Chicken wings were dry and over fried. Service was very slow. Just to get 2 scoops of ice cream took over 15 minutes!🙄

I am a big fun of this pub. Foods are really tasty and the prices are reasonable. The staff are kind and our children also enjoyed their food and atmosphere.

This is a great neighborhood pub, which has exceptional food. They make the slow cooked beef rib to perfection and fish and chips is also very nice. Service people are nice and friendly. Great for going with kids and family to have an after work chill out.

Website advertises as dog friendly but unfortunately they are not welcome in the pub. This was not made clear until arrival, having travelled to reach the destination.

Had a couple of fantastic meals here whilst on holiday from Australia. The meals were really hot and tasty. The ribs were amazing, the burgers were awesome and the Mac and cheese to die for.

We had dinner for my husband's birthday. Even though it was very crowded, our order came very quickly and the food was delicious.

This place has undergone several refurbishments over the last few years. I went in to this place a few months ago and tried the food for the first time. An immense bowl of spicy chicken wings and chips. They were excellent and the food thus far has been equally good if not better. The furniture is very sturdy. Is there a heavier term than sturdy? I had trouble moving my enormous stool. There is a friendly poker game on a Wednesday night and a thoroughly enjoyable Quiz night on a Thursday. Children seem to be ever present so it is a genuinely family friendly place. I'll give it a four star rating. A bit of a whiff of "Narbis" on one or two patrons as they sulked back inside from out in the garden, but sadly it's the norm for some types these days.

First time coming here today, and I was recommended to this pub by a friend. We had a Sunday roast dinner (beef & turkey), which is very good value for money. We will come here again and try the grill menu next time. Great service from the bar staff to the food coming to the table, so overall, a well earned 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 review. Thanks. PS. Was busy there today, which is good, and they have loads of TV screens inside to watch the football ⚽️ on.

We had a good day and a good time watching football at The Five Bells is The best pub in London we had a wonderful time also I will recommend you to my friends. I am families to go there and public.

Our first visit was great. Lovely atmosphere. Welcoming attentive staff. Sunday roast dinner was fantastic and really great value. Perfect for watching sport on TV too. We will definitely be back.

We were waiting for food over 1 hour. The food came cold, no one behind the bar to ask. Lack of ale beer. It used to be different here. Unfortunately we won’t come back here

Went for a meal with family today, food over cooked and greasy, long wait as long queues as only one staff on the bar, one waiter, tables with empty plates and glasses on, felt sorry for the staff, the manager or owner needs to employ more staff. My nephew wanted dessert was told kitchen closed.

The staff here are amazing, the drinks are good and the Friday karaoke is amazing 100/10

I drive by this pub and I always wanted to stop by because of the garden, I had a very bad experience with the staff, they were not friendly,went there again after 2 weeks and it was the same! Every time I went to the toilet I was followed by the staff, I haven't tried the food but won't recommend it!

Food choice & price was very good. Service was friendly. We were there early afternoon ao wasn't busy but atmosphere was ok.

When eventually the food came for us all,most of it was Cold,the mash potato especially, we had to keep reminding the staff for our order then the dessert was not available after waiting about half hour,no one told us we had to go and find someone.You need to get your act together we were going to come for Father's day but not now. Well it wasn't the Roast it was Cold mashed potato with the Chicken fillets which were like warm,No extra Pigs in Blankets that were ordered, came as person was nearly finished after numerous asking, no plate for Ribs bones,cold chips, no mention of Cheesecake not available till we pestered about were it was,Waiter serving at Bar so other staff running around, I understand it was busy But the Food and service was unacceptable.

This is our local pub and it has gone massively downhill recently, which is such a shame. They used to have an extensive cocktail list and lots of speciality burgers which were delicious, particularly their Californian burger. Visited today to find that they have drastically culled their menu. My "pina colada" was just the various ingredients dunked in a glass, not blended at all. My burger was very poor and looked nothing like the pictures in the menu; frankly McDonald's would be better (and cheaper). It was a dry unseasoned patty with a slice of tomato and some lettuce, no sauce or anything. Very disappointing. We won't be going back until they get back to the quality they used to have.

Always minimum 40 minutes for something to eat. A nightmare with hungry kids. Last time we simply left after 35 minutes. Even when we asked for refund and goodbye no one seems to care. 💀

My friend and I stopped in here on the way to see Sampha play at the Alexandra Palace with plenty of time, we could never have predicted the events that would follow. Ordering our food on their app at around 4:20, the main courses arrived promptly and were enjoyed, however we couldn't yet count our chickens. After approximately one hour elapsed we thought something was odd due to the fact our desserts hadn't yet arrived, predicting that we had been forgotten about or that something out of the ordinary had occured in the kitchen. I asked the bartender about this and was told that we had been forgotten but that the kitchen had been reminded. However we still weren't home and dry. Another hour went by as we started to feel our hair growing in real time. I caught the attention of the bartender as he passed and once again asked about the status of our elusive puddings, his nonchalant response: "I forgot again". At this point we felt like we were in the matrix and that we may not even get to see Sampha that night as we were held hostage by the sunk cost fallacy. After about another 15mins our desserts finally managed to make it out of the fridge and land on our tables. We scoffed them and hastily made an exit, passing two toddlers on a fruit machine. A very memorable time but, as I think you'll agree, a time worthy of a 1 star review.

I made a order and half an hour later asked them about my food, they said it was coming soon. After an hour waiting, I asked again and they said that my order was delivered to wrong table, and I couldn’t order again because the kitchen was already closed. Terrible service, if you can, avoid this kind of disappointment.

Steve was an amazing host. Full energy and made me feel very welcome. Steak tasted great...and cooked perfectly even as a deal day offer !

Great food for really decent prices

Poor service, came in for Mother’s Day dinner. Waited an hour and a half for food to arrive. We were not told by staff that there would be a long wait. We were only told that it’s a long wait once we spoke to the bar man an hour after ordering. The food finally arrived and was cold. Not one meal was hot. Really really poor. Customer service from bar and floor staff non existent.

Great place for a cheap lunch with ample parking. Piping hot pub grub - steak, gammon, pies… great cold Peroni beer - and nice young staff. It is a sports bar so there is usually tennis or football on but that is not intrusive. Near a cemetery so probably a good place for a funeral wake.

Staff on today the lady and gent gave such excellent customer service and food was amazing.... steak for 8.49 can't go wrong was cooked to perfection medium rare. Thanks guys x

Five Bells exceptional service today. Table booked for my Dad's 93rd birthday. Nine meals & drinks. All served in hot, in good time, they provided plates & culery for cake we bought too. Thanks to the Manager - Steve It is family oriented, has good exterior eating facilities too.

Just an amazing spot, I love it 100%. The food is delicious, you can order and pay through an app, and the atmosphere is so cosy. I appreciate the reasonable prices and combo deals as well as the large portions. Highly recommended. ❤️

Came here for lunch and absolutely loved it. Really good prices, large portions and tasty! Comfy seats with plugs for your phone and nice atmosphere. Coming back for quiz night and plan to come back lots more.

Met 2 lovely girls summer and amy made us feel very good and are a credit to that pub and the food was lovely we had lovely waffle chips and the pub was clean and tidy

The staff make this place, they are friendly, helpful and professional. The pub was recommended by both the Crematorium and the Funeral Directors when we were looking for someone for a wake. Unfortunately, despite numerous calls, plus enquiries on their website, we were unable to make contact pre Funeral. However, a visit was made on the way to the Funeral and the staff could not have been more kind or helpful. I have only given four stars for atmosphere and food, purely because of the circumstances of our visit. The atmosphere l didn't really take in properly and the food l hardly touched, although it looked lovely and everyone else said it was really nice. We had a selection of the sharing platters, which at late notice, worked perfectly.

Nice place for a decent pint and a quality meal. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection. The service was great and my dirty plate was taken almost as soon as I finished.

Only had the one beer in here with a friend, so i can't comment on food other than my friend said he'd eat there and enjoyed it. It was fine, fairly busy we found parking although part of the car park was a bit flooded, also found a seat they have sport on flat screens, but it was more a family pub imo.

Busy Saturday night me & my friend came for some drinks. Bar was so busy but we were served by the lovely summer who got our order done quickly with a smile

When the drinks were brought over to our table the waiter left the tray and walked away, so that we had to get the drinks off the tray ourselves and find somewhere for the tray to go. We ordered 3 beyond meat burgers but after ordering and paying were told that they had run out of the buns. Two of us had the alternative types of buns, but someone in our party could not have the alternative buns so had to have a burger with no bun instead. We asked for extra chips and salad to make up for this, but when it arrived there were no extra chips or salad. Due to dietary requirements a vegan nacho dish was ordered. After tucking into the dish we realised that it was non vegan. Real dairy cheese had been used and had already been consumed. Very dangerous and it was realised too late. We raised this and the vegan nacho dish was brought out instead, but we barely got an apology and didn't get any compensation. Also, one of our guests were told that a beef burger brought over was a vegan beyond meat burger. She started eating this and then realised that it was meat. Again, realised too late. The restaurant was not busy so fail to understand how all of these mistakes were happening. Very dangerous and risky for those with allergies. It all seemed a bit sloppy with no real care or consideration.

I genuinely can’t rate this place more! It’s perfect for a drink with a load of friends. Great ale, great vibes, great time! Cheap also for the area.

Fantastic pub with comfortable seating and lots of garden space both front and back. Good amount of parking at the front including charging spaces for EV's. Easily accessible by public transport with bus stop right outside. Really friendly management and staff and very efficient service with great prices for beer and food. Everything you would expect from a Green king pub. Sports shown and regular quiz night and karaoke.

i was very impressed with the five bells, the service was amazing, the bar staff were wonderful, the food was great and the atmosphere was top notch, me and my freinds stayed for hours and had the best time, will be visiting again!!!!

After a very disappointing Xmas day lunch this year, we decided to go for lunch today. We ordered a sirloin steak, which was very nice, and also a large mixed grill. The chicken was very, very dry, and I didn't get the onion rings as described, the grilled tomato or the bbq sauce I ordered. Sounds petty I know but I'd like to get what I paid for. The server was very good after I told him we didn't get everything that was supposed to be on the plate. We won't go there again for food, but will go for drinks like we normally do as they are reasonably priced and the service is always good. we are local to the area so it's a handy place to grab a drink.
