Costa Coffee in Birmingham

The service of the girl was pretty nice and fast. I like her coffee so much even why she works only on weekends 😅

Always a super fast service even if I have to walk from BCU to Aston to get a Costa! Cannot fault it

Really efficient service from the guy on duty. There was quite a long queue and despite being the only person on duty, I didn't have to wait long at all. Warmed up raisin pastry yummy too 😋

Would of given a higher rating but sadly understaffed on a University open day!!! A big own goal from Costa!!! Waited a while to be served and get the drinks and food , others was waiting and luckily I had time but I could see others was annoyed at the wait. 2 people to make the drinks (one is trainee I think) 1 to heat up or grill sandwich etc . Really needed someone to serve the till. Didn’t ask if I was takeaway or eat in , as eat in hot chocolate in glass would of have cream and sprinkles which was not asked.

The staff are very rude, I've never had an experience like this in any other costa store. One of the workers who was cleaning the store pushed me a little as he walked past me and did not apologize or look sorry. Also, I ordered a small hot chocolate WITHOUT cream and when I got back to my workplace, I found they put cream in it, making it undrinkable for me. If someone had a severe allergy to dairy and they did something like this, it would have made them very ill.

Beware! Worst customer service ever by incompetent staff who don’t seem to care working there serving their customers. I guess it’s too much to ask for a simple service. Very argumentative, not helpful or friendly at all. 2nd time gone there, nothing has changed. Same bad attitude and service, nothing new. Don’t go there. Will be complaining to Costa directly.

The staff here are so lovely! One of the male servers is always friendly and smiling. The other younger man has offered to carry my tray. The young lady on the till is really helpful and thoughtful and knows the drinks well. They have never run out of anything I've wanted (unlike most other Costa stores I've been to) and I'm pleased to see more vegan options recently.

Came in this morning at 10am, never again. Asked if they did the tropical mango BUBBLE frappe drink. The white girl with brown hair serving said yes, so I paid. I then watched her make the drink, not adding any bubbles and using the regular straws and then serving it to me. I asked her if she added the bubbles as I didn’t see any nor did she give me the correct straw, to which she said no. I told her I didn’t want the drink if it didn’t have the bubbles and was confused why she didn’t tell me. She said they just didn’t have any left. Completely baffled. You wouldn’t serve a hot chocolate with just milk and no chocolate powder. The fact she tried to serve it to me without telling me she missed out the key ingredient is disgusting. I’m not sure why she thought she could walk over me and I wouldn’t say anything. Anyways I told her I wasn’t having it to which she caught an attitude, definitely need to learn some customer service skills. I asked for a refund where she looked extremely scared and walked off, with no apology! Many thanks to the manager who processed my refund, you’re a gem 💎 (p.s. I’d advise you to remove your inadequate staff)

Pleasantly quiet on a Saturday. An excellent retreat to enjoy good coffee without boisterous crowds.

Went to one stop Costa coffee and was welcomed by the staff. When I got to the queue they already know my order which queue they know my order. Love going there on the weekend and having a nice caramel latte with a nice warm cinnamon roll.

I have been teaching Science/Maths for several years and I would like to recommend Connex Education. I have worked with Connex on NTP and the staff are highly professional and caring. Thank you so much !!!

The coffee at Costa has really low standards. The taste is horrible everywhere in the UK.

Awful service. Someone please tell the tall female with brown hair that smiling and greeting customers politely are just standard. Grunting like a troll is not.

It's a Costa Coffee. The staff are excellent and the coffee is consistent with what you would expect from a Costa.

Like any other coffee shop. I ordered a filter coffee and was given an americano with the comment that it's the same anyway. It isn't. I couldn't be bothered to argue.

Staff in this branch can not make coffee, they leave the grounds all the time and serving cold brew before it’s done

Went in for a chai latte they didn’t have any chai. This was first thing on a Monday so not sure why they didn’t have any in supply. It’s not like there’s an extensive drinks menu so shame they have very little to offer.

Efficient and friendly student haunt

Best hot chocolates, especially the new Christmas flavoured ones which are amazing. The coffees are great aswell. The food is nice a bit over priced but taste great. The cakes are lovely every time worth it! Overall really nice and great for a nice place to go for a hot drink and work or even a social catch up.

Really clean and really nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and relax.

A standard costa but many of the staff are extremely moody and a tad rude! E.g not bringing your sandwich to the table when there is literally one customer at the counter and, you overhear her conplaining how bored she is as there's nothing to do but chooses to shout across the room and got annoyed when I didn't get up promptly to go grab it as I was amidst something important. Almost all of the guys are ok and a couple of brunettes who usually work the mornings are lovely.

Nice location, opposite the old fire station. Very modern looking. Nice selection of cold drinks (very useful on a hot day like today!)
