Was here for brunch and it was a really cosy little place. Really friendly staff and the food was fresh, hot and very good. I do not eat meat but they did me a Full English without it and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Will be back.

Breakfast is cooked to perfection, fantastic price & really lovely ladies. My dad used to come here in the 60s when he was a mod & he says the place is the same. I always come here when I'm in the area & I've never been let down

Fabulous place this. Talk about take you back in time. I visited here as a teenager 'back int the day' and couldn't believe the same lovely lady was still there doing the cooking and serving. Food delicious and the prices are so reasonable. Lovely breakfast and the coffee still proper milky and served in little glass cups. Brilliant. Can't wait togo back.

Still very good retro surroundings with budget catering. I can never imagine it without the Mods and Rockers bikes outside. I don't think they've changed the outside decor since the mid-sixties. Well worth a visit just for the nostalgia!

We stopped here to eat some food before cycling 100 miles. The staff were accommodating. The prices were very competitive. The architecture was of an interesting vintage. The toilet was particularly special.

Well hidden across from row of shops on what I assume is the main road through Gorleston. Extremely well priced, and tasty too! The cafe smells musty and is quite dark, but at the same time that adds to the old fashioned feel of the Chalet Coffee Bar. Interestingly I didn't actually find out it's name til I checked when I got home as there isn't clear signage outside or inside acknowledging the name. I loved how I could hear the owner hand cutting my chips in the back whilst I waited - like being a little girl again, or even being at home! The resident cat is a beautiful, silky tortoiseshell girl. Very friendly and a bit of a sun lover!

So much fun! Went back on Sunday to watch the football. Great Landlord, so much fun, and very friendly Landlady! 10/10
