Had a beautiful experience at five bells As a regular pub goer I’d definitely say this place is a must to be and have a pint , also the staff suhail a proper gentleman and top notch customer service. Would definitely visit again I can see myself going there regularly

Go here all the time and always get the ribs and they are always so so good. The foods lovely, the service is lovely and the staff are always so welcoming and sweet, especially steve and amy. Amy especially smashed it when i came if for food today, we had a small problem and she fixed it asap!!

Regularly come here for lunch, food is lovely, steak can be a hit and miss sometimes but apart from that, it’s always nice. Staff are always lovely and friendly, esp Ammie, who’s very sweet and goes out her way for you.. plus my little ones love her!!!! Garden is also very nice on a warm day.

Had a fantastic evening at the Five Bells! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent—proper hearty pub grub done right. But the real star of the night was Ammie! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well looked after from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and she had a great way of making everyone feel at home. Popped in a few weeks ago for a couple of drinks, we have just moved to the area so this was the first time we had been in. We were served by a lovely lady behind the bar who made us feel really welcome. Her name was Amy. We will def be back, thanks Amy for making the time to chat with us.

Shocking experience yesterday. I witnessed the young lady behind the bar being rude to customers in front of me , saying that if they hadn't given her the correct table number not to come in and complain. She had a real chip on her shoulder!! She was rude to us and almost threw our food at us , she clearly needs training in customer service and is definitely in the wrong job!! .I won't be returning

This Pub has undergone several refurbishments over the last few years. I went in to this place a few months ago and tried the food for the first time. An immense bowl of spicy chicken wings and chips. They were excellent and the food thus far has been equally good if not better. The furniture is very sturdy. Is there a heavier term than sturdy? I had trouble moving my enormous stool. There is a friendly poker game on a Wednesday night and a thoroughly enjoyable Quiz night on a Thursday. Children seem to be ever present so it is a genuinely family friendly place. I'll give it a four star rating. A bit of a whiff of "Narbis" on one or two patrons as they sulked back inside from out in the garden, but sadly it's the norm for some types these days.

Ammie is fantastic at making the pub feel like a great place to relax and have a drink! Great vibes all year round but especially in the summer!

Me and my family love visiting five bells, it's cosy and so family friendly. The kids absolutely love it here. The service is always lovely, especially Ammie who is always so helpful and cheerful! The food is incredibly good for value, and always good service. They also show the sports which is great. Reccommended always!

A very beautiful pub with Excellent choice of food!! The staff are welcoming and friendly. It's a usual spot during summer time and the atmosphere is impeccable. Love their chicken wings and it has quite large portion. Food and liquor prices are very reasonable.

The best green king I've been to. Delicious food, lovely wait staff. Unfortunately everyone around us was obnoxiously loud, maybe if tables were a bit more spread out it'd reduce that, but I can't complain about food or staff :)

Had a lovely gathering with the school mummies and families. Five bells pub did their upmost to book us in for a table of 11. Staff were very caring even though I took another table to extend our party (which I felt bad not asking B4 taking). All staff looked after us well even though the pub was very busy on Friday night.

Great valute for money. Friend and family atmosphere. Roast or mix grills are ok. Good value for money. I’ve discovered a new pale ale (new to me)… highly recommended Old Speckled Hen. Cosy in winter and great outside space for the summer. If you drive electric there’s a big changing station in the car park

Quiet for a Saturday night but that's not a bad thing. Bad weather probably had an impact. Polite and helpful staff. Booked a table but probably didn't need to bother, but it did mean we got a great seat for the football. Nice food, good service and very reasonable prices. We would certainly come again and my daughter was pleased with the vegetarian options

Don't order the piña colada ! It's cultural appropriation gone terribly bad. Clearly the bar tenders have not been trained and never gone to the Caribbean, eg, Puerto Rico or Cuba

Really nice, pleasant pub. Best thing is definitely the staff, they are consistently really lovely and welcoming. Held a relative’s wake there and we were treated very well. Went another time with a friend and again staff were great. Nice atmosphere, not too loud, but still a lively place.

I am a big fun of this pub. Foods are really tasty and the prices are reasonable. The staff are kind and our children also enjoyed their food and atmosphere.

This is a great neighborhood pub, which has exceptional food. They make the slow cooked beef rib to perfection and fish and chips is also very nice. Service people are nice and friendly. Great for going with kids and family to have an after work chill out.

Website advertises as dog friendly but unfortunately they are not welcome in the pub. This was not made clear until arrival, having travelled to reach the destination.

Had a couple of fantastic meals here whilst on holiday from Australia. The meals were really hot and tasty. The ribs were amazing, the burgers were awesome and the Mac and cheese to die for.

We had dinner for my husband's birthday. Even though it was very crowded, our order came very quickly and the food was delicious.

First time coming here today, and I was recommended to this pub by a friend. We had a Sunday roast dinner (beef & turkey), which is very good value for money. We will come here again and try the grill menu next time. Great service from the bar staff to the food coming to the table, so overall, a well earned 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 review. Thanks. PS. Was busy there today, which is good, and they have loads of TV screens inside to watch the football ⚽️ on.

We were waiting for food over 1 hour. The food came cold, no one behind the bar to ask. Lack of ale beer. It used to be different here. Unfortunately we won’t come back here

Went for a meal with family today, food over cooked and greasy, long wait as long queues as only one staff on the bar, one waiter, tables with empty plates and glasses on, felt sorry for the staff, the manager or owner needs to employ more staff. My nephew wanted dessert was told kitchen closed.

The staff here are amazing, the drinks are good and the Friday karaoke is amazing 100/10

I drive by this pub and I always wanted to stop by because of the garden, I had a very bad experience with the staff, they were not friendly,went there again after 2 weeks and it was the same! Every time I went to the toilet I was followed by the staff, I haven't tried the food but won't recommend it!

Food choice & price was very good. Service was friendly. We were there early afternoon ao wasn't busy but atmosphere was ok.

When eventually the food came for us all,most of it was Cold,the mash potato especially, we had to keep reminding the staff for our order then the dessert was not available after waiting about half hour,no one told us we had to go and find someone.You need to get your act together we were going to come for Father's day but not now. Well it wasn't the Roast it was Cold mashed potato with the Chicken fillets which were like warm,No extra Pigs in Blankets that were ordered, came as person was nearly finished after numerous asking, no plate for Ribs bones,cold chips, no mention of Cheesecake not available till we pestered about were it was,Waiter serving at Bar so other staff running around, I understand it was busy But the Food and service was unacceptable.

This is our local pub and it has gone massively downhill recently, which is such a shame. They used to have an extensive cocktail list and lots of speciality burgers which were delicious, particularly their Californian burger. Visited today to find that they have drastically culled their menu. My "pina colada" was just the various ingredients dunked in a glass, not blended at all. My burger was very poor and looked nothing like the pictures in the menu; frankly McDonald's would be better (and cheaper). It was a dry unseasoned patty with a slice of tomato and some lettuce, no sauce or anything. Very disappointing. We won't be going back until they get back to the quality they used to have.

Always minimum 40 minutes for something to eat. A nightmare with hungry kids. Last time we simply left after 35 minutes. Even when we asked for refund and goodbye no one seems to care. 💀

My friend and I stopped in here on the way to see Sampha play at the Alexandra Palace with plenty of time, we could never have predicted the events that would follow. Ordering our food on their app at around 4:20, the main courses arrived promptly and were enjoyed, however we couldn't yet count our chickens. After approximately one hour elapsed we thought something was odd due to the fact our desserts hadn't yet arrived, predicting that we had been forgotten about or that something out of the ordinary had occured in the kitchen. I asked the bartender about this and was told that we had been forgotten but that the kitchen had been reminded. However we still weren't home and dry. Another hour went by as we started to feel our hair growing in real time. I caught the attention of the bartender as he passed and once again asked about the status of our elusive puddings, his nonchalant response: "I forgot again". At this point we felt like we were in the matrix and that we may not even get to see Sampha that night as we were held hostage by the sunk cost fallacy. After about another 15mins our desserts finally managed to make it out of the fridge and land on our tables. We scoffed them and hastily made an exit, passing two toddlers on a fruit machine. A very memorable time but, as I think you'll agree, a time worthy of a 1 star review.
