Food good and service quick..very busy but staff still friendly and helpful..

Nice pub. Good drinks and food. Plenty of tables so finding a seat is no problem. Nice friendly staff too. Typical Wetherspoons pub with good prices and service. Every follow up visit is the same. Great quality good and drinks and good attentive staff. We go there on a very regular basis for food and coffee because it is that good. Always great value for money. UPDATE: We still go at least twice twice a week sometimes more and have yet to be disappointed by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of food. Great place to socialise with a great bunch of friendly down to earth people.

Sausages seemed like they were kept warm under a lightbulb for hours,they were awful rock hard and burnt however the eggs were decent

Lots of room and lots of semiprivate booths to sit in. The staff are a bit rough looking and sounding, though. 2023.

I went in for a breakfast, ordered and waited ? Afte 20 minutes of waiting I asked the staff as to where my food was ? It was then noticed that it had been delivered and left on the wrong table. When the staff realized there error it was brought to my table cold. I instructed the staff I didn't want it and i wanted it replaced. The food was taken back to the kitchen and instead of being replaced, the breakfast was microwaved. Disgusting service

Out of all the Wetherspoons I have visited (Quite a few). The Charlie Hall stands head and shoulders above the rest. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and very efficient. I feel comfortable enough to visit on my own, as the atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly. Definitely my favourite Wetherspoons.

Apparently this place has been voted the 3rd best Witherspoons in Birmingham & I would quit agree.

We do love to come for breakfast but off late the food had come out cold and some off the items have been rock hard and don't get much as you used to anymore sorry

My favourite place to have fish and chips, I never will boring. Always amazing customer service and wonderful portion with affordable prices. I can back every week if is possible.

The staff and waiter are very rude to customer they have zero respect for people they speak very aggressively and rude bad experiences

Came here with my mom, bar staff member was so rude and so was the floor manager who we complained to. Doesn't help to complain either as alot of staff are related your complaint will just get you banned. Place is a dive! Food was disgusting and cold! Not worth the money spent, will not be returning here ever again let down by staff, this place has gone down hill.

Nice Victorian-style pub in Erdington. Ambiance was cool. Quite a number of people out there on the day. The crowd was very mixed and inclusive. They have television screens for folks to watch matches and this kind of casino-like machines for a quick wager. Some folks made some money while we watched. Didn't have any food so I can't speak on the food. Service was courteous, fast and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Prompt and efficient service. Very popular local so may be quite busy and noisy during the day.

It's a classic pub. Various other Wetherspoons have a more modern contemporary look, but this one is dull, having said that it's a classic pub nonetheless. It adds to its charm as these types of pubs are dying breeds. So it's best left how it is. It could use a lick of paint, though, and some brighter lights! Staff are amazing.

Beer was ok poeple in there my god what a bunch of weirdos just looked at us when we walk ed in suits and ties ready for funeral maybe need tracksuit might be better????

This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a true vintage design! This is contributed to from the well-styled walls and the section separating them, counter is well presented too. I enjoyed a refreshing pint of Stowford Press, sitting comfortable at a smooth, clean table!

The fish and chips was nice. Fried not oven-baked. Not sure about all the right-wing political pamphlets that Wetherspoons have on each table.

The curry club was very apertizing and filling. My boyfriend had chicken jalfrezi, rice and 2 naan. 2 naan instead of 2 pappodums. I had chicken tikka massala,poppadum, rice and naan.We had a cookie crunch each as well, which was value for money. The curry club was value for money too.

Great pub it is big inside it with an outdoor area. The food is fantastic with a wide variety to choose from including vegetarian/ vegan options. You cant beat a weatherspoon breakfast and the portion sizes are plentiful. Although the vegan susages are now Richmond oned and I prefer quarn susages . I wish the susages brand wasnt changed. Also you can get a drink included In the price of your meal as a deal which is good. Free refills on coffee but there is no soya milk option on the refills . Only problem is this pub gets busy and your lucky if you find a seat at all. Parking is cheapest at the high street church car park which is down by Marie curie charity shop on left hand side. The pubs also on good transport links buses etc but the pub has no parking. Overall all this pub makes a great pub if you want to fuel yourself up before doing a spot of shopping on the high street.

Cheap and cheerful. Massive Weatherspoons. Has big garden. Food cooked well to weatherproof stands. Helpful staff and not a bad place if your in Erdington.

We wanted breakfast and couldn’t find much else in the area. This place is HUGE! Large pub in the front, well-lit dining area in the back with skylights, and an outdoor patio/garden for smoking. The place is clean and looks very well maintained. Food was average at best; seems to be prepared mostly in a microwave or on a small grill. This is surprising given their large extensive menu. The 2 days we visited, their toaster was “condemned”?!? Does the food quality all hinge on their toaster? Coffee is made by automatic machine… does anyone in Erdington have a proper espresso machine and know how to use it?? 5-stars for service, as they went through the rubbish bin to find my wife’s dentures (she put them in a serviette, which was promptly cleared from our table by staff).

Some Food is okay 👍 staff are happy to help, but they serve the regulars first 😐

Brilliant meal mixed grill with a pint £10

Came in for lunch as the all-day brunch with a pint of Pepsi Max is £4.79 I believe at the minute. The guy who came to the table with the food was extremely attentive, polite and showed me where the sauces were. First time in this Weatherspoons and it was all-round brilliant

25 years next July since it opened . Can be a bit downmarket late at night.

I am a regular here. Great helpful friendly staff. Good food and service. Always a pleasure to go there. Love that you buy a cup of coffee or tea and refills are free. Plus drink machines so that takes pressure of the bar and staff. Very clean Cheerful pub. Linda

Went there Sunday night ,got there before 11 ordered a larger turned to ask what somebody wanted and the two people behind the bar shouted that it was 1 minute past 11 and the tills were closed I said I am half way in ordering a round the both said too bad tills are closed no more drinks . They even turned the machines off while people playing on them . The woman and man were very dismissive even when one man came up to bar and told them he had money in the machine, eventually they had to turn them back on . My night was ruined by the attitude of those working behind the bar that night . I thought you had time to finish your drink's after being told last orders . There was 10 of us what a shame a loss of money and some said would not go back . If they don't want to serve people what are the two of them working in a pub for?

Always busy. Sometimes too noisy . Good service lovely staff, some good cosy places to sit. Eg booths. Fish and chips great.

Heating never works properly they have turned it off again today it is like a frege in here 14/6/24 got no respect for the customers

The Stella is good and it's a cheap place to go.

I was served by Sylwia the worst. your employee said she wouldn't serve me, when I asked why she said she didn't know. I was hungry and wanted some fish and chips with a soft drink. Maybe she has some problem with women. You must observe if any of your employees have personal problems with others because they spoil the name of your company.

Its not for everyone, but I meet my son and his gf there when I visit, as its their local. Prices are as expected, food is good too. The service is always great, full of smiles and always happy to help.

I've been going into town every morning for years for my ritual morning weatherspoons fry up. Only to recently find out the same breakfast is less half the price in my local Erdington wetherspoons. Really good staff, and a great little pub. Do not be put off by "Erdington" as I did.

Always a good place to pop in for a inexpensive meal whilst doing the shopping.

Fantastic food and always friendly in here. There's always ample seating and food and drink is reasonably priced highly recommended if your in the Erdington area

You can't order everything on the menu. For example, it is not possible to order eggs Benedict

Foods always good, staff are great.

Could be better on the breakfast and if you take children be aware that you will hear some bad language occasionally but other than that is ok.

One of the staff was really rude and aggressive towards me also while waiting for my food she wouldn’t let me sit down in a sea what was empty and then she took over an hour to give me my food

I really want to not like wetherspoons, and support local chains... But.... They open on time, close on time, serve cheap food, and, the staff are so incredibly warm - where did you find them? Why does Erdington deserve them? They are a gift. They go the extra mile for no reason and it gives me faith!!

Approached the pub to ask if we could have a table for 12 to 14 people last Sunday, was a bit short notice on our part but the manager was very obliging and set a table up for us. When we arrived at 12pm the table was ready to go and the staff expecting us. Food was great, came out quickly, hot and everyone's order was correct. We were allowed to bring a birthday cake too which was lovely as it was for an 18th birthday get together. Love the Charlie Hall, always well presented, value for money and the staff are friendly and attentive. A huge thank you to Carl and the team for accommodating us and giving us a lovely afternoon 😊

They say open to till 1 but don't let u in after 12am I finish work at 12 am tryed to got for a pint after work just to be refused entry I was in my work clothes so they can see I work at a different pub wot a joke ov a place will not be going back the again
