An amazing wedding venue with excellent food. One of my favourite places in Nottinghamshire to shoot weddings!

Tuvimos que apresurar nuestra boda debido a varios factores, sin embargo, nunca se sintió como que el plazo era demasiado ajustado para el equipo en el lugar. La comunicación era fantástica, con todo planeado hasta el más mínimo detalle. El equipo era amable, servicial y siempre allí para nosotros en todo momento, especialmente durante todo el día. Un punto destacado para nosotros fue que durante la comida, mi esposa comenzó a abanicarse debido a que estaba caliente y sin dudarlo o incluso decir nada de lo que un miembro del equipo le había abierto la puerta! Todo sobre el día transcurrió sin problemas, y eso se debe en gran parte al nivel de compromiso que tienen las personas que dirigen y trabajan en The Carriage Hall. Este es el lugar para casarse en el área de Nottinghamshire! Oh y la comida era fantástica también! Dije en mis votos que el día de nuestra boda no sería el mejor día de nuestras vidas, ¡pero The Carriage Hall ha hecho que sea una promesa muy difícil de cumplir!

My wife and I got married at The Carriage Hall last week and I could not speak more highly about the experience we had! We had to rush our wedding due to various factors yet it never felt like the timeframe was too tight for the team at the venue. The communication was fantastic, with everything planned down to the finest of details. The team were friendly, accommodating and always there for us at all times, especially throughout the day. One highlight for us was that during the meal, my wife started fanning herself due to being hot and without hesitation or even saying anything a team member had opened the door for her! Everything about the day ran smoothly, and that is in no small part due to the level of commitment held by the people who run and work at The Carriage Hall. This is THE place to get married in the Nottinghamshire area! Oh and the food was fantastic too! I said in my vows that our wedding day wouldn't be the greatest day of our lives, but The Carriage Hall has made that a very difficult promise to keep!

Carriage Hall is such a beautiful venue, and from the moment we had our first viewing we knew that it was where we wanted to get married. What we hadn't anticipated was how much support the Carriage Hall team would provide us when it came to planning our wedding and how enjoyable they made all the experiences. The wedding day went so smoothly because of everything they did and we are still receiving so many compliments about the venue, food and service we all received. We honestly couldn't have dreamt of anything better and we can't wait to visit Perkins for future anniversaries. Thank you xx

We can not thank the Carriage Hall enough for our amazing wedding day. From the very beginning to the very end everything was perfect. The team are so attentive and make sure everything is on track form initial meeting right until the final dance on your special day. Massive thank you to the whole team, every single person was instrumental to our day being perfect and every guest was commented how excellent the service, food and staff were. We had our wedding at The Carriage Hall September 2024 and cannot recommend enough! The staff were fantastic, from viewing the venue to planning meetings to our wedding itself, nothing was too much trouble, everyone we spoke to was professional, friendly and helpful. The food was incredible and we received so many compliments for the menu. We were absolutely delighted with our wedding, it was the perfect venue! My wife and I got married at The Carriage Hall 2 weeks ago and our whole experience was just incredible. From the moment we first looked round the venue right up to the big day itself the staff were amazing. Our wedding day was just perfect, the venue, food and staff all made it an even more magical day than we dreamt of. I've just been to the most perfect wedding you could wish for at this dream venue. The Hall itself is charming and atmospheric, but when you factor in the charm, friendliness and superb organisation of the staff it really is the complete package, making for a magical and memorable occasion.

Went to a wedding yesterday the venue was excellant.From start to finish even catered for our son whos very funny with food brill wedding and day helped very much with the venue.

We got married at The Carriagehall in June 2024 and wow what a day it was!! The staff are all amazing and do everything to make the day special. Callum and Cat were phenomenal and were always on hand to answer any questions and always came up with solutions when we needed them (even the night before when we had a table plan fiasco-thanks Callum!!) The most beautiful venue for any event, but ESPECIALLY for a wedding. It was PERFECT!! The food was gorgeous and we had so many guests come over and tell us how tasty the food was and how much they loved it! The turnover of rooms from ceremony-to dinner-to dancefloor was flawless (which is something I worried about with it being one big hall). There is honestly nothing I can fault. We haven’t stopped having compliments from our wedding day and a massive factor in this was how smooth The Carriagehall team made the day and how beautiful the place is. We absolutely love this venue and will forever recommend this to future brides and grooms. Thank you sooooo much Callum, Cat and the team for all your hard work, dedication and expertise! We are forever grateful for the part you played in our big day xxx

Una experiencia muy positiva que comenzó desde el minuto en que llamamos por teléfono para hacer una reserva. A la llegada nos dieron una cálida bienvenida por el personal más encantador, que se tomó el tiempo para charlar con nosotros sobre nuestros recuerdos y estaban felices de que camináramos y recordar. El alojamiento de la cabaña del pastor estaba escondido y era absolutamente hermoso, impecablemente limpio y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia romántica. Por la noche disfrutamos de una magnífica comida en el restaurante Perkins, el servicio es insuperable, como siempre. El desayuno de la mañana siguiente fue tan delicioso, que completó nuestro fin de semana de la mejor manera posible. Nos encanta este lugar.

Thank you all at the carriage hall for making our special day so magical! The whole process from booking, to food tasting, to every meeting ran smoothly, all the way to the day. Catherine and Mel, were our go to throughout all of the planning, always ready to help and advise. On the day, Georgia and her team were amazing! She even saved my husband and myself a drink as we were busy taking photos. The venue is the perfect backdrop for your wedding, perfect for photos and creating unforgettable memories. The whole day, was perfect! Every guest that came to our wedding day ( all day and evening guests) said it was the best wedding that they had attended. Picture perfect!

Speaking as a supplier, this wedding venue is very easy to work with and easily accommodated delays (ceremony overran) to make sure that the day still ran seamlessly. It is an absolutely beautiful setting, with lots of great opportunities for photographs whatever the weather.

We are so grateful to the Carriage Hall for hosting our charity celebration dinner. It was my first time planning an event like it and Cat was beyond helpful every step of the way to support us in making the evening a success. The venue is stunning and the size was perfect for our needs and helped to create a brilliant and intimate atmosphere, we’ve had wonderful feedback on the food from our guests, and the customer service really made the event. I am especially grateful for your flexibility when we made changes, patience with any questions and amendments to our table plan, thank you so much for going above and beyond.

Sadly we had to visit because of a funeral, however the room was perfect for the event and buffet was really really good.

I attended a wedding on the worst day but the carriage Hall was so amazing. Next door there is a lovely little restaurant where we had our breakfasts there again the quality was Exceptional like the Carriage Hall.

We have recently passed 6 months since our wedding with you (where has the time gone?!) and have been reflecting on how much we enjoyed our day. We were so impressed with all of the team, from the beginning of planning to the day itself. When we first visited for our viewing we could tell that they are a friendly, welcoming team. The venue is beautiful and well maintained, and we knew it was the right place for us. We could tell they genuinely cared about us as potential customers, and the events that they host. We valued them being upfront about costing and logistics in our planning meetings, and the experience of the staff members was evident throughout. Secondly - the food!! A family member mentioned to us how nice Perkins is soon after we booked, and when we came away from our wedding food tasting we couldn’t have agreed more. We know good food is such an integral part of hosting an event, and we’re still getting comments to this day on how good the food was. There were plenty of very satisfied tummies afterwards! The politeness and adaptability of the staff members is exceptional. We were running a bit late on the day and the staff quickly adjusted timings to account for this, ensuring no one noticed, and that no plate of food was cold. It helped keep this element of the day stress free as we could just enjoy the day and trust that they were in control. On the day my mum asked one of the waitresses about how they’d made a certain element of the food - I remember thinking that she probably wasn’t going to get a response as they were all so busy, but she came straight back having asked the chef for her. This is just one example of how polite and helpful all the staff were throughout the day and the evening, and it didn’t feel like anything was too much trouble. I’ve had a couple of comments from the vendors we hired to say how easy The Carriage Hall team are to work with, and how clear expectations on timings etc were. We could really trust that they were coordinating everything well and that we didn’t need to worry. The accommodation and breakfast the next morning were a lovely finishing touch. Having a couple of on-site options was a bonus, and we were so pleased to be able to arrange a larger breakfast at Perkins the morning after. It was a really special way to finish the weekend - one that all our guests thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you so so much

We had our wedding at the carriage hall recently this month. All I can say is WOW! honestly it was the best venue we could have ever imagined. Everything from the planning, to the service on the day. The way everything was put together- especially by our wedding planners Cat, Debs and Mel. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved every minute of the day. The venue is perfect for younger children too, as they have the balcony area to go on during the speeches. The outside area is also perfect and I honestly loved the inside, it’s beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone! I had so many comments throughout the day and since, saying it was the best wedding they’d been to. Can’t thank them enough! X

We can't thank the staff at The Carriage Hall enough for making our wedding day so amazing and exactly how we wanted it! From the first meeting with Mel, we could tell they are a very experienced team and she was so helpful in guiding us throughout the whole planning process. Nothing was too much trouble throughout the planning process and throughout the day. Thanks to Georgia and her team who were there on the day, it ran so smoothly and we didn't have to think about anything as they had it all in hand. The Shepards huts were also a really special place to stay on the wedding night. And of course the venue is absolutely stunning and has a really private feel to it. We had tapas for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented how delicious it was. All in all it was a perfect day!

Excellent venue for a wedding. Team are very well organised and helpful. Food was excellent, served hot and in a timely manner. All staff appeared happy with excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble on the day. Plenty of parking available on site within short distance from venue. Gardens well kept and pretty. Word of warning lawn is soft and no use with heels - although I did help with aerating it! Would be nice if they could develop the accommodation side further so that more of the wedding party could stay on site, on the wedding night. However, not with Shepherd huts! Whilst they had all the little touches you would expect, and very clean, a step for climbing on to the bed would have greatly improved the stay - if you're short and have ANY mobility issues I would stay elsewhere. One point to note - only fried breakfast, coffee, tea and toast offered to us next morning in restaurant. No menu to choose from or lighter options available. I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding celebrations.

Having organised many events at many different venues, I can honestly say the Carriage Hall is one of the best event spaces to work with. Very friendly, welcoming and extremely well organised, with a real can-do attitude. Nothing was too much trouble. Our event had many last-minute changes, which were all met.

We cannot thank the Carriage Hall enough for everything they did to help make our wedding day so perfect! From initial booking to the wedding day, the Carriage Hall communicated with us constantly, answering all our questions and allaying all our worries, stresses and concerns- no matter how small! Nothing was too much trouble- they even created a fully vegan tapas menu for our wedding breakfast, as having a fully vegan wedding was really important to us. On the day, everything was absolutely perfect - the Carriage Hall took care of everything so we did not have to worry about a thing- we could completely enjoy our day and everything went so much better than we could ever have hoped for! We have had so many compliments on the venue, the food and how well organised everything was! This is a truly beautiful setting for a wedding, with the most amazing food and helpful staff- we 100% would recommend this venue to anyone booking their wedding!

Ive photographed a few weddings here over the years and I can definitely recommend this venue to future couples. The venue itself is lovely, the staff are great and the food is amazing!

Very nicely located/connected with plenty of parking for many guests. There was champagne on arrival as well which was very nice. With an upstairs area, as well as outside seating it didn’t feel too crowded but you could still find a lost friend quite easily. Also well lit and ventilated and generally great atmosphere

From day 1 of viewing the carriage hall, through all the prep to the big day we cannot fault this stunning venue and all the staff that made our magical day come true. Nothing was too much trouble, all questions answered in a timely manner and they did everything they could to bring our vision to life. The food is probably the best I've ever eaten at any wedding, lots to fill healthy appetites. We want to thank each and every one of the wonderful staff at the carriage hall and I would highly recommend you to any bride and groom! From our first meeting with Mel to leaving the morning after the wedding after a night in one of the Shepherd Huts and a Full English at Perkins everything was incredible. Mel made the planning process completely stress-free and the whole Carriage Hall team made the day absolutely amazing. Everyone was so impressed by the amazing and friendly service, delicious food and beautiful setting. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special and enabling us to just enjoy it and have fun celebrating. We can't wait for many more visits to Perkins.

We fell in love from the first moment we set our eyes on the Carriage Hall. We wanted a traditional, secluded and intimate venue to celebrate our special day, and the Carriage Hall exceeded our brief. From the moment we paid our first deposit to saying goodbye on the morning after the wedding, the whole team treated us with kindness and remarkable professionalism. Nothing felt too small or too great to ask for. Wherever possible, they adapted to our needs (we had many of them!) to accomodate our intercultural African Wedding. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and the food was a real talking point. Would highly recommend.

Had an event here not long ago, the 3 course meal was one of the best meals I’ve had. The staff are very polite and friendly, the hall itself Id beautiful and clean. Great for a party. They handed out canapés before we all sat at our tables. A lovely experience overall. Only downside is that it cost £28 for two double rum and cokes. I think we’ll stick to a pint next time haha.

Carriage Hall did everything they could to make our Wedding Day the most perfect day! From the very beginning it was so easy, when we first looked around the venue, to our food tasting, to the day itself, it was faultless! Whenever we had any questions whether it was at the beginning or right up to the end, these were answered straight away and always put our mind at ease. The day itself couldn’t of gone any better, the staff were amazing, so attentive and caring! The food was unreal, everybody couldn’t believe just how good it was. We couldn’t of picked a better venue and couldn’t of imagined getting married anywhere else so thank you all so much!

We had our reception at the Carriage Hall on 03/09/2022 and I am still so pleased with how smoothly and perfectly everything turned out! From the very beginning the whole team at the Carriage Hall made planning our wedding such a fun and stress-less experience, all our meetings were super helpful and the team were able to bring all our visions to life. I can't believe how relaxed I felt on the build up to our wedding day, as everything was taken care of and handled so brilliantly! The food was delightful, everyone raved about the wedding breakfast and many people have said the hash browns in the evening were the best they have ever had! The hall itself is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are just as great, it made for some stunning photos. We stayed in the Huts too and they were brilliant, and the view in the morning was another highlight of the weekend. We had a full english breakfast the next morning at Perkins and it was the perfect end to a perfect weekend. I want to say a huge thank you for catering to my dietary needs also, the catering team were super helpful throughout and were able to accommodate well to be needs and choices. Thank you all so much for your hard work and for being so hands on and helpful, the whole experience was absolutely incredible and the day could not have gone better!

My son and his partner's wedding venue... What a fantastic time was had by all! Everything from start to finish was made exceptional by the hard work and dedication to detail of ALL the staff involved. From the welcome of the guest, to the ceremony, to the dinner and then the evening function, all in the same room! the staff were simply wonderful! The food was of a very high standard, one of the best we've ever had! Compliments to Ian and his team in the kitchen! After such a fantastic day, we went back the following morning for a family breakfast in the restaurant.....yet again, this did not dissapoint...a most enjoyable full english with very attentive staff. Wonderful! The venue itself is very well presented. We will return for a Sunday lunch soon! Thank you ALL so much!

The staff at The Carriage Hall were fantastic! From the advice they gave us on a viewing day, the planning meetings with Cat and the handover with Debs and Shalome, through to the bar and waiting staff on the day, everything was perfect! The food was amazing and every one of our guests has commented on how great it was. The grounds are lovely and have made for some great photos for us to remember the day forever. Visited for a lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This time the restaurant was in the Carriage Hall to allow for appropriate social distancing. Very well managed throughout our visit. The food was superb and at £20 for 3 courses of this quality it is great value for money.

During these difficult Covid lockdown times we have sampled two “Gastronomic Series Takeaway Meals” the first was Greek and the Second, French from this highly recommended South Nottinghamshire restaurant. Both were excellent, well packaged with easy instructions to serve and heat where appropriate at home. Highlights in the Greek menu was a stunning Moussaka and in the Substantial French Dinner a French Onion Soup and GruyereToast which was a tremendous curtain raiser to this typical French dinner. So if you are bit blue and locked in I can highly recommend these “posh nosh” takeaways,so set the table, raid the wine cellar and relax together as a family.

Lamentablemente, estuvimos allí para un velorio, pero el área del balcón del entresuelo ofrecía una segunda área que se sentía separada de la planta baja y al mismo tiempo se sentía parte del mismo espacio general que funcionó muy bien. La comida también era bastante buena para un simple buffet frío.

Tuvimos la recepción de nuestra boda aquí hace cinco años y podría recomendarlo lo suficiente.Cuando vimos que se habían agregado Shepherds Huts y estaban disponibles para reservar después de Covid, no podíamos perder la oportunidad. ¡Aparentemente fuimos la primera reserva!Nos alojamos en el Great Oak en el paquete entre semana. Una ganga absoluta a 210 que incluía una noche en la cabaña, comida de tres platos, botella de vino y desayuno entregado en nuestra puerta por la mañana.La cabaña es enorme e impresionante con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Encantador tener algo de espacio al aire libre ya que el clima es tan bueno en este momento. Nos casamos en The Carriage Hall hace seis meses y todavía no tenemos palabras para explicar lo increíble que fue el día.Nos reunimos por primera vez con el equipo de The Carriage Hall en agosto de 2018 cuando vimos el lugar e instantáneamente supimos que era donde queríamos casarnos. El equipo fue muy profesional y eficiente durante todo el proceso de planificación. Las reuniones regulares fueron útiles para ayudarnos a planificar el orden de nuestro día, la comida y el entretenimiento, etc. Nada fue demasiado problema. Fue una ventaja adicional que pudiéramos ver nuestro lugar varias veces antes del gran día, a medida que nuestras ideas evolucionaron, pudimos visualizar cómo funcionarían con el espacio disponible.Durante el día, todo transcurrió sin problemas y sin problemas.
