous! For the price we paid, I could fly to Italy, have a decent meal and be back the same day! As an avid Italian food lover, I was heart broken. I am sorry but I shall not be returning.

I really recommend this restaurant the food is very good. It is the second time that I'm eating in this restaurant and both time I really enjoyed great food and service. The risotto with saffron was amazing and the Tiramisu wow I just don't have words for it... it was really that good and trust me as a good Italian I know how to make a good tiramisu. :)

Booked a table on Saturday for a simple dinner for 2 before a birthday party. On arrival to the almost empty restaurant, I was promptly given a table by a fire exit, (which I asked to change to a table away from the door and in a more pleasant part of the restaurant). The chair at the first table had also seen better days and sank down as soon as I tried to sit in it, which was another reason I asked to move. On being seated at my new table I was given 1 menu, even though I had booked a table for two. The waiter seemed disinterested frankly. When my partner arrived she was left to sit at the table for quite a while without a menu until we requested one. We ordered our meals and drinks, then had to ask again for bread, instead of it being brought to us. The first course of fried calamari was tasteless and bland, with more breading than squid and at £15 a portion it was not good value at all. When asked if I enjoyed my starter, I told the waiter that I didn’t like it as it was very dry. My £16 spaghetti crab was smothered in tomato sauce and it could have been any kind of protein in there, tuna, sardine, it’s impossible to tell. My partners seafood orecchiette was adequate, but was still £18 Desert was a dark pannocotta which was ok. £8, we asked to share one and two were brought to us, so 1 was sent back. The bill came to £115 (including an obligatory 12.5% service charge), and with a top table discount on the starters and mains knocking £30 off that total to make it £85, I really don’t feel this place is either good value for money or worth visiting again. The food was bland and indifferent, much like the waiting staff and the decor. I feel this is a tired West End restaurant, knocking out overpriced and sub standard food to people on business or shopping. If you are going to spend £100 you should expect a great meal and considerate service. This was very far from that.

I organised our staff Christmas party at Bacco and it was fantastic. The team especially Jason made the planning straight forward and adapted the menu to our needs. The food was excellent. Portions were generous and tasty. The staff made everyone feel special. Extremely accommodating and all with a smile. Bacco is a hidden gem in the city. We will definitely be holding more parties here.

I was there yesterday with colleagues for the annual Xmas party. We all enjoyed the food. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere very warm and cosy. Highly recommended.

I've been here twice for lunch - as it happens with a vegetarian - and it was exceptional both times. I really really want to come back in the evening and splash out as the menu and the wine list both look fab, and they can really cook here. It is very good value with the special offer. And the service is lovely.

The food - especially the sea trout starter - was excellent and Gioia and her colleagues were perfectly attentive and very welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

Had the 3 course meal with unlimited wine/prosecco for £35. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly good value. Considering that it was unlimited, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that both the wine and Prosecco were very nice. The only thing I would have liked to see would have been more options for the desserts in the set menu. The service was speedy, and our waitress was lovely. We had a very nice time - would definitely recommend!

We had the £35 set three course menu with unlimited wine and despite the food being somewhat unexciting, it was very good value. The starters were excellent but the main courses slightly less so. The restaurant has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the service was wonderful. I'd certainly return but perhaps go a la carte.

ate there on spur of moment after seeing how welcoming it looked from the outside, We were lucky to get a table on spec but I would recommend booking this restaurant. The menu was not very extensive, which can only be a good thing with a restaurant of this caliber, Everything was cooked to order and extremely tasty, Excellent wine list of Italian wines from every corner of Italy. We chose a Sicilian white which was extremely palatable, Service was excellent. A little bit expensive, especially when the service charge was added, which sometimes you forget about, but you do get what you pay for but if you wanted something cheaper, just visit one of the Italian chained restaurants.

Delicious food in a lovely restaurant. We were a table of 10 and all enjoyed our chosen. It is well worth making an effort to get to this restaurant, which is in fact only 5 minute walk from the tube. They even put a candle in my desert and sang happy birthday, which was lovely. We will definitely be back.

Staff bent over backwards to accommodate all our wishes (unexpectedly someone else was coming and they changed our table even though it was packed in there). The food was OK or good, not super, but all in all it was a fantastic experience. Thank you!

The gentleman who greeted us initially and served us most of the time seemed very hostile, other than that the food was great, the design and setting of the restaurant was very nice, i was absolutely in love with the romantic ambiance of the washroom. Would definitely recommend.

This is my 5th time at Bacco and we chose the unlimited wine + 3 courses offer. The set menu that came with this was a wee bit limited but the dishes were indeed up to Bacco's usual standard so it didn't matter in the end. I had pappardelle with rabbit ragout and my friend the chicken leg dish; both of us happy with our choices. We both had the squid to start and again very happy. After the first couple of glasses of wine one does need to prompt a little for a refill but they do so with good grace. Service really good and ambience too, though it wasn't very busy the night we went. This is a firm favourite in the area now for me.

What a fabulous find! From the minute I walked in this lovely little restaurant felt welcoming and warm. The staff were delightful and accommodating, the menu had so many delicious choices it was hard to choose (although they do make you choose from either the fixed price menu or the a la carte, you can't pick and mix!). The wine list was great if a little on the expensive side, but the food was typically Italian and very flavoursome. Lovely comfortable decor, and a not very alarming bill. Will definitely revisit.

Enjoyed a perfect evening in the lovely and relaxed atmosphere that is Bacco. The special prices offered during restaurant festival month in London made it even more delightful. I was in awe of the smoked eel risotto. Perfectly cooked and with a delicate flavor profile. The scallop starter was a fantastic mix of spicey fresh ginger and shredded chilis accompanied by three sauces that made the dish really pop. It's worth a trip just to order these two dishes. If I were in London longer I would be a repeat customer. My compliments to the chef.

Celebrated my mother's birthday and were given a warm welcome by lovely staff. Everyone enjoyed the food very much and the ravioli was particularly good. There was a buzz about the place without it being too loud. A great place to relax.

UNA NOTTE BELLISSIMA - We were looking for a nice, cosy spot for a girly get together after not seeing each other for a number of years. Having all lived in London before and been lucky to enjoy many nice restaurants around town over the years, we wanted to try somewhere new and Bacco did not disappoint. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with smiles - the ambient lighting, beautiful decor and authentic Italian staff and Front of House made us realise in an instant that we had made the right choice. We went for a set menu with wine and prosecco and were treated like VIP's the whole night. Nothing was too much trouble and we were not rushed, but enjoyed a lovely long evening of freshly cooked Italian cuisine, flowing wine, great atmosphere and attentive and personal service. We had a giggle with the wait staff - the place felt like a fine dining establishment, but it was so relaxed and friendly, you were instantly at ease, a kind of 'home away from home' feeling. We all agreed that this was now to become our official "Renunion Restaurant", each time we have the chance to get together. Grazie a mille for a wonderful night - we will be back! :)

A group of eight of us meet several times a year and have always switched location each time, down the years. We enjoyed Bacco so much the previous time that we went back. Now nobody wants to go anywhere else in future.

I have been to this restaurant before, and I chose it this night as it is not a noisy place and it meant that I could chat easily to my friends. This time we were seated downstairs which was even quieter. We all particularly enjoyed the starters . The house red and white wines were very acceptable. The price was good as we had the 25% off food offer. A good evening.

Entering Bacco is like entering Italy. The waiters are very welcoming and helpful. Took my mother on her birthday and we enjoyed the night in a lovely warm ambience. The food was wonderful, top quality, the portion was enough as the food was so filling. I would definitely go again!

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is excellent and the menu imaginative. However, what makes this restaurant so great is the service and the staff make you feel really special. I ordered the fish stew which came with a &#039;raw prawn&#039; (I asked to have this cooked, which the chef was quite happy to do). The food, as always, was really good and with the Opentable offer this was exceptional value. Would definitely recommend.

We had an OK lunch but the service was rather patchy and the food slightly lacking in flavour. All a bit mediocre sadly.

Had a business lunch here on Friday. Food and service were perfect. Nice place to talk and hear what is being said without feeling like you are in church. Few people dining but not packed and seemed good value for money. Will use it again when need to be in the area.

We had an amazing experience at Bacco. We were celebrating my husbands graduation and Bacco was perfect in every way. Food was excellent - service was attentive and professional - wine selection was excellent. We sat in the outdoor space - very quiet and intimate. Highly recommended!

Food was exceptional. The only thing was the window from neighbours right behind us being opened and closed constantly in the yard where we are. Became very annoying. Apart from that exceptional everything.

Bacco restaurant provide very good Italian food, we&#039;d to go again next time .

We booked a table for our anniversary dinner, surprised at how quiet it was, but apparently lunchtime is their busiest time. Excellent service from very knowledgeable and friendly staff who described the chef as "creative" which it certainly was - and I mean that as a compliment. I had soup to start, which was not your usual bowl of liquid, until rather a delicious concoction based on beans, with green vegetables with cherry tomatoes - sounds weird, but was really good. Hubby had crispy squid which was equally good. Mains was saffron risotto - again unusual, bright yellow, with shavings of liquorice to add a sweet taste; very rich, and very tasty. Our other mains dish was rabbit, which I'm told was delicious. We shared a homemade tiramisu for pudding, which was good.I'd definitely recommend this place, but be prepared to try something a bit different, and follow the waiters recommendations.

Italian based food, but with some nice innovative touches (eg Swordfish steak in coconut with mango - a lovely mix of delicate flavours). The courtyard garden is quiet and intimate. Service was superb. Friendly and attentive - we arrived at 12.30 and finally staggered out a 6!

My friend and I had a catch up lunch at Bacco yesterday and we were more than impressed with the food and setting of the place. Initially we sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air, but when it started raining the staff was very helpful and kind to find us a nice table inside where we still had a very good view. I've never eaten ravioli so good since my last visit to Rome a year ago. I'll be back soon for sure.

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Bacco on Tuesday. When I made the reservation I mentioned the occasion, the staff took extra care to organise a really romantic setting for us with candles and dim lights. The food was fantastic! I had the trout fillet with salsa verde and he had the lamb rack. It was all cooked to perfection and presented in a very attractive way. We shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio and I couldn't help my sweet tooth so I had passion fruit creme brûlée. I recommend with two hands.

Second time visiting, did not let me down - really good food and good service. Highly recommend the courgette flower as a starter and ballotine as main - although the squid ink risotto looked divine. If you have space, the panacotta and cheesecake are also phenomenal. Very nice touch to bring free limoncello out afterwards! Friendly staff, very reasonable prices - especially considering the location, let alone the quality of food! <br /><br />Would definitely return again!

Visit Bocco whenever we come to London. This time we ate out on the back patio, it was very pleasant. Food was excellent and service very good. Totally enjoyed our meal. DH had cold meat platter as appy and I had the scallops. For main course he had tagletelli bolognese and I had smoked eggplant ravioli All was delicious

We went there because I love italian cuisine, we've been there before and we thought not to take the chance somewhere else, we knew we liked it in the past, so we wanted to make sure we'll enjoy our dinner. Wrong. Nothing was the same, nothing was as tasty as it used to be. The menu is not very big, not too many choices. I asked for grilled fish, without any oil on top, the waiter was nice, went down to the kitchen to ask the chef if he can make it for me, he aproved, so now I was just looking forward to eat. I chose some mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes together with the fish. DISAPPOINTED! Totally, entirely! The fish came without anything in my plate than a piece if lemon and my "mixed" vegetables were: potatoes, spinach and some beans; as you can see jn my attached picture. I am sorry I didn't take a picture of my filet of fish. I haven't seen anything as bland as my food in this place! The waiter didn't tell me what would be jn my vegetable plate, because if I knew there would be potatoes, I would not order mashed potatoes as well!!!!! No passion for their job at all! No dedication! Thank God the wine was good! Never back again! Not even if they pay my transport and my dinner!

I went here because it is one the most famous Italian restaurants of London. Reviews are right. Very raffinate and delicious cuisine. I had Parma Ham with mozzeralla cheese as starter and spaghetti with Crab, tomatoes and rocket as main. The pasta is really like in Italy. I felt home. As dessert I had a very refreshing Lemon semifreddo. Service was perfect, the young waiters are very professional and fast. Will come again.
