Spaghetti House in Camden

We have been before. Its not close to home but worth the journey. Eight of us thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. My son thought his cazone was the best he'd ever had. My risotto was superb and all the pizza guys were enthralled. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Forgot our drinks but still tried to charge us for them. Pizzas had hardly any toppings, kids' food came out after I'd my main and was the wrong dish. Complete incompetence both front and back of house.

The food was really good and came in big portions. The prices are very reasonable as well and cheaper than other places in the neighborhood. Service was attentive and quick. The only « bad » thing is the location. We came on a Friday night and the noises from the street (cars, ambulances etc) did impact the atmosphere of the place.

The pasta and pizza are both excellent. Best Italian food in the area.

The service was great, lovely waitress. I've been coming here for longer than I care to remember, but this is the first time I have felt disappointed. Pasta, pizza, and the normal Italian fare look great, but I ordered pollo con crema y fungi. Well, if that was a whole chicken breast, I'm a size 6!! Not only that, but the potatoes tasted terrible, as if they'd been cooked in old oil. In fact the place smelt of old cooking oil and so do my clothes now, It'll be a while before I venture there again, disappointed and still hungry.

Good value lunch stop here, generous portions of tasty Italian pasta washed down with an Italian beer. Lots of garlic in the garlic bread which we loved!!

We’ve just arrived in England from South Africa and this was our first trip to London. We walked all day and were knackered at the end. What we found here was amazing! We used to own Italian restaurants for many years and I hate to say it, but that Gorgonzola sauce was better than mine! The Quattro, the carbonara and tag al salmone were excellent! Service was very attentive but not intrusive. Ambience was lovely. Well done folks and thank you!

Great experience at this relaxed trattoria. Probably the best gnocchi gorgonzola I have ever had. Felt really welcome and loved the warm atmosphere

I had a very nice pizza quattro stagione and some red wine here, just before going to a gig at a nearby venue. The service was excellent and friendly, too.

Slower service when busy, but very good food. Worth the wait!

A really nice restaurant to go to which I thoroughly enjoy. They serve the most delicious food and it can get quite busy.

For me, there was an unpleasant smell when we walked in. No-one else in my party noticed it, so might have just been me! The service was ok, but pretty slow. My food was really lovely, but 2 of the people I was with said their meal was dry.

Had a 20 min delay on getting a coffee and a soft drink but otherwise food was great, decent portion sizes. Staff friendly but seemed under staffed for a friday so trying to do a lot solo.

Quite a small restaurant but the food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. The prices are also reasonable. We celebrated my Mum's birthday here and the staff were very accommodating. All eight of us left feeling very satisfied :) I'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu. Thanks Spaghetti House.

Great place, delicious food and friendly staff!

Nice friendly service, excellent value and good solid tasty Italian fayre. Sat in the window, we watched the world go by and ate classic spaghetti Bolognese and a garlic bread with cheese = leaving very full and happy. Not a productive working lunch, but hey, sometimes you just have to go with it..😎

I enjoyed an amazing Fiorentina pizza here. There were many other tasty dishes on the menu but I'd not had pizza for ages, It was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious; the dough was perfect, there was plenty of topping and the cheese was flavoursome and stretchy! For pudding, I had some homemade tirimasu and it was glorious, all creamy and soft. The atmosphere of this restaurant is welcoming and warm. It is decorated in such a way that you could believe you were literally in Italy in a taverna having authentic Italian food after a busy day sightseeing. A must-visit if you're in the area.

This meal was a present for my birthday. We both decided to have the same main course which was calfs liver with steamed veg. Very good 👍

So love Italian food and thought this place looks good so went with my bestie and found out I thought very wrong 😑 so it wasn’t the worst food in the world but would say just below average,the service was slow and the food not that good can say the garlic bread and the can of Coke were the best things about this place

Had such a great experience. We ordered the porcini and bufala from the specials which was a great choice! They also gave a very generous portion of seafood. The ambiance was very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. The tiramisu was worth every penny. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

I’ve been walking past this place over the last 20 years and I’m kicking myself why I took so long to step and try a meal. A really nice atmosphere and clientele. I’m yet to sit inside and enjoy the restaurant as I’ve only order takeout. I’m so looking forward to booking a table here with my family. It will be a good night especially as this place is walking distance.

Update: Haven't been here for over 2 years due to covid and moving father away but still excellent! I should really make the effort to come here more often! ===== Genuinely delicious pasta dishes at a good price. Decent wine selection. My favourite pasta place in London. Try the mussels in garlic butter for starters and spaghetti frutti di mare for mains!

The simple name suggests a more casual take on pasta, but actually the food was top quality. Really well made. Traditional Italian style. Pizza exceptional too. The place was very quiet when we went and I couldn’t understand why as the food was top notch as was the service. If you fancy ristorante pasta and/or pizza definitely pop in.

Absolutely lovely! Came here yesterday for my birthday, despite being very local, last came here 15 years ago and had the best spaghetti bolognese ever, although this Chef has been here 10 years it was just as splendid! Walked in at 8 in the evening and hit by warmth, wonderful Italian rich cooking smells, cosy lighting and a friendly warm atmosphere. Couple of very well-behaved (Italian?) children with parents and another couple in the corner, but managed to create a calm and intimate atmosphere. Food, freshly made, was delicious, House red wine perfect, even got a free glass of Limoncello! Chef and waitress really kind, charming and friendly. Took advantage of the deal; Monday-Thursday 2 course pizza or pasta from the menu and bottle of house wine for £29, worth every penny! We highly recommend this brilliant place. Thank you.

Amazing place with amazing food and amazing customer service. This is an authentic, family owned Italian gem with a lovely owner who always (I visited 3 times) greets us with a big smile and lots of jokes and banter up his sleeve. So far I have tried their mussels, 3 different types of pasta, pizza and every single one of them were delicious, filling and tasty to the max. It really is a must-eat place. If you want delicious, authentic and affordable Italian, this is it! Thanks guys. See you soon !

There was hair on pizza!! Discusting and unsafe!!!! I was so hungry. It came so quick but when I opened the box I saw the someone's hair on it.

The hidden gem in London. I have been to the restaurant last weekend with some friends to celebrate my birthday. Since the beginning of the evening, I have been amazed by the service. The waitress accommodated us near the entrance as requested, she took quickly our order and advice us about the different meals they offer. We ended up having mussels for starter, which were absolutely fresh and the spicy sauce made them sublime. My friends then had other types of seafood with Linguine. I also tried the Pizza and we ended up having Tiramisu'. The staff is very smiley and friendly, the chef personally came to us to ask If the food was up to our satisfaction and at the end of the meal, he offered us Limoncello. I would like to underline that we all felt very safe and the place was spotless clean. Overall, I can absolutely recommend Spaghetti House and would go back anytime.

The food was average, a bit bland. Looks better than it tastes. The host was very rude and unpleasant. Got the order wrong and implied it was me who ordered it wrong, despite the fact he didn't write down my order when taking it. Will not come back as very unimpressed with the customer service.

I first found Spaghetti House after playing football across the street in Tufnell Park a few years ago, by accident really. What I found with my Dad was an absolute gem of a restaurant. They have a good variety of options food-wise. I usually go for the Pizza, but the Pasta, Calzone and Meat dishes are all good options too. Prices for these meals usually vary between £8-15, so fantastic value. The beers and wine are reasonably priced too. Despite being part of a chain, I have to say that that is not the vibe you get at all in this restaurant. It is homely, owned (at least in part I believe?) by the staff and a hugely relaxing setting to eat in. The food is great, the prices are very good, but the best part of Spaghetti House is without question the service. You are always greeted with a smile, a handshake, and if you're lucky perhaps even a free shot at the end. The restaurant is just opposite the Tufnell Park Dome, which does quite a few gigs around the year. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend popping into the Spaghetti House for a fantastic meal!

I ordered vegetarian pasta, it was so delicious and the portion was more than enough for a hungry person like me! Service was good and the waiter was also so kind! Generous restaurant! Amazing for the first time experience, recommended for sure!

This is always first choice restraunt for me and my fiance when it's date night and we want a decent meal. Staff are friendly and remember our faces, food arrives very quickly. The portions are very generous, sometimes I have trouble finishing my plate and as a girl with a big appetite that's unusual for me. I never leave this place hungry, and as for value for money it's totally worth coming here. Can't wait to drop in again.

The food is decent, like really good pasta/spagetti and everyone else I have tried is home made. The prices fair. However, please turn down the italian radio, fim the lights. Make it a little more “ambient”. Otherwise, its just a bit too cafe and not enough cosy restaurant. Almost there. Hope you take the next step.

I think this is a little hidden gem. The food is fantastic here. Loved every mouthful. This is a small restaurant in north London. It's right by the junction of tufnell park station and if you blink you will miss it. It dose not stand out from the rest of the shops here and it's a shame as the food is so good. Tried the spaghetti a few times now and the fish comes with a very big helping of vegetables. The pizzas are very tasty too.

Due giorni fa ho mangiato presso questo ristorante, gli spaghetti erano incollati e freddi, la cameriera prontamente li ha riportati in cucina, il secondo doveva essere il polpo ALL'INSALATA, ma era solo insalata verde, del polpo non c'era traccia. Cibo scadente e prezzi molto alti. Da evitare!!

Contrary to what you might assume I don't actually think this is part of the Spaghetti House chain. It's an independent restaurant which just happens to have the same name, and it has apparently been here for decades. It's very much a no frills restaurant, but for basic, no-nonsense Italian classics at bargain prices, and with generous portions, the food is actually pretty good. The focus is mostly on pasta, but the pizza is surprisingly not bad either. I like their penne alla norma (tomato, aubergines, mozzarella and chilli). Good for a cheap and cheerful weekend lunch. It's quite a small restaurant, the seating is basic but functional, the tables are a bit packed together. You wouldn't go here for the atmosphere or the decor, and it's certainly not romantic or glamorous, but the staff are pleasant and it's quite family oriented - there are often kids eating here.
