03/10/24 Havent posted for a while. Great place as always. Great public house. Had a great lunch again today, unreal..... always a beautiful original atmosphere. My wife loves this place as do I and she always chooses this establishment above any other... 27th/06/24 What a great pub. Landlord great guy and got it well with the staff. Really good hospitality and amazing food that comes with that also. I was in there 3 times last week, twice this week and its great a business hub with great food. Go in there Went again today. I know this may seem a bit stupid on me posting again..... however.... try no 42 with Pork. .. off the scale.... green curry mixed seafood fish off, off the scale and order fresh chillies in fish sauce as a small sideline..... great Landlord, no nonsense, great operational team in there and the beer and wine..... love it. Taking my beautiful wife Thursday. Enjoy Went again today. Took the wife and my Uncle...... I know it seems a bit obsessive however..... amazingly great again. Great Pub, lovely staff, great Land Lord..... seating for eating excellent, service great, atmosphere love it and the food..... amazing.... had Green Curry again, Pad Thai off the chart loved it, spicy Pork amazing, spring rolls unreal..... what a great place to go. And went again today.... mixed seafood green curry with a pint. Unreal food . ❤️ best ever This place is a massive hidden Gem guys... the food is traditionaly real . This is the best Thai ever outside London..... and is better than any Central London Thai food. You would be mad not to eat here and i have eaten in all of them... you must have the Green curry..spicy ..... dim Sums....ridiculously good ❤️❤️❤️ And then took my wife a week later.... she is a massive fan and totally agrees with the above.... her opinion is the best Massaman Beef Curry.... just go .... trust me

Fabulous family run pub. Great drink choices & the Thai food is superb! And reasonably priced too. Lovely garden for children and they are dog friendly. I am a regular here & often go for lunch or to watch the football.

It was very nice bar and affordable price. Thai food was so brilliant from authentic thai chief. I had an authentic pork noodle bowl which was very huge and so full. Lovely bar staff even it was very busy and crowded on football match. I’d recommend this bar if you come to visit potter bar. Also dog friendly!

What a lovely pub! Food is fantastic, so delicious, always the same standard and is proper authentic thai food - all of which is very affordable! The Guniness is bang on! Prefect spot, where can you get proper Guniness to wash down the spicy thai food! The service is impeccable, with lovely and very friendly staff! I left my wallet behind one time and it was returned to me untouched! Thank you!! Great place to watch live sports too!

Hands down the best place to relax with friends or by yourself cause the staff will keep you laughing all night, cannot recommend this place enough for family days cause the food is beautiful or a night out with friends

Cosy pub with great beers, superb service from Sam and the Thai food is as good as it gets in the UK, then consider the amazing salt beef bar right outside and this has to be one of the best venues in the area. Absolutely 5 star venue and even the bitter Liverfool owner is a a good man aswell😂, COYS. Amazing place a must to visit. I will be back.

In general I don't go to pubs anymore but I was given a personal recommendation about the Thai food so as I was nearby by and I thought 🤔 why not. I was not disappointed. Fresh, well cooked and tasty and the spicy taste and warmth built up slowly. The staff were nice and helpful and it's dog friendly. It also had that old pub feel.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. I had the Weeping Tiger Steak and Fried potatoes and it was spicy but not burning 🥩+🌶️=❤️. A+ would have again. The pub itself was staffed by friendly folks and a Maine Coon cat. Super friendly. However it's noteworthy that it's a football/slot machines type of pub with a fairly loud Sunday lunchtime / football clientele. Free fast WiFi 👍🏻

The Thai food here is excellent and the menu has a lot of variety. The beer is well priced and well kept and the bar staff are all fantastic. A great place to visit at lunch or after work and the garden is great in the warmer weather.

I used to really like this pub until one day my friend forgot his ID and the woman was really rude and really aggressive even if my my mate didn't drink anything she was saying have to get out after 7:00 p.m she still don't let us finishing my drink you know we did nothing wrong apart from my mate forgot his ID and she kick us out and only got my money back because I argued with her I was a regular before this

Decor looks a bit tired but don't let that put you off. 2 real ales on & not common ones either. I am a fan of Thai food & this was really good. It was reasonably priced too.

Have been looking for a pub with a Thai kitchen and we have finally found our go to place not far from where we live. This pub is a great find! The bar staff are very friendly, the bar is a lovely old style English pub and the food is absolutely delicious! Very fresh, comes out piping hot and it is fabulous. We have been back twice since and can't wait to visit again and try some different dishes on the menu! Love this place!

Nice local pub with friendly staff and customers very welcoming to new faces. Felt part of a family very quickly. People happy to chat if you want but leave you in peace to have dinner. Visited few weeks back, now visiting almost weekly for regular dinner. Large TVs at every angle so you can watch sport from wherever you sit. Only downside is smokers too close to entrance to beer garden. But otherwise excellent. Food is amazing.

Been coming here for years and have to rate Snowy the landlord who has changed this pub from what it was 20 years ago to what it is today, great atmosphere and karaoke on a Saturday!

Lovely meal good staff very accomodating . Food exactly what was asked for the chef was happy to explain what was spicy and everything was cooked to order . A table of 8 and no complaints speaks for itself, I certainly will eat here again .

Really nice pub, high quality screens up by the bar area for sport, good selection of beers, the garden out back is a nice suprise (my missus noticed all the flowers being planted) thai kitchen very tasty and reasonably priced.

We had an excellent Thai take-away last night. One dish, Aeb Pla fish, might just be one of the best Thai dishes we've ever tasted. The red curry was also very good. Delicious. This is now our go to Thai place. We can already see many other different than usual Thai dishes we will need to taste. Well done chef!

A great traditional pub in the heart of Potters Bar, if you enjoy sports, they have Sky Sports on various screens. Also they serve some great food as well.

Very Friendly community pub of Potters Bar. Has two ever changing real ales, two keg beers and four different Lagers. Excellent Thai Food with a large Thai Menu. Great for watching sports events With large TV'S inside the pub. Has a very large beer garden at the rear of the pub with lots of tables and also sports TV'S in the beer garden is also dog friendly. Has karaoke on Saturday night which is popular with the locals. Well worth a visit if visiting Potters Bar.

Last minute decided to see if we could get a bite to eat and found out they have a great menu with some good pub favourites on. We had the Classic Burger, Steak & Ale Pie and Cheese & Bacon Burger and they were scrumptious. Great service and very reasonable priced. Definitely going back again.

Bar staff are amazing. Diane is just wonderful. I wish every pub had a Diane. Demi is a mini version of diane . Great laughs here.

Very Popular Pub for the Locals, nearly always Packed when I've gone there. But the Garden is fairly Large, and more Roomy. So not so good if you just want a Quiet Drink. But an OK Pub.

Not a huge fan of Greene King ales, but a lovely little old boozer in Potters Bar, full of character. Few nice bottled beers that save the day.

Go here a fair bit as moved to area james the landlord is friendly as are staff quite noisy on a sat night due to karaoke good pint of Guinness served here
