2nd visit to the Cheese shed. Took a friend who was greatly impressed by it. Is literally an open metal barn so dress warm . We had a very nice toasty. Pleased to see it's child friendly, some games for children to play with outside Attracts a lot of dog walkers . Loads of pooches there. Only 1 negative. The portoloos smelt terrible. Such a nice place should have better toilet facilities.

Just been to Cheese shed this morning Sunday 29th . Went to get milk , bread ect from farm shop . Whilst waiting almost 10 minutes for someone to appear at the counter, Was then a miserable looking woman arrived slamming my products down on the counter not saying one word after taking almost £40 from me. My four-year-old son said thank you and she ignored him as well as me. What happened to the lovely lady with the cowboy hat that used to work here? friendly polite kind? Why have you replaced her with this John Lennon in a wig rude individual ? If you want to keep your customers, make sure your staff represents your business , being rude to me is one thing but purposely ignoring my young son who is trying to teach her some manners is disgusting . Bring back lady in the cowboy hat !!

There’s something about this place that just makes me very happy. Chilled vibe, great smoothies, the toasties (of course), the lights, the music. Ok so the menu is brief but it doesn’t pretend to be a meal destination….its a shed and it sells cheese!

Stopped by here for the first time having heard positive reports. Great concept but the offering was underwhelming. The pistachio and rose pastry was tasty but rock hard. Couldn’t work out whether this was how it was supposed to be or stale. Coffee was served in paper cups when, for the price, crockery should have been used. Toilets were portoloos.

Quirky pit stop for coffee and excellent cheese toastie on cycle ride round Henley. Coffees were warm too and reasonably priced.

The 'hot' chocolates and coffees were lukewarm. The Danish pastries were hard and stale. There was no cutlery. The worst bit was the toilets - 2 x Portaloos outside which were filthy and vile.

Honestly can't understand the miserable buggers reviewing this place... citing 'lack of choice' at a place that specialises in cheese toasties... really? £6:50 for a fresh made toastie with a huge amount of cheese, hot, gooey and delicious.. just slip into that cheese coma and enjoy

A miserly amount of cheese in our toasty and no garnish. Just a small sandwich on a paper plate in a bag for £6-50! Given they make the cheese the profit margin on this is immense. £5-99 for a smoothie, most expensive I have seen all year. Even the staff didn’t look or sound happy. My first and last visit. What a shame as the concept is great but execution very poor. Suggest the owners visit The Blue Tin to see how a friendly, tasty and great value for money outside cafe runs.

Firstly, they have 2 spots for disabled parking but If you have a walker like my elderly parent it is an uphill gradient of some distance over wood chip. You don’t realise it is wood chip in the restaurant until you get there. Nightmare for wheels of any sort. No seating near entrance. Delivery vans draw up right outside entrance and the drivers climb over a low wooden barrier. Removal of this would allow a drop off point. A wooden walkway was not wanted by them as then wood chips would collect on them. Broom to sweep them off?? Really it should have something on website to say not suitable for disabled access. The entrance has a sharp policemen’s hump which would cause considerable discomfort anyone with arthritic spine or hips. Otherwise interesting idea and ha a lot of potential. Enjoyed the food and drink offered.

The toasti was fabulous but would have liked more choice of bread. The potaloos were clean but there was no water to wash hands. We reported this but was told this us always the case. Its not acceptable to be selling food in a rural setting with no facilities to wash your hands.

Visited on a rather rainy day while walking in the area. Luckily there was a table in the barn. You’ve got to like cheese toasties as there’s a complete lack of choice. Our cheese toasties were nice enough but nothing special - especially as they were £6.50 each. There was no choice of bread - white bread only. The toilets are portaloos. Having now been once I won’t be returning.

Love this place - food, drinks, decor, dog-friendliness, everything. My only suggestion would be to offer a ‘half toastie’ so that one has room for a smoothie, cake, ice-cream too. When I suggested this to the girl at the till, she looked at me like I’d just asked for a gluten free, vegan option 😳 🤣

This is a very simple cafe, with only one hot snack, a cheese toasty, made with there own cheese and it was the best toasty I have ever had. Hot and cold drinks, cakes also. Small shop selling the 3 cheese that are made on the farm. Very busy even on a wet and windy Easter Monday.

My brother and sister in law live in Henley on Thames, and my brother-in-law, knowing and sharing our love of cheese told us we simply had to visit the Cheese Shed. So we have actually visited on a number of occasions now. As others have already said, the cheese toasties are out of this world. As are the cronuts too however! Lovely coffee and a little shop area where you can buy cheese, pickles, artisan breads etc etc. I am just grateful for the sake of my waistline that I do not have the Cheese Shed on my doorstep. Can I also add, they are dog friendly! So this is a perfect place for me. They have outdoor seating as well as the undercover 'shed' area. As a final note. their Witheridge Hay Cheese formed part of mine and my husbands wedding cake, it received a huge amount of compliments and I know my brother in law has since shown the staff at the Cheese Shed. Witheridge is a semi-hard cheese that is matured in hay- apparently Nettlebed Creamery were the first to mature cheese in this way in the UK. It is delicious, so make sure you pick some up to take away. The Bix and the Highmoor are pretty delicious too by the way!

I love this place. They don't do much, but what they serve is the best, their famous toastie. You can also get cakes, ice cream, hot/cold drinks. Setting is charming, rustic , wooden tables, benches haybales etc in and outside a farmshed/ in their courtyard , next to the local church . In the summer the courtyard is a sun trap. There's a giany marblerun on one wall for the kids. Cheese toastie is super crispy , oozing with their own produce. You can't better, it's yummy simplicity. I drive here from Windsor for a cheese toastie, kid not. Their smoothies are delish too. Staff all have delightful , engaging personalities, serving customers with oodles of charm. Makes me so happy when something is simple and perfectly done. 5*

If your preference is for superb beef cooked to pink perfection & with generous supplies of it, then don't bother going anywhere else: The Black Horse is the place where you'll find it, as we did yesterday. Coupled with an enormous Yorkshire pudding & copious supplies of accompanying veg, this was a very fine meal indeed. We would recommend going there wholeheartedly. And the sticky toffee pudding was spot on, too. Light as a feather, it melted in the mouth.

I am a kind of burger fan, my other half celebrates the national fish and chips day here 😊, but I would say here the Scottish Cod and the Berrick Burger are the non-plus ultra of pub food nationwide ✅ All ingredients supplied by local farms, bakeries. Hospitality, kindness, five stars, A+ class. Pets friendly, playground for kids, beer garden, spacious carpark, friendly locals. Strongly recommended place☝
