Apart from the aggressive chavs hogging the pool table, it was ok, decent pub

Wish they will fix or turn on the extractor fan in the kitchen. Opening the back door isn't going to stop my clothes smelling of grease.

Not everyone goes in the pub to get drunk so I am not expecting to hear a lot of f words coming from members of staff or talking about the chef having a hangover during working hours. No wonder I’ve had to wait more than 30 minutes for a snack. Awful atmosphere!

Nice place staff really friendly, didn't have food but seemed busy for it a little dark in garden area but overall seemed like a gd local

Staff are very friendly and reasonably priced it’s nice to walk to a decent pub 5 mins from me definitely would recommend it to anyone thinking of going for food and drink you are getting your moneys worth. Keep up the great work Chandos 👍

Visited during daytime when there was ample space, ambient music and happy staff. A couple of snacks we ordered were really good, and drinks were very fresh in cold glasses

Popped in earlier today still a little hungover from last night. Ordered the roast trio. Blew me away. The explosion of flavours in my mouth at once was a game changer. From the well seasoned meats to the honey roasted carrots and parsnips, luscious potatoes that melt in your mouth. Amazing. Hats off to the chefs. Well done lads. Job well done 👏

I absolutely loved it when i got welcomed by Dionne with my wolf and straight away offered dog treats to me and her colleague was really adequate and respectful, all praise to the owner to have thought of these characteristics to run in the local pub, i myself are from west london but we don't have these welcoming in most pubs which is why i passionately left this review, i dont want to leave any comments on the food because when you consume beer then everything and anything is exceptionally breathtaking!

First visit for a quite a while, love that they have a cocktail menu & have started serving food! We shared a meat feast pizza, buffalo wings & some curly fries. Everything was really good but the buffalo wings were the highlight 😋 Will definitely be coming back for food & another raspberry tequila spritzer!

Ordered Pizza for 4 people (plus another 5 to take away) and have to say it’s the worst I’ve had. Also 2 pizzas arrived at the table and the other 2 took ages which is not acceptable.

Amiable staff. Is our weekend pub. Highly recommended.

Ordered a pizza. After half in hour we were served with a really burnt base of pizza. Awful. Never again.

Went on a Saturday at around 4 and it was very quiet. Dated but decent little place for a pint. Particularly loved gay pride jesus 🌈.

Fairly standard as far as pubs go. Went on a quiet Sunday for a few drinks. Okay price wise - maybe a tad expensive - but I found the coke taps to be a little weak, so my mixers ended up tasting somewhat watery. Didn't get a chance to try the food.

It's a simple cosy little English pub with friendly staff. They have great pizza and pretty much most of the drinks you would expect.

Just what the local pub should be. Friendly landlord, good team behind the bar. Beer is always fresh and pizza is top notch. Locals are a welcoming bunch, nothing more to ask for.

A very nice, humble local pub making a lot of effort having regular fun events such as comedy, quizz and jazz nights. Interior decoration needs an update but is not too bad. The pub deserves a visit for locals.

Bit expensive for colindale.... West end prices for a pizza

We have not visited The Chandos for some time having received a parking ticket the last time. I remember other visits seeing Members of Madness play fantastic music and on other visits enjoying the food and served by a lovely waiter who I think was a manager and came fro. Lithuania he was fantastic and we knew hi. From his days at the now closed Italian In Beaufort park. We came this week and passed through the bar where a group were playing snooker. They were extremely loud and worse shouting at an elderly Staffordshire bull Terrier. There was a young lady walking around talking rubbish about burping and apologising. The shouting and noise was ridiculous and coming into the main bar where there was myself and partner and just one other customer. It felt like a young persons youth club. I don’t understand how this had happened to this lovely little pub but we left did not finish our drink and will never return.

They do Beavertown, which is an auto win for me, and the staff were nice, especially when a mob of us turned up unannounced (tbh our usual place was unavailable) but a good time was had.

比萨很不错 🍕 Came here for the pizza and the pizza only. It was of excellent quality and there are plenty of toppings. It’s made fresh to order, so it might take some time, but we relaxed with a beer while waiting. The diavola is spicy and full of flavour, and the carnivora was extremely good too. I’ll come back again to try the carnivora next time!

They make a real effort on everything but the beer. Good events and community feel, but I go to a pub for a beer. In this respect everything is from global mega brands. The beer really isn’t good enough to warrant a return visit. If they looked at some smaller London breweries that would make a huge difference.

Quiet pub and unfortunately didn't have a chief when we visited for food so not a good visit for us

Nice bar, have a small beer garden at the back, pool table behind the bar. Currently they are not serving food that's a down part . Otherwise it's a nice place to hang out.

Very disappointing. Place has gone down hill. Dirty toilet. Not even a handle on the grubby door. No heating. Open fire not lit. Kitchen closed down. Was supposed to be comedy night. The place is a joke.

Fantastic pub with traditional interior with a pool table. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Beers on tap are good quality. Hats off the the chef. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. And I've had a few in my day! Fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly.

Great to hear and see live band this evening. Setback that kitchen was closed this time round as normally serve good light snacks. However it was permitted to bring your own grub this time round. With food a definite 5 star. Get there early as parking limited in local streets.

Great local with a welcoming community spirit. Hoping it pulls through the difficulties brought on by Covid - Colindale needs this pub!

Friendly warm and welcoming atmosphere and clients amazing, owner and wife lovely, both chefs are amazing too I'd go there when it's quieter to get a drink otherwise it gets filled up very quickly. Great for all walks of life, I like pubs that are little colder to begin with until they like the fire this one is good because you can go outside smoking a cigarette or go inside and the staff will always look after your drinks .

Nice staff, best chips, place a little shabby but good place for after work drinks with colleagues.

I am not sure how the food is prepared, but it tastes like pre prepared Microwave food. All in all it is good value for money, don't expect your taste buds to love you.

Dog friendly pub. Nice locals and nice bar stuff. Decent food at a good price and drinks are nice. Outdoor area front and back and lots of comfy sofas especially the ones by the roaring fire. Events going on each day so there is always something of interest. No wonder it won an award

First thing to be said is I love this place. It's a great meeting place, also the nearest thing we locals have to being a traditional independent pub and its a massive plus for the local community...... but ....... I've been coming into this pub for several years now, at least once a month to the Folk night and sometimes 2 or 3 times a month to other musical evenings in addition, and although the ale (as opposed to "lagers" or "beers") have never been great, even under previous tenants, it has generally been passable at best, though never perfect!........until recently..... and in particular Monday 13th January, when it was extremely poor. .....To the point that I was ill in the traditional beer drinking sense when bad beer is partaken (only 4 pints, truly) causing me to be ill through the night. Both ales being served on the night (La Bamba and Golden Hen..... London Pride not available) had strange chemical taste which was borderline at time of drinking in terms of complaining. My pal left a full pint of La Bamba and a half pint of Golden Hen. I do hope that in future the real ale situation is sorted out regarding the upkeep and maintenance of the ales. If the ale was great, I'd be in the pub 8 times a month. Please don't force us ale drinkers onto the bottle.....the pub deserves better!

Urig und total gemütlich. Das Essen war top und die Getränkeauswahl ist so vollkommen ausreichend. Gute Musik hat zusätzlich dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Ordered chicken supream Sunday roast as per the menu and they just brought out turkey coz it's Christmas and didn't even have the chicken available. Turkey wasn't even on the menu.
