Quaint and remote. Lovely lady behind bar who was accommodating and polite. Not much drink choice but suited our basic needs. Open roaring fire in a 1700s pub. Quirky.

Good pub, good beer, lovely ducks. It's a free house and they only seem to do 1 barrel of a beer at a time, so you may only get to taste 1 pint of a particular beer, but on the other hand nice to taste a variety.

Very friendly little pub on the village green. Proper local's boozer with excellent staff. I only popped in for a beer, so I can't comment on the food. Very dog friendly.

A lovely little village pub focusing on local. Great for local ales and cider. Very welcoming. Picnic benches outside lovely in the sun over looking village pond where there are currently ducklings.

Proper old fashioned pub with mostly regular locals, no food and focussed on quality local cask ale. Step back a century.

This pub is a rarity in terms of location, 100 years of service by the same family and...the charm of its host Colin. Leave you technology at home or in the car and enjoy a traditional pint or short looking onto the village green and pond. True British rural idyll

Terrific, very pretty pub in a pretty village. It's old school in a really good way (i.e no scowling locals). Really friendly welcome, excellent real ale.

Visited for the first time with a friend and had a great time! The atmosphere was relaxed and sophisticated, I particularly liked the old Victorian decor. On top of that, the food, wine and service were all excellent. I will definitely be coming back.
