The Canton Takeaway in North Ayrshire

Dry tasteless food, limited chicken in meals. Delivered cold. Worst takeaway in years. Pre ordered and still cold on delivery.

Food was not good and the owners will try to overcharge you at the first opportunity. I was charged an extra £1 just to make the curry spicy. Please don’t order from this place, there are lots of Chinese takeaways in the surrounding area, offering much better food and they won’t try to rip you off.

I have been coming here for the last 20 years as the food was delicious and always cooked right. Now it has changed hands and the food hasn't been as good with the owners over the past year. But, now I see new owners again and their attitude is not as friendly and the takeaway was horrible, the prawn crackers were soggy and so was the fried rice which was saturated and dripping in fat. The king prawn cashew nuts was okay but not as good as before. My friend's cheese omelette was greasy and it didn't taste fresh as if it weee last weeks left overs reheated! Not happy, will be going elsewhere 😞

As the saying goes try and try again, since changing hands we haven't been using this place as much, but as wee change we thought we would try it again for the 3rd time. We picked something we hadn't tried from here before and it was very very tasty. We will definitely be having it again.

We had been going here for many years but it has recently been taken over by different people. The food is nice and the staff are friendly but its nothing like it used to be, definitely not my favourite anymore.

Brilliant food, brilliant staff. My wee granny had a fall and had to rush to her side leaving our order, the staff very kindly made a fresh batch and asked if she was okay were very patient. Lovely place altogether

Awful service . Mistakes can be made but it’s how you redeem yourself that makes the difference. Been going here for years but will not be back.
